03/09/2026: We eat lunch there regularly and are never disappointed! The food is delicious and well-prepared, with very pleasant and welcoming staff. In the summer, the terrace is particularly lovely, quiet, and in a relaxing setting. We highly recommend this place!

17/07/2026: If you're passing through Fontenay-le-Comte, a lunch break is a must at Le Relais restaurant. Delicious homemade food, served with a smile and a friendly atmosphere with the regulars. Highly recommended!

29/07/2026: A really sweet and helpful owner. She helped us a lot with calling the garage after we had a breakdown with our car. It is a somewhat dated hotel, but the beds were comfortable and it was very clean.

26/07/2026: If you are cycling through Normandy this is a great option in Saint Lo. The new owner is extremely kind and helpful. It is a convenient location with secure bike storage and the owner went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. She even washed our water bottles. Most hotels don’t have such service minded staff and this owner is doing it all on her own!

15/08/2026: So, I don't know if it's changed owners or not, it's not my problem, but in any case, when I pay for canelés, I expect them to have flavor. These taste like just plain batter, they're not good at all. I bought 12 today. The staff—well, it's August 15th, after all—they're all scowling, it's awful. It's like a factory, one person takes the orders, another handles the till, and they're all rushing to make money, money, money, money, money. And frankly, there's not a hint of flavor. The service was terrible, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

28/09/2026: This small, almost hidden restaurant immediately won our hearts. Delicious cider and lovingly prepared dishes made us linger and enjoy ourselves.

15/09/2026: We went there for a drink and a crepe, it was great! The atmosphere is amazing. We had a drink in a little alley, and a super delicious crepe. I highly recommend it!

07/09/2026: Three years ago, I would have given it 5 stars... but the attention to detail, the food, and especially the service have declined somewhat, more or less depending on the day. While the cuisine is that of a classic Parisian brasserie and quite pleasant, avoid the veal Milanese—the worst I've ever had. Otherwise, especially in good weather, the location is fantastic, rather quiet, and the wine cellar is excellent.

06/09/2026: Nice location. Dinner was below average. We have had much better food in Paris. Margaritas was good.

25/09/2026: Slow service, arrived at 12:30 and only got one dish, but didn't even have time for a coffee despite two reminders... AND ABOVE ALL, the pigeons invading the terrace, or rather, the roof of the terrace... At the end of the meal, there were two pigeon droppings on the table...

21/09/2026: The food was excellent; we thoroughly enjoyed the kidneys and beef cheek. Aperitifs and wine were served at the perfect temperature, which isn't always the case in other brasseries. Only the service could be improved. I recommend it for the food.

10/09/2026: Lunch right at the foot of the Sorbonne dome, in the very center of the Place de la Sorbonne. Imagine Sartre and de Beauvoir walking right past you. Guess who walked right where you placed your foot 😍

18/08/2026: Nice bar with good products. The patio is a nice bonus. The only downside is the waiter who acts like a gangster in the kitchen behind his counter in the left-hand room. He doesn't know his products, uses a condescending tone, and is arrogant.

02/03/2026: We discovered Domaine de l’Est d’Estagel thanks to a gift voucher we received for Christmas and used this weekend as a couple. We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, and we received a very warm welcome from beginning to end. We will gladly return to try it for lunch, as the setting looks even more lovely during the day!

17/12/2025: Review of the restaurant only. Weekday lunch. Generous portions, decent atmosphere and service, prices are average. Well-prepared and tasty Alsatian specialties. The beckaoffa and the bouchée à la reine are worth trying. Returned in early December 2025 for dinner. It's really good.
