25/09/2026: Gros is no more, and it's truly sad. This iconic restaurant, where people used to come for a starter, main course, dessert, and a little Calvados to enjoy with a (or more) good bottle of wine, is now just a shadow of its former self. The restaurant is gone: now, you nibble on small plates to share while sipping a glass of wine chosen from a rather expensive, even prohibitively priced, wine list. In short, Gros has become a simple bar with a terrace. While there's certainly been an effort to improve the quality of the food, it's such a disappointment to see the spirit of this place disappear.

24/08/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times now, and it's always a real pleasure! 😊 Everything is perfect: a beautiful terrace, a pleasant setting, a great atmosphere, and above all, staff who are always welcoming and attentive. A special mention to Mr. Sébastien and Ms. Chloé for their kindness, professionalism, and good humor, which make every visit even more enjoyable. Always top-notch, I'll definitely be back! 👏

22/08/2026: We had lunch on the terrace. It was very pleasant. The set menu (main/dessert) was €23, which I found a bit pricey. The service wasn't perfect. We had to wait for bread, and my dessert was mixed up with the others. Not a big deal, though, as the other dessert was also good. The main course was very good. A quality restaurant overall. The service just needs some fine-tuning.

15/09/2026: We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Le Rapp in Colmar. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great kindness and professionalism. We were even given the opportunity to use the pool before our check-in time, a very thoughtful touch. We were also pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to an elegant, beautifully decorated, and exceptionally comfortable room. Breakfast was a real highlight: a generous and varied buffet featuring delicious fresh, local products. Everything was perfect for starting the day off right. A big thank you to the entire team for their warm welcome and attentiveness. We will gladly return and recommend this hotel without hesitation.

13/09/2026: Good welcome, very good breakfast, parquet flooring would be better than carpet in the rooms, a parking discount is needed when there is no space for people sleeping at the hotel, well located.

The dishes were delicious, generous, and full of flavor, made with high-quality ingredients. 🍝🍕 I also really appreciated the very pleasant atmosphere, as well as the staff, who were lovely, welcoming, and attentive. A true little escape to Italy for the duration of a meal 🇮🇹 I highly recommend it!

30/08/2026: An excellent restaurant in Carquefou! La Vespa des Halles offers generous and delicious cuisine in a friendly atmosphere. The dishes are well-prepared, the ingredients are high-quality, and the service is welcoming. A pleasant restaurant where you're sure to have a great time. I highly recommend it! Special mention for the takeaway pizzas!

17/09/2026: A restaurant at the foot of the ramparts where we enjoyed Breton specialties! We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who made this Breton evening as pleasant as possible! No hard feelings about the onions ;)

16/09/2026: Beware! The Chef's XXL Burger only has buckwheat seeds as decoration, even though the menu states buckwheat bread. A bit of a rip-off. When we pointed this out to the waitress, she aggressively replied that there was buckwheat in it, even though there were more poppy seeds on the bread than buckwheat. The bread is just plain white.

05/10/2026: I'm the Brazilian review you're looking for. If you're looking for a coffee shop with fair prices and good service, this is the place. We found it through Google and it was an amazing experience. The staff are helpful and polite, they speak English fluently, the croissant is very pretty and also very tasty. I plan to come back many more times!

04/09/2026: The crepes were very generously filled and absolutely delicious! I love French cuisine, especially crepes, and these were a real treat. The staff were very welcoming and friendly; it's a place not to be missed for a great meal. I'll definitely be back.

26/07/2026: The gentleman, who was of a certain age, gave us a very pleasant and helpful welcome. However, I wasn't impressed with the galettes, which were dry and uninteresting for the price. We were disappointed... a shame.

14/09/2026: Hotel stopover for work (Ibis Styles). I ate very well, the service was like in a Michelin-starred restaurant, and the price was very affordable.

22/08/2026: We received a very warm welcome for lunch at 3 pm! We had called ahead to make sure they could accommodate us. Our table was set when we arrived. A friendly chat, smiles, and good value for money. We highly recommend it.

07/08/2026: We went there for lunch in July. Our reservation wasn't taken into account, and we felt like we were bothering them. We went back that same evening because no other restaurants were open in Thones. The service was very different and much more pleasant. The two waiters were very kind. A nice touch was the biscuits and bowls of fresh water for our two dogs. The food, although simple, was very good. We'll be back!
