As a retired restaurant owner, I found it very pleasant to eat in the shade of the trees.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would definitely go.

26/09/2026: Extremely disappointed with my meal here. I ordered a steak, but what I actually received was basically just a regular burger patty. To make matters worse, the meat was absolutely swimming in a pool of grease. The fries weren't any better - they were soggy and literally dripping with oil.
08/09/2026: Amazing food, great location, and a super cozy outdoor seating area under the tent! All the essential facilities are there, including card payments and a restroom. The only detail that could be improved is the cutlery, as it looked quite old and needed a good polish. 🤣 But overall, the vibe was light and the meal was delicious!

11/09/2026: The shop is large, has its own style and charm. I think everyone will find a souvenir here, among the clothes, homewares, toys, and stationery accessories. The high prices were a barrier for me. :/ There's also a café.

05/09/2026: We thought the food was pretty good. However, on a busy Saturday night there was only one person waiting the tables, so with the best will in the world the service became extremely slow. We waited a long time, as did others who came in throughout the evening.

10/09/2026: I hadn't been for two years, but the opportunity arose. I wasn't disappointed; the Neapolitan pizza was excellent, with a delicious tomato sauce. No complaints except perhaps for a waiter who was a beginner and not quite "experienced."

The service is incredibly gentle and warm, and the coffee is excellent.
You absolutely must stop by.

I grabbed my things and left, thinking, "Damn it..."

27/09/2026: Had a weekend in Calais with my family, came here for breakfast. And I can say hand on heart that every single thing we had was amazing. Panini's a burger and a cake all exceptionally good. If we end up in Calais again sometime we will be back here for any meal of the day.
