26/05/2026: A very good restaurant with a warm welcome as soon as you walk through the door. The service was top-notch, especially with Cindy who was very attentive. The dishes were perfectly balanced, and the dessert (a pavlova) was simply amazing! What more can I say? Sublime... All my guests (there were over thirty of us) unanimously loved it. I wish the new owner all the best. I highly recommend the restaurant "Le Fil Rouge".

18/05/2026: Restaurant Pizzeria at the lighthouse, the only one left! We've been coming for several years and it's always great. Tip: book ahead. When you arrive, they offer you a digital or printed menu—the choice is yours! We opted for the digital menu, which was quite nice with photos and the daily specials.

31/05/2026: Hello, this is my first time going there for Mother's Day today, and one thing is for sure: I'll never go back. The set menu (starter, main course, cheese, and dessert) was €30 for that particular day, which I thought was reasonable for what was offered. For my starter, I had the foie gras and toast, for my main course, vol-au-vent, the cheese plate (two pieces), and dessert. However, I didn't eat the main course (vol-au-vent) because the sauce tasted more like wine than coq au vin. The service was incredibly slow. We arrived at noon and left after 3:10 PM… and barely ate anything. At one point, I even wrote down the desserts I wanted to give them to because the wait was over an hour. Even someone wanted to order coffee, but they changed their mind because it was taking so long! Furthermore, when the dish arrived, we didn't see any side dishes, neither on the plate nor on the menu, so we thought, "Damn, we're really going to starve!" (Just kidding, we said, "It's okay, there's McDonald's next door.") So, as soon as the waitress (or manager, I don't know her life) brought the rice for the vol-au-vents, I said, "Ah! Phew, we were already complaining!" She had the nerve to slap me on the shoulder. Two members of my family were shocked! When she came back, I told her, "I don't accept her slapping me!" She apologized, yes (twice), and thank goodness! She told me it was friendly... lol. I told her I wasn't her friend or family, that I was a customer! What is the world coming to?! Unacceptable The coq au vin was served with dry, tasteless "roasted" potatoes that weren't even roasted... anyway! When my brother went to pay, she apologized for the slap, and he pointed out that it wasn't the only problem, giving examples (like the service time). She replied, "Well, it's not a big deal, you can go to another restaurant next time." He told her that, unfortunately, yes. It's worth noting that when we made the reservation, this was the only restaurant available nearby because someone was on call in the area due to their job in private practice. But pasta with butter at home would have been better! On a positive note, the homemade foie gras was very good, and they were polite.

18/05/2026: The staff is very friendly and welcoming. It's true we were disappointed with the pizzas; they tasted quite good, but the toppings didn't stay on the dough, they just slid off. Maybe it was the tomato sauce or the crust being too thin, I don't know. I think there must be better options in the area. But the staff is still great.

08/05/2026: I can confirm the pizzas are delicious: the crust is thin and crispy, cooked in a wood-fired oven! The pizzas are topped with quality ingredients in generous portions for very reasonable prices. The best part is the divine homemade tomato sauce—not acidic at all! The owners are incredibly kind, always smiling and full of energy! A big thank you. Jérôme from the 59 (Nord department).

28/02/2026: Hello, we chose the €31 set menu with foie gras and chicken in a pot. The foie gras was of poor quality, probably a budget option. As for the chicken in a pot, it wasn't a real chicken in a pot at all, but rather a chicken boiled in a pot of water. It had no flavor and lacked tomato sauce. 🍅... It's a shame that the restaurant Chez Oliver next door is closed, or perhaps the former owners of the Henri IV could show them how to make it properly. Unfortunately, there are very few restaurants left where you can enjoy a good chicken in a pot, and you have to go a bit further from the château. The dessert was satisfactory.

26/02/2026: The staff were polite, but the atmosphere was icy upon our arrival. The restaurant was too small and very drafty (I thought I'd eat with my coat on), so we could hear conversations from other tables. We ordered salmon tagliatelle (the fish was undercooked) and flank steak with shallots (cooked rare, but the meat arrived cold). Only the fries were edible. The glasses weren't very clean (they could have used a little more washing).

02/03/2026: Extremely disappointed to feel ripped off when the set menu is €24 and the final bill is €90... for two people! There was no receipt to tell us what we were paying for. We were offered a cocktail without being told the price, and when we asked for something else because it was too strong for my taste (I only took a sip), we were charged for it anyway... not very customer-friendly! There's no transparency regarding prices. The food was good but the portions were small. There were no vegetarian options! We didn't feel any generosity in the welcome or the service. We were left without bread and weren't given a carafe of water... what a shame!

09/05/2026: We came to this café for a family drink; we didn't have the chance to eat there, but judging by the dishes and the menu, everything looked very good. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food. We'll be back to try their menu. The staff is very pleasant.
