03/06/2026: Fantastic stay! Atmospheric room, comfortable bed, and a bath. (Didn't use the bath, it was a hot day). Do ask at reception if the air conditioning can be turned on. The location is so beautiful and the surroundings are amazing too. Real "old-fashioned" French cottages surrounded by multicolored fields. Plenty of bird sounds. Truly relaxing for walking the dog in the area. A really dog-friendly hotel; the food and water bowls were already set out and there were also biscuits for the dog. He felt very welcome.🐾

18/05/2026: A superb experience this Sunday at Domaine de Clairefontaine! We came to celebrate two birthdays and had a truly memorable day. Everything was perfect: from the incredibly warm welcome to the impeccable service, not forgetting the delightful coffee break in the sunny park. Thank you to the whole team for this wonderful time together. We highly recommend it!

Next time better read! • Tiny bathroom without a clean mirror • Located on Mèze’s busiest street (noise and fumes if window is open) • Not suitable for guests with mobility issues • No outdoor lighting at night when returning

07/12/2025: Impeccable service and welcome. We opted for the €34 set menu (starter, main course, dessert). A major drawback was the portion sizes, which I found far too small, and the presentation of some dishes (garnishings placed under the meat or fish), which detracted from the value for money. It was also chilly in the dining room when we arrived.

24/05/2026: A truly authentic place, dare to push open the door to find genuine dishes. Well done to the lady for managing the dining room and the service. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

25/05/2026: Over an hour for a delivery that should have taken 10 minutes, and not just once... They regularly forgot baguettes or sauces. The meal was decent enough, but it lost all its flavor after waiting so long!

21/05/2026: 1 hour and 50 minutes for delivery via Uber Eats… unacceptable. If you can't fulfill orders within a reasonable timeframe, simply stop accepting orders. Very disappointed.

25/05/2026: Dinner this Saturday evening. The set menu is very expensive for what you get: €13.50 (a small chicken escalope, fries, and a chocolate cone). The cutlets were very average, undercooked, and the sauce was tasteless. The biggest downside is that you're charged for the mayonnaise and ketchup. Okay, it's listed on the menu, but it's the first time I've seen that in a restaurant. The owner was rather unpleasant when I took the bill, very surprised when I asked for it...

24/05/2026: If you want a pink duck breast, this isn't the place to go! We ordered a rare/pink duck breast from the waiter, who took our order... No further details were given. The plate arrived: the duck breast was way overcooked! We told the waitress that this wasn't what we ordered and sent the plate back to the kitchen. She returned immediately, explaining that it was impossible to have a pink duck breast, only well-done ones, because it was cooked sous-vide and precooked. Personally, I've never experienced such explanations in a restaurant before. A huge disappointment!

16/05/2026: My partner and I had dinner at this restaurant. Honestly, it was a very good experience. The food was delicious and the service was very fast. The staff was very attentive, which was very pleasant. I recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

26/05/2026: An unacceptable experience. We waited over 30 minutes without being served, and no one came to inform us or even take our order properly. A complete lack of organization and consideration for customers. Making people wait so long without any response is disrespectful. Very disappointing; we will not be returning.

10/06/2026: My Uber Eats order was stolen today. I'm trying to contact the restaurant for help because I had to reorder for €40. I'm disgusted. The cashier told me there was nothing they could do for me, even though I order from this restaurant 24/7. I'm going to report it to the manager. A bit disappointed.
