26/03/2026: This is the second time I've ordered takeout from Franchine, and I have to admit I don't really understand the hype around this restaurant. The first time, the samosas were crumbly and tasteless, and the second time I ordered a tray of shrimp in spicy sauce (not spicy at all), and 10 shrimp in a tray for two people is hardly enough. Furthermore, the prices are really too high, especially considering the poor quality.

22/11/2025: A delightful surprise! A charming little hotel with old-world appeal, very comfortable, impeccable service, helpful staff, and a very generous breakfast... Ideally located just a few minutes from Sarlat. We would definitely return!

10/08/2025: A very pleasant discovery. The quality of the meat and charcuterie was excellent. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. This discovery was all the more enjoyable because it's located nearby, and I had never had the opportunity to know about it before.

01/03/2026: We can't say anything about the restaurant service, it was exceptional! I feel sorry for the staff, as they were very helpful and kind. It seems like there are two separate departments. But the room! You shouldn't be allergic to dust! On the other hand, the bathroom was very clean! The hotel is a bit dated. We found stains on the sheets! We do recommend the restaurant, though.

13/01/2026: A very good gourmet restaurant that deserves 5 stars. Excellent tasting menu. Pleasant and efficient service. Congratulations to the Chef and his team. Nice, modern decor which contrasts with the hotel, which is a shame. The rooms need a complete renovation, hence the one-star deduction. They still feel like they're from the 90s. On the other hand, the bedding is good and the surroundings are quiet.

19/05/2026: Great restaurant on the port of Carquei, very good food and pizza, and a very friendly and professional team with a convivial atmosphere.

17/05/2026: Excellent place. The wood-fired pizza was very good. A little more topping would have earned it a fifth star. A nice touch: the delicious black olives offered as an appetizer.

28/11/2025: We've been going to this bar for four years now. We have some good times there; the decor, the music, and the menu are sure to please. But that's without taking into account the appalling atmosphere among the staff. For the past few months, every interaction with the servers feels like talking to a prison guard. A simple smile would be appreciated. We're filled with dread every time we walk in: the certainty of receiving a greeting in return vanished long ago… Perhaps they should invest more money in team-building days or simply start therapy among the colleagues so that the customers finally stop suffering from this atmosphere…
