14/07/2026: Excellent restaurant, full menu for 30 euros, choice in each category (snails, frogs' legs, fried fish, fish, beef...) really very good and generous portions. The waitress was smiling and friendly. Absolutely perfect.

12/07/2026: Honestly, I go there very, very often, but there are too many mistakes. Yesterday I ordered a harissa wrap, the new item, and I received a regular wrap with bacon. I don't eat pork, and since I have two babies, I had time to eat very late, and I was disgusted because I could only eat the potatoes. It's not the first time, so spending €30-50 every time only to be the only one who can't eat is really not good. They need to improve.

27/07/2026: First visit on a Sunday evening, fantastic! The meal was excellent; we had pizza and pasta, and the famous Tiramisu for dessert. The price was reasonable for five people: €30 each for an aperitif, main course, and dessert. Finally, the service was great; the staff were welcoming and competent.

10/07/2026: One of the best chip shops in the area! The fries are excellent, the sandwiches are generously filled, and everything is always served piping hot. The staff is friendly, the wait is short, and the place is very clean. A real pleasure every time I visit. I highly recommend it!

27/06/2026: During a weekend in Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle, we went for a walk to grab a bite to eat and stumbled upon this pizzeria. We were delighted! It's a clean and friendly place, the pizzas are delicious and generously topped. The women who run it are incredibly kind, and despite the heat, they kept smiling. I highly recommend it, and if we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely return.

05/06/2026: Good food and a friendly team of waitresses were completely overshadowed by the unacceptable behavior of a waiter (presumably the manager). Not only was this man arrogant and aggressive, but he refused to acknowledge a change error in my favor, reacting with verbal abuse. Targeting a person with a disability in this way is shameful. He would do well to remember that it is the customers who keep his business afloat. What a shame to undermine the efforts of the chef and the rest of the staff. Update: Your response unfortunately confirms your denial. First of all, you are clearly mistaking me for someone else: I haven't been a customer of your establishment for years. Secondly, attempting to downplay the incident by insisting it was simply a "coffee paid for on the spot" is extremely disingenuous. Regardless of the bill, a change error in no way gives your waiter the right to verbally abuse a customer. Criticism is a tool for progress in a business; if you prefer to reject it rather than address unacceptable behavior, that is your management choice, but disrespect towards customers remains unjustifiable.

07/07/2026: My wife and I have made it a tradition to go to Barneville-Carteret once a year. We know the restaurant Le Cap and have enjoyed coming there every year. For the first time, we were very disappointed by the quality of the food. My wife's beef was too salty, and I ordered grilled lobster. Of course, there are management and profit margin considerations to respect in a business, but for the price quoted, the lobster was small… and I don't think it was grilled but only baked. (In any case, it didn't look like grilled lobster.) The side dishes (vegetables) were not up to par… the ratatouille was mediocre, even, I would venture, industrial, given the texture of the eggplant, and as for the presentation of the purées… grainy in one case and plain in the other. I don't know if it's the same manager, and/or if management's instructions have changed, but it was disappointing. Fortunately, the front-of-house staff are still as kind and professional as ever, and the setting is just as pleasant. It's a shame about this sour note…

05/07/2026: We had a wonderful lunch together at this establishment where we received a warm welcome. The food was excellent and served in a beautiful dining room. A place to remember for any lover of fine cuisine. We will be back.

12/07/2026: Hello What's going on at the restaurant? My little girl and I are regulars, but twice in the last few weeks we've been turned away to find the restaurant closed, even though Facebook said it was "open".

03/04/2026: 0/5. It's impossible to give a positive review because, despite a reservation for four people made by friends three weeks before Palm Sunday (which had been accepted), these so-called professionals cancelled our reservation the day before. An address we will forget. Disappointing.

It's a true pleasure to enjoy 100% homemade cuisine made with fresh, seasonal ingredients. You can tell the chef puts his heart into it; each dish is prepared with care. From the appetizer to the main course to the dessert, everything was delicious and incredibly fresh. I highly recommend Les Amis restaurant to all lovers of good French cuisine and authentic dishes. A must-visit for an excellent meal. I can't wait to go back!

They told me to order a personalized pizza and pay extra!!!! A disgrace for €15! Absolutely no customer service! I won't be going back....
