07/06/2026: This hotel from this chain is fantastic in terms of location, but less so in terms of rooms and abominable in terms of service! The front location was an ugly box-like building with an unsecured parking lot that wasn't big enough. Certainly not during peak season. The reception was astonishing… a “manager” yelled at his staff in front of the guests. 😱 Unacceptable! The rooms were disappointing. A view of a roof, no water as a welcome, no shower gel; the beds were good. The kettle had to stand on the floor because the cord is too short to put it on the desk. The chambermaids were nice; one of the receptionists (a slim lady) was very helpful. The air conditioning broke down, so we were given another room (twice), and the last time, the receptionist on duty was tapping her fingers and saying: Depeche TOI!!!! I have to go back to the reception 😱 so bad!!! The breakfast was fine! But the dinner… oh my… so bad. Apart from the piece of meat or fish we ordered, the garnish was exactly the same: pommes Anna, a smear of sweet potato, and some vague jelly-like vegetable pudding or something... in any case, yuck, yuck, yuck. The beautiful photos on the website, oh, oh, oh, how fake!!! Service extremely unfriendly. Anyway, I'm done with this place; we are never coming back, even though our expectations were high. Such a shame. People, learn from this... it will help you...

07/06/2026: The room was very disappointing; there was no bottle of water upon arrival, which we did receive at much lesser hotels, and the staff was unfriendly. A man behind the bar was downright rude. The food was decent, and the view was beautiful. In everything, you can tell that this hotel lacks passionate staff.

08/05/2026: First and foremost, I must emphasize that the food was delicious. Excellent value for money, the meat was cooked to absolute perfection, as was the fish, and the portions were generous and beautifully presented. On that front, there was nothing to criticize: the serving plates were spotless, and the work in the kitchen truly deserves praise. Unfortunately, if only the serving dishes could live up to the quality of the food coming out of the kitchen… Wine glasses with visible marks from previous customers, water glasses in the same condition, a stained white napkin (changed only after request), and then the final shock: after drinking my tea, I discovered that the large cup it had been served in was still dirty from the previous service. Inside, there were caked-on coffee residues. I simply ran my finger along the cup to remove them… and from that moment on, I was completely disgusted to the point of stopping drinking. Being in the industry myself, I know very well that before putting a cup in the dishwasher, a simple wipe with a sponge prevents exactly this kind of situation. A simple, proper polish, especially with white vinegar as is done in many establishments, also prevents visible marks, deposits, and residue on glassware and dishes. However, the most disturbing aspect wasn't the mistake itself—it can happen anywhere—but the way it was handled. Throughout the meal, I said nothing about the glasses so as not to create unnecessary awkwardness. I simply asked discreetly for the stained napkin to be replaced. I waited until the end of the meal to calmly and quietly mention the various problems encountered, when paying the bill, precisely so as not to embarrass the establishment in front of the other customers. The waiter even admitted that it was indeed traces of the previous coffee and that the usual procedure had clearly not been followed. Despite all these inconveniences, I left a tip because, once again, I know this business and it's inconceivable for me to leave without one. However, seeing the servers snickering together at the counter afterward because I had complained about the cleanliness of the dishes was deeply inappropriate. I, too, could have made a scene or publicly humiliated the establishment. I chose to be respectful and fair to the very end. What a shame to take a respectful customer for a fool. Besides, I don't usually leave negative reviews, even when there are minor issues or service errors. We're all human, and it's part of the job. But here, it was primarily the condescension of the waitress and waiter—and I want to emphasize that this absolutely does not apply to the trainee, who was perfectly polite—that deeply bothered and humiliated me. I always spoke respectfully, calmly, and discreetly. Perhaps there was a particular hostility towards Parisians; I don't know. But in any case, a customer who remains polite and considerate despite this kind of unpleasantness should never be ridiculed. The experience will therefore remain very mixed: excellent food, but unfortunately, the handling of the dishes and the customer service were not up to standard. Thank you in the kitchen, great discovery.

13/05/2026: The restaurant was decent. The waitress was very friendly and did her job very well! The charcuterie platter was uninteresting. The main courses were quite good. However, I ordered a glass of 16-year-old Lagavulin (the glass and price were listed on the menu), but I was served an 8-year-old instead… I asked the person behind the bar for an explanation, and he told me that's just how it is and that he wasn't the one who did the shopping… There was no gesture of goodwill or price adjustment (so I paid the price of the 16-year-old for the 8-year-old)… It's very unprofessional and doesn't encourage me to return, unfortunately.

02/05/2026: We organized a family meal for a special occasion, and everything exceeded our expectations. The choice and quality of the dishes made for a truly enjoyable experience. A special thank you to Gregory, who helped us prepare the meal beforehand and delighted all our guests.

02/06/2026: Absolutely fabulous food and service. The escargot and french onion soup were delicious along with the fillet of boeuf and the fillet of pork. Couldn’t recommend this place enough along with the attentiveness of the owner herself. Best meal we have had in Nice!

05/04/2026: Once seated, barely two minutes later, the waitress arrived and mumbled, "What would you like?" A lamb skewer couscous. On the plus side, the meat was good. However, the vegetables and sauce were tasteless (I wonder how they manage to make such a bland dish). The semolina was quickly cooked and indigestible. For the first time in my life, I didn't finish my plate.

01/10/2025: A wonderful experience: a superb restaurant, a terrace with a magnificent view, and the added bonus of great music: in short, a place worth discovering. As for the food: excellent (I recommend the gourmet coffee). It's a shame we're leaving for the mainland today, otherwise we would have come back. But we'll be back next year.

06/06/2026: We had a wonderful time at L’Horloge. Impeccable service, a smiling and attentive waitress: everything was perfect. We ordered tapas, and they were excellent. The homemade teas, mmm… a real treat! I highly recommend this establishment and we will be back very soon. Myriam and Mehdi

05/04/2026: So disappointed 😞, not friendly at all, whether it's the person making the crepes or, even worse, the servers. No smiles, no friendliness. Sir, you should change careers if retail bothers you, because everyone feels it. They make mistakes every time we order, which is a shame, and on top of that, they complain. Go somewhere else because they don't respect their customers and don't clean the tables after each customer. The same goes for hygiene with the crepes. The person making them (bald) touches everything, touches their nose, and handles the crepes with their hands. What a shame!
