30/04/2026: Avoid at all costs! This restaurant reopened four days ago under new ownership, and the wait to be served was incredibly long. Our aperitif cocktail was served with a rotten mint leaf. We ordered one fish and one paella, but received two cold paellas. The children's menu was also cold (the customers next to us were complaining as well). The chocolate fondant was good, but not fudgy. You should expect to wait at least two hours for a meal! Despite all this, the waitresses were fantastic. It's a shame for a restaurant that has just reopened and is already losing local customers.

23/03/2026: Lunch break 3 minutes from the highway. Set menu for €18. Buffet of starters, main course, and desserts. Excellent welcome and service. We'll be back.

26/05/2026: The rooms were filthy and dirty. They hadn't been cleaned. Only the linens had been changed, thankfully. There was a smell of wet dog in the room. The mirrors and windows were dirty, there were unidentifiable stains on the carpet, hair in the shower, and unidentifiable water stains on the walls and floor of the toilet. The toilet cistern cover and toilet brush holder were broken, and all surfaces were sticky and uncleaned. The street was quite noisy, but it was either that or suffocate from the awful smell. I almost forgot the thought that came to me when I saw that the fitted sheet was inside out… was that intentional or a mistake? (No answer expected) The atmosphere was reminiscent of The Shining. We were offered breakfast, coffee/tea, or juice as an apology, but it was absolutely unappealing given the state of the room and everything else. Even though the price wasn't exorbitant per person, it's a far cry from the concept of a hotel where you want to feel at home, or even better, but certainly not worse. Awful. The staff feigned surprise at our experience during check-out, but at this point, they need acting lessons to make us believe it even a little. We didn't see any other guests in the hotel, so a more decent room would have been welcome.

14/04/2026: Sunday, April 12, 2026 - 5:15 PM Purchased a mille-feuille and a homemade Bueno tart The pastries are good: the mille-feuille was excellent 😋 The Bueno tart was okay, but the Bueno flavor was almost nonexistent ☹️ Prices are quite high, but thankfully the quality is there. However, a major drawback was the service: the saleswoman was cold, unfriendly, and rushed customers without giving them time to choose. We clearly felt like we were bothering her (it was Sunday and raining, perhaps that was the reason...) 🤔 It's a shame, because the products are worth it, but the service ruins the experience. Despite this, I recommend this place for its pastries 👍🏻

06/04/2026: I don't comment very often during my trips (I think this is actually the first time). However, I think the owners and Staff from Hotel-Restaurant La Bonne Franquette absolutely deserved it. I spent my 2026 Easter Weekend there. My room was clean and the bed very comfy, the food at the restaurant was excellent. But most importantly, the Staff was simply incredible. I hope that my trips will bring me back to the Alsace, if this happen, I will book there again on a heartbeat.

14/06/2026: I've been a customer since you opened, but last night wasn't my lucky night. Part of the restaurant was booked for a private event, and as a result: - most of the dishes on the menu were unavailable - once our order was received, one dish was missing, and we were informed that it couldn't be served... it was pasta... We expressed our disappointment to the waitress and the manager. We were offered a complimentary aperitif, but unfortunately, this gesture, while appreciated, wasn't enough to make up for our disappointment. It would have been helpful to have been informed beforehand that the beach was reserved, and perhaps you shouldn't have accepted any additional reservations on top of a large event...

13/06/2026: I love this place, everything is perfect! The beach is magnificent, the water is always beautiful, the service is incredible, the staff are so kind, the value for money is just amazing, the sunbeds are comfortable, and the food is delicious. It could use a little more music, but if you're looking for a quiet place, this is the perfect spot!
