29/01/2026: I ordered a kebab, and for me, that's lamb or garlic, but they served me chicken with white sauce. It wasn't what I expected; it was missing some ingredients. But hey, in France, it's all a mess; they don't know what a real kebab is. So, chicken and bad sauce it is. It's because of people who don't know, so it's always profitable to make a kebab this way. So, given the French people's lack of knowledge, don't be surprised to get this... Next time I order, I'll ask for a real kebab, and if I don't get what I want, I won't go back. I'd advise against going there for those who don't know what they're doing, and for kebab lovers who know the ingredients, to really ask for a proper one.

31/05/2026: Since we stayed at the neighboring hotel, we always had our breakfast and a nightcap here and felt so comfortable that we didn't feel the need to go to any of the nearby cafes. The staff were very friendly, the food was good, and the atmosphere was unique. We'd love to come back.

25/04/2026: I went to Paris in April 2026 for a school trip. On the second day, we needed to get lunch, and my friend and I found this lovely little restaurant on the Place de la Sorbonne. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted very warmly and shown to a table. The interior was beautifully decorated with mirrors and a large bookshelf, so I immediately felt comfortable. It didn't look anything like the gloomy photos online, as it had clearly been renovated. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering its location in the heart of Paris. We shared a very large portion of pesto pasta, which also came with some baguette and mini pretzels, and we each had a "small" Coke, which was actually bigger than what we consider an XXL Coke back home. The total bill came to €30.90. The service was friendly and attentive from beginning to end. I highly recommend this restaurant.

28/05/2026: Fantastic restaurant! The owner very kindly agreed to accommodate our group of six bikers despite a large reservation of 50 covers. We ate outside, in the shade of the linden trees, facing the church in Châtel: a truly lovely setting. The owner is friendly, humorous, and very welcoming. The service was excellent, and the promised wait times were respected. As for the food, everything was delicious, with a nice touch of originality in the dishes. Excellent value for money. A wonderful place we'll gladly return to… and so will our motorcycles!

17/05/2026: As an intern at La Table Alsacienne, I wasn't able to pursue my passion, which is service. It's unacceptable to be yelled at and insulted at an intern doing their first professional placement, constantly mocked for my background, and to have a boss who doesn't empathize with the intern. If you're considering an internship at La Table Alsacienne, don't—it's a disaster!

21/05/2026: Note about the restaurant (didn't try the hotel). Very warm, friendly, and professional service. Reasonable prices, and board games suitable for children to keep them entertained while they wait. The food is quite good, with a minor complaint about the beef tartare, which was of good quality but not the best (I'm quite picky) as it seemed ground up and had some irregularities, but it was still more than acceptable (the flavor was there). A little outside the city center, which adds to the peace and quiet (for the terrace) and makes parking easy (free).

10/06/2026: What happened? I came a few years ago and it was pretty good. Now it's bad, even suspicious. The buffets are empty. It's overpriced for food that's barely defrosted. Never again...

14/06/2026: Lunch on the terrace for a real holiday feel. Very friendly staff, keep up the good work. Ordered: 3 Brasseurs salad + 3 Brasseurs poutine, 1 Sprite, 1 Aperol, 1 beer of the day. Desserts: chocolate mousse, 'C'est trop choux' (It's so cute!), and coffee.

11/06/2026: Really disappointed. Over 45 minutes wait for a half-cooked salmon and fries, a burger and fries, everything barely lukewarm, not even a carafe of water. When I paid, I told the waiter, and nothing was done, not even an apology. I won't be going back. What a shame.

01/06/2026: What a disappointment the food was! The octopus starter was incredibly rubbery, the black rice with lobster bisque was extremely bitter and inedible!! We asked them if they'd tasted it, and they said no, which made them seem offended. The foie gras was just okay, and there wasn't even any special bread to eat it with. And the rhubarb for dessert was undercooked!!! For the price, I absolutely do not recommend it; it was very disappointing :(. Oh, but the cocktails were excellent 😂
