03/10/2026: Today McDonald's closed its doors around 1 p.m., claiming there were too many people and they couldn't serve them... in fact, there were hardly any customers, just not enough staff or staff who didn't want to work, so they banned customers and blocked access to the drive-thru. It's definitely getting worse and worse in Fontenay-le-Comte. When it's not the food being cold or the double McChicken and Fish burgers being only single burgers in the order but charged double, this really needs to change...

24/05/2026: This Burger King has gone downhill and is quite sad for a city center location. The place is cramped, the tables are covered in leftover food, the floors are dirty and poorly maintained, and the trash cans are overflowing; finding a halfway decent table is a miracle… And I wasn't even there during peak hours, so there were only a few customers. And while I was there, no one bothered to clean the tables, floors, or trash cans. As for the table service, not a single greeting, the tray was practically thrown at the table. I ordered a coffee with churros, so half the coffee spilled on the tray. And not a word of apology. I don't want to make a scene, but I certainly won't be coming back. And given the poor quality of the food, that's probably for the best.

23/05/2026: This burger joint is the best in my city (Nancy). Besides being inexpensive and right in the city center, it's really great! I highly recommend it if you want to enjoy a delicious meal there!

27/08/2026: I had been having lunch regularly with my colleague at this restaurant for two years, and it wasn't bad. In May, after lunch, we both got sick that evening. We hadn't been back since. Last week, we ordered two veal escalopes. The texture suggested the meat wasn't good, so we each took a bite and sent the plates back because the taste was so awful. We were given two new plates, which we ate. We were both sick that evening; my colleague was sick for two days, and I ended up in the hospital on an IV drip. What's unacceptable isn't so much that the meat was faulty—that can happen, but it's usually thrown away—whereas here, it was served to us. The cook clearly realized something was wrong, if only because of the tough texture and the smell the meat must have had before cooking, because even when cooked, it gave off a slight odor. This is inexcusable; people die from food poisoning. I'm sorry, but I have to make a health report.

31/05/2026: I just had lunch there: grilled octopus tentacle. It was truly excellent, tender, flavorful, cooked with candied peppers and garlic powder, the fries were perfect, the service was quick and appropriate for this type of restaurant... with the glass of red wine, even the coffee was top-notch, it was a great time!

12/09/2026: Excellent service—if the goal is to send customers away. The waiter was sitting around doing absolutely nothing, checking his phone and laughing with his colleague at stupid videos. When I called him over, he told me the kitchen was still closed, even though the restaurant was clearly preparing and serving orders to delivery drivers. When I asked why he was lying to me, he suddenly had nothing to say. Of course, it is easy to turn customers away when it is not your own business or your own money. I hope the owner soon realizes that this employee is actively costing the restaurant customers.

05/09/2026: After a good first experience, I returned to Grazie with visiting friends and it was a disaster. Every stage of service, from being seated to getting the bill, was drawn out and slow. Our server was inattentive, distracted and disinterested. After the first course we waited almost half an hour for our main course, and then the server came and asked if we wanted dessert. Our main course had been completely forgotten. When it arrived, it was undercooked— it seems it had been made hastily. Even though all of these delays were not our fault, we were made to feel even less welcome as the staff began to stack chairs around us as we waited for our forgotten food. I’ve never experienced such a difference in two successive visits to the same restaurant. I was really embarrassed for having proposed it.

07/08/2026: A quintessentially Parisian spot, just the way we like them, with food loved by both customers and staff. Delicious, simple dishes like we wish we could find more often. And the restaurant's atmosphere is truly authentic.

09/07/2026: This is one of those quintessential Parisian places I return to every time I'm in Paris. The interior is cozy and charmingly old-fashioned, with the kind of timeless atmosphere that's becoming increasingly rare. The welcome is always warm, the service impeccable, and the food consistently excellent. On a hot summer day, the cold beef salad or the steak tartare are perfect. What makes it even more special is the conviviality. The staff are wonderfully kind, and even the fellow diners seem to add to the welcoming atmosphere. Already looking forward to my next visit.

23/09/2026: A little reminder that won't hurt the staff: being friendly is free. The only redeeming quality of this bistro is that it's the only one nearby, and that won't be enough to make me go back.
