In the evening, there are even more choices, with service worthy of the "bistronomy" label. On top of all that, the staff is absolutely lovely. Both professional and incredibly cheerful, this atmosphere makes me want to return often. They offer excellent wine recommendations, whether to complement your meal or simply enjoy a glass. It's a real pleasure to have this restaurant in Daumesnil! 💌

06/06/2026: The supposedly original dishes aren't all that original. The price is particularly high for cuisine that isn't very original. On the plus side, the service is quick and pleasant.

01/04/2026: Extremely aggressive waiter Avoid at all costs! Regarding your response: I sat down with a friend and then went to the restroom. When she came out, she told me she wasn't feeling well and wanted to leave. You aggressively demanded 2 euros to pay for your restroom, which I paid. As I was heading towards the exit, you started addressing me informally and followed me outside, trying to intimidate me in front of your restaurant by repeatedly saying "there's a problem" just inches from my face. So yes, aggressive and avoid at all costs. Keep your culinary "experience" to yourself; the human experience was more than enough for me...

11/06/2026: amazing location in 11th century buildings with terrace with view of local cathedral and surrounding hills and mountains. Food was exquisite as was the service.

22/05/2026: A very chill, authentic, and delicious little neighborhood restaurant. I've been here about ten times now, and it's become my go-to spot on Fridays. They have a small selection of dishes, which I appreciate, and I've never ordered anything I didn't love. Special mention to the sesame dessert.

31/05/2026: We are frankly disappointed by BLZ pizzeria. We ordered several pizzas, unfortunately the last order was a disaster. One of the pizzas we ordered had a grilled cricket under a piece of cheese. 🤮We went to tell them and they claimed that we had added it after purchasing it and stuck to their opinion. They offered us a pizza for the next time we ordered a pizza (which never happened after the incident) instead of refunding us.

19/05/2026: We came here on a recommendation. Unfortunately, we can't share the enthusiasm. The staff's welcome was rather cold. My husband only wanted two scoops of ice cream (which were offered on the menu), and the server explained that he could get them outside the café. However, they only had soft-serve ice cream from a machine. He ended up just having coffee. I ordered a kind of Swiss roll from the counter. The sponge was either stale or that's how they bake it there. In any case, it wasn't fluffy. The filling could have been Nutella. The whipped cream came from a can. The selection at the counter was mainly focused on salads and various cookies. It's a shame; we expected more from a traditional patisserie.

05/05/2026: The initial welcome was friendly, but as the meal progressed, this became less so, bordering on rudeness... disappointing. The food was very good, but the portions were disappointing (the caillette was a small dumpling cut in half, accompanied by 4 or 5 small new potatoes), and there was an enormous salad to fill the plate 😡😡😡. Still hungry, we ordered a plate of local cheeses, which were placed on the table without any explanation of the varieties... we felt like we were being treated like clueless tourists 😤😤. So, very disappointed, which is a real shame because the village itself is exceptional!
