13/09/2026: I'm changing my opinion 6 years later...it's not what it used to be at all...you'll have to get back to basics quickly or you risk not lasting

13/09/2026: A truly mind-blowing taste experience. Honestly, I don't even know where to begin, I was so blown away. The burger was simply incredible. The patties were smashed to perfection, with a beautifully seared crust on the outside while remaining juicy and incredibly flavorful on the inside… absolutely insane. But what really struck me was the harmony of flavors. The cheese, the caramelized onions, the mushrooms, the meat… everything was perfectly balanced. No single ingredient overpowered the others; everything complemented each other, and each bite was perfectly balanced. You can tell there was real work put into creating the burger, not just a haphazard collection of ingredients. Even the homemade fries were perfectly executed: cooked just right, not greasy, with a really pleasant texture. It's rare to eat something and immediately think, "OK, they've really done a fantastic job here." And that's exactly how I felt. I can still think about the taste of the burger after finishing it; the whole experience was so memorable. A true culinary triumph. Well done to the whole team, you really nailed it. ❤️

26/07/2026: Fantastic welcome and delicious food for a low price. 18 euros including unlimited starter, main course, dessert and a drink. I highly recommend it.

21/03/2026: Ideal hotel with a fantastic restaurant. We had booked the suite. Very large room with a large bathroom and separate toilet. There is no elevator, so you shouldn't have mobility issues. The restaurant is fantastic. We chose the most extensive menu with the wine pairing. Fantastic. Breakfast was very extensive and of extremely high quality. We will go back here next time. The very large garden is very beautiful, and you can have breakfast or dinner outside there in warm weather.

23/08/2026: On Saturday, August 22, 2026, we had the opportunity to dine at La Margelle (3 people). The food was excellent (the pistou soup was delicious). The staff were friendly and attentive. The prices were very reasonable.

06/08/2026: Avoid at all costs!! They try to give everyone a job in a village, but this is ridiculous!! 52 minutes for two pizzas, disgusting and expensive. They told me 25/30 minutes. Okay, I didn't order, I waited. The man who ordered after me got his pizza in fifteen minutes. A table of four arrived, served before me, 52 minutes later, the pizzas arrived. With the courtesy of a prison guard. Anchovy pizza: I looked for the anchovies. Second pizza: meh. €24.50. I'll go to a restaurant next time. Never again. I don't have anything to teach anyone, but a smile doesn't cost anything…

12/07/2026: I've had the pleasure of having lunch and dinner there several times. I highly recommend it because the food is homemade, the hamburgers have a unique touch with their super soft buns, and the pizzas are delicious. The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. I received a warm welcome in a wonderful atmosphere. The desserts are made fresh on-site... Don't hesitate!

03/08/2026: I regularly get Too Good To Go baskets from this pastry shop, and it's always a real treat. The pastries are excellent, fresh, and always delicious. And on top of that, the owner is lovely, very kind, and always smiling. A real pleasure every time I go. I highly recommend this pastry shop.

Nicknamed "The Sugar Genius" in the upper echelons of pastry, Laurent Petit has been delighting us for many years with unwavering consistency and brilliance... everything from the shop to the welcome (masterfully handled by his "Sweet Bomb," Corinne...) the products (the best flan I know) and the value for money... originality and diversity... it's flawless for Maison Petit... A huge congratulations and more, more, more...!!!!!!!!

12/09/2026: We came about three years ago and were very disappointed at the time, both with the food and the service. We decided to give it another try… and what a pleasant surprise! 😍 This time, it was nothing like our first visit: the service was impeccable, the welcome warm, and the food truly delicious. The portions were generous, the dishes beautifully presented, and everything was perfect from start to finish. It just goes to show, sometimes you have to give things a second chance! We're delighted to have returned and now wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. 👌✨

13/09/2026: Having come from Paris for a short day trip to St Cyr, I chose L'Albatros for lunch and it was excellent. The bavette steak was truly delicious and the waiter was very friendly and professional.

An equally well-deserved thank you to the chef for the delicious and beautifully presented dishes. A place I highly recommend!

03/10/2026: Not much. With a poorly organized staff.

02/10/2026: Still as delicious as ever. The leek and salmon quiche was a delight. The pastry was very thin and flaky, with a perfect balance of textures. The flan was amazing!! And the crumble was just as good. Of course, I highly recommend it!

05/10/2026: Had our morning coffee here while we were in Paris for a couple of days. Sat at the front and watched the world go by! Great service and chat to improve our French and to learn a bit more about the what was going on. Even ran out of cigarettes and as it was Sunday (all Tabacs shut) and we were given a couple of rolled cigarettes from the owner!

27/09/2026: At 6:20 PM, we arrived, just the two of us, simply to order a coffee each. Our order was refused on the grounds that after 6 PM, customers were required to order "large drinks." Fine, everyone applies their own rules as they see fit. But the real problem was the absolutely deplorable attitude of the person who greeted us: no sense of service, no effort to find a solution, and above all, the very clear impression that they were simply trying to get rid of us. Two customers who come in for a drink shouldn't feel like they're bothering anyone. If serving customers for two coffees has become a problem, they might as well close the doors at 6 PM rather than treat them with such disdain. A truly bitter experience. We won't be going back here.
