22/09/2026: Thanks to McDonald's St. Serge, when I was just a little kid, I often ate there, especially the famous McChicken with delicious fries and crushed tomatoes. And after that, what did I do, you might ask? Well, I'll tell you, I went to play my best soccer games! But that was a long time ago now (sad smiley). Anyway, tonight I ordered a McChicken and I was served super fast, it was like Mbappe was in the kitchen, it was so quick! The person who took my order was super fast and efficient, like a real speed demon, and the waitress was also super fast. Anyway, back to my story: I sat comfortably in a white armchair fit for the greatest kings of France, I unwrapped my McChicken and a delicious smell of lemon and chicken wafted up to my nostrils. So I decided to take a bite and... A wave of nostalgia washes over me (scoring a goal in the clásico in 4th and 5th grade, my first dates, my parents, saying goodbye to my football club...). The burger I ate wasn't just a burger, it was the story of my life. Thank you to the whole McDonald's team for giving me this experience.

30/08/2026: In the main square of Saint-Julien, a very charming place with plenty of outdoor tables. Simple and informal, with fast and very friendly service. Very reasonable prices.

30/08/2026: A pleasant discovery of a very clean hotel, very welcoming, comfortable room with very good bedding, the bathroom and air conditioning need updating, with the possibility of dining, region to discover: SAUMUR and its surroundings, a good address for a stopover before discovering the southwest region or another region.

03/08/2026: A really nice restaurant, which I would describe as almost gourmet! We ate very well and the food was exquisite. The staff is pleasant. The setting is calm and intimate, the terrace nicely shaded by greenery. Definitely worth a try.

16/05/2026: A place where good food is present in every dish. The manager provides friendly service and cooks all the meats over a wood fire in the fireplace—a true delight. The chef's skillful touch in the kitchen elevates the ingredients, and the warm atmosphere encourages natural conversation with your fellow diners. A truly excellent place! 💕💗

07/09/2026: I often buy matcha there. The owners are super welcoming and the matcha is some of the best I've ever tasted + cheaper than other places I go!

31/08/2026: Cosy little café with very fair prices and delicious tiramisu. It’s hard to find a simple place like this without all the trendiness these days. If I lived nearby I would probably visit a few times every week.

29/08/2026: Very cute bistro with pavement tables. Welcoming and friendly service. There were only about five options on the menu (which I take as a good sign) and the food was delicious. We’ll definitely come back.

23/08/2026: Expensive like everything else around there, but good food and a good atmosphere

14/09/2026: The roasted camembert was grainy like they massively overheated it or refridgerated it after cooking it or something and the top chewy and weird. The pork pluma was a texture out of a catering holdover. We got served stale bread in addition to not stale bread. Our desserts took like a half hour after the main. They gave us water for the table, took it away presumably to refill it, and never brought it back. This place was weird. They seemed to very much have cooked a lot in advance and not done a good job reheating it. I get that restaurants rarely make everything from scratch when ordered, but this was like school cafeteria level.

14/09/2026: Visited twice during our stay. I had the sea beam both times, and my wife had the duck and the pork. Overall a good quality meal at a reasonable price. Quality of service and meal was consistent in both meals.

13/09/2026: We arrived late, and the maitre’d watched my partner arrive barefoot before putting her heels on. Reception was, at first, cold but they warmed to us after a bottle of Tissot and permitted our intermittent cigarettes between courses. My poor French didn’t help, but I came for one thing; the cooking. Two bites into the brain and I was ready to call it my best meal in Paris. Two courses in and I wanted to kiss the maitre’d with my hands in his slicked-back hair, and the chef as well. There was love all around us — in all the couples sharing mouthfuls, and in the familial relationship of all the staff. I thought about asking if they took lodgers. We loved the large fish sculpture on the wall. At the bar sat a man reading Kitchen Confidential alone. I loved him too, but didn’t have the heart to say. I heard violins at dessert, and spent the remainder of the night in a drunken bliss. Today, we will climb the steep steps of Sacre-Couer to repent for our sins.

19/08/2026: The 'surprise' menu was perfectly balanced in terms of flavors and dishes, and it accommodated our dietary restrictions. It was delicious!

22/08/2026: A delight! We were passing through the area and were looking for an authentic Asian restaurant, and this one was the perfect choice. A warm welcome, genuine kindness, and friendliness were on the menu ☺️ My pho soup was delicious, and so was my partner's; the main dishes and side dishes were excellent as well. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, and if we're ever back in the area, we'll gladly return to eat here.

27/07/2026: Was itching for a bowl of pho which is not always an easy find in France. Man did Ha Tien deliver! The soup was well balanced with a flavourful broth accompanied with a homemade siracha(!) on the side. Recommended.

27/06/2026: A very pleasant surprise during our walk. A warm welcome, everything was fresh and homemade. A large, air-conditioned dining room allowed us to cool off. I highly recommend it.
