28/09/2026: We discovered this restaurant completely by chance and we were delighted! We were returning from Italy to Bordeaux. We arrived a little late for lunch and were served with a smile. The kimchi was perfect! We had the beef and pork BBQ; it was really delicious and excellent value for money. 👍

My wife, who is learning Korean, was able to chat with him. A very fond memory. Thanks also to his wife who prepared a delicious meal for us.

10/08/2026: A super friendly welcome from the owner/chef... who gave excellent wine recommendations, especially since it was market day... and the tapas menu was enticing. I tried the beef and zucchini carpaccio, and I have to say, with this heat, it was a real treat to eat it cold. It was so delicious that I ordered a second helping! I highly recommend it! Go for it! Plus, when young people embark on the challenging restaurant business, we should encourage them! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

25/08/2026: We received an extremely warm and welcoming reception (we were hiking in the heat). We were able to enjoy the amazing outdoor jacuzzi. Dinner was excellent and breakfast was very good. We highly recommend it for a quality stopover!

05/08/2026: Nice stopover on the way to Périgord or Basque Country. Outdoor entertainment for kids (mini golf, tennis court, small pool) and very nice restaurant. Great service

19/08/2026: A small, family-run Charolais inn nestled against the church in the heart of the village. Pleasant terrace, large and beautiful dining room with a fireplace. Excellent market menu. Varied and very affordable à la carte options. Traditional cuisine. You might be tempted by the homemade nougat glacé. I highly recommend it.

26/07/2026: How can you explain the positive reviews when a reservation for a group of 50 people in the evening goes so disastrously? The portion of frogs' legs got smaller and smaller as the meal progressed, accompanied by greasy, overcooked fries. Several people weren't even served any fries. Only one drink per person, and the service was mediocre at best, all for €27! Shameful! And this restaurant owner has the nerve to contact the person who made the reservation for the group to complain about a bad review left by someone else. You refuse to accept criticism, sir, and you don't respond to negative reviews. Avoid this place at all costs!

12/09/2026: Just popped here for a couple of pizzas - great find if you are staying in the area and want a really good, freshly made wood fired pizza. There’s a good few seats inside and outside though we got take out. There’s was a family here eating and the salads look great too.

06/09/2026: We ordered four pizzas. The pizzas were very thin with very little topping. As for the Landes pizza, we're still looking for the pieces of duck breast. It's a shame, we won't be back.

20/09/2026: We are three couples of motorcyclists and had a fantastic time. The welcome was superb and the atmosphere great! Very friendly and the food was delicious! We highly recommend it.

27/09/2026: I've been a regular at this restaurant for 26 years. I highly recommend it; for me, it's the best Chinese restaurant in the region, including the Pays de Gex, thanks to the quality and freshness of the food, and the kindness and cheerfulness of the hostess. And the prices are more than reasonable.

02/08/2026: As a Chinese customer, I felt unwelcome. Unfortunately, that's the impression I was left with from the experience. I stopped in Bellegarde to catch a connecting train and wanted to eat at a Chinese restaurant. Upon entering, I spoke Chinese to the owner, but she pretended not to understand. Yet, Chinese music was playing in the restaurant, and she insisted on speaking to me only in French, with a strong Chinese accent. My train was leaving an hour later. I asked her if I had enough time to eat. She replied that she would have to ask the chef first, that they were very busy and weren't sure they could prepare a dish, suggesting I get takeout instead. However, there was only one other table occupied in the entire restaurant. I explained that I could eat quickly and, if I ran out of time, take the food to go. Despite this, she seemed very reluctant. Without a word, without even looking at me, she simply gestured towards a table. Faced with this attitude, I didn't feel welcome and ultimately decided to leave the restaurant without eating.

02/09/2026: Absolutely top-notch! 👍 Everything is excellent: pizzas, burgers, mussels and fries... Always prepared with care, using fresh, high-quality ingredients, at reasonable prices, and this has been the case for several years! Nothing has changed. A truly exceptional restaurant that deserves far more than 5 stars! Certainly one of the best in the region, if not beyond!
