Les meilleurs restaurants

12/05/2026: We were spending a weekend with our family in Niederbronn and decided to eat at La Romaine on a whim, as we didn't know the town at all. We had a wonderful time with our children: the portions were generous and delicious, the prices quite reasonable, and above all, the welcome was warm. We were immediately made to feel at ease and served with good cheer all evening. If we ever come back for another holiday, we'll definitely eat there again.

30/04/2026: A lovely, cozy family restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. It felt like a living room. The owner was super friendly and hospitable. Our dog was also very welcome and even got water and biscuits. The food tasted good. The fries were amazing. It wasn't expensive either. We had a lovely evening. Definitely recommended. Do check the opening hours carefully, though!

09/06/2026: Nothing exceptional, good but nothing special. A bit cheaper than the competition. The waitress was very nice, but I found it regrettable that she refused to let me sit on a booth (even though I explained that I had back problems), because she "couldn't afford it at that time," as if she had a lot of reservations. In fact, there was practically no one in the restaurant that evening.

29/05/2026: Awful!!! Eating on the terrace—if you can even call it a terrace!!!—looks more like a garbage dump all around!! And to top it off, an employee was cleaning a freezer in a trailer with bleach, just 3 meters from our plates!! And to make matters worse, a cook came out of the kitchen in a pitiful state, his shirt and pants filthy!!! I'm really disappointed because we've been customers for over 6 years, and also at the bodega in the Mondeville 2 area, since they're owned by the same people. Personally, I'll never go back to either restaurant!

19/05/2026: A magical setting and delicious, authentic, homemade cuisine. When you see the restaurant and its decor, you're in a completely different world. What a wonderful surprise!

01/06/2026: We received a very warm welcome, the service was efficient, and it's the food that makes the trip worthwhile, in addition to the view. The mojito was fantastic, the homemade calamari fritters were delicious—even my wife ate them, which she doesn't usually like—the pork was incredibly tender, the fish was cooked to perfection, and the desserts were sublime. We have absolutely no complaints; keep up the good work!

31/05/2026: A fantastic restaurant! After a terrible experience at one of the fancy restaurants at the end of the pier, despite having a reservation, we arrived at almost 2 pm and were immediately greeted with a smile. We were seated, our order was taken very quickly with a smile… and the food? Divine! Excellent mussels and fries with small, local mussels, excellent pizzas, and the dessert of the day: a strawberry Melba with magnificent, abundant fresh strawberries (and I mean that literally). We'll be back in a month without hesitation! A small, unpretentious restaurant that has a lot to teach the big names!! Congratulations!

22/06/2026: Takeout order for 12 people: absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend this restaurant. From the initial phone call to the order and pickup, everything was perfect. Everyone, young and old, thoroughly enjoyed it. The salads and pasta dishes were generous portions. The food was prepared very quickly without compromising on quality or presentation. A big thank you! We'll be back when it's cooler to dine in.

17/05/2026: Lovely room overlooking the patio, very quiet, nice decor. The patio and outdoor pool are very pleasant and have a cozy feel! Good breakfast. The restaurant offers good quality food. The staff is welcoming and friendly! The only slight drawback: the parking lot has narrow and limited spaces. I recommend it!
