Today, we wanted to take a few minutes to say thank you. Thank you for your smile, even during the busiest times. Thank you for your good humor, your patience, and your energy. Being a server isn't just about bringing dishes or taking orders. It's about running from the beginning to the end of service, managing stress, meeting each customer's expectations, keeping a smile on your face even when you're tired, and continuing to give your best. 02/08/2026: Hello We had a good meal. There were two of us, and we ordered the burger with cheddar sauce and chorizo, served with fries and Maroilles cheese sauce (the taste was different and it was just okay), plus a pint of beer and a cheese plate for dessert. Despite this, since the change of ownership, the atmosphere isn't the same, which we regret. It's more commercial than the family-friendly place it used to be. The prices have skyrocketed, even for the children's menu (€8.90). Furthermore, we went there in March, and I've since lost almost 400 points. It feels like we're being ripped off. We'll go back to give it another try.

25/10/2025: A great seafood restaurant right on the harbor with a lovely atmosphere. We visited twice for dinner and were very satisfied. A friendly welcome and a great menu. The second time, the service was a bit slow and not as warm and welcoming.

16/09/2026: I absolutely loved this wine bar. They have a wide selection of wines and offer excellent advice. The sharing plates are delicious and perfectly portioned, both in quality and quantity. The value for money is fantastic, and there's a lovely atmosphere both inside and on the outdoor terrace.

09/09/2026: Prices up, portions down, and appalling service… A huge disappointment for this restaurant, which we used to frequent regularly. The portions have clearly shrunk: €27 for a particularly meager plate of pasta. We trusted the waiter to choose a glass of wine each, without being informed of the price: €8 for one, €13 for the other, which we only discovered when the bill arrived… Our dishes were also served at least 15 minutes apart, leaving one of us waiting while the other ate. And, to top it all off, a particularly unpleasant waiter who preferred to blame us rather than apologize. Obviously, we won't be returning.

17/06/2026: Honestly, first and last time I'll order from there. The spring rolls and noodles were disgusting. The dishes ended up in the trash whole after one bite.

18/05/2026: For my first time ordering, I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the boat for €68 with skewers. Everything was really good; the salmon and tuna slices were generous. I wasn't disappointed at all; everything was delicious. I would recommend it.

08/09/2026: A warm welcome from the lady who seems to run the restaurant single-handedly. Excellent value for money and some vegetarian and vegan options. Special mention for the falafels and the foul. Delicious.

25/07/2026: Whenever I go to my parents' house in Livernon, I get two or three pizzas from them. The pizzas are good, but the owners don't seem very friendly, especially the man. But oh well, I don't have much choice but to eat there since there's not much else around.

01/10/2026: This is unacceptable. You're eating in front of what's supposed to be the kitchen, and the waiter is making comments. Regarding the restaurant's ludicrous response: I never said I came on a Sunday. I don't know why you're mentioning that day since I came to eat on Thursday, September 24th, at noon. I spent €11.90, and I'm specifying this amount because I almost spent €2 more (!!!) due to a double bill. Furthermore, I did indeed eat in front of a half-open door to a so-called kitchen that looked more like a storage room. Finally, I don't think there are two Kim Lai restaurants in Bayeux, so I wasn't mistaken. That said, your response is entirely consistent with your behavior towards your customers, and given the arrogance of your reply, I wouldn't be surprised if you were my "waiter."

06/08/2026: Had a delicious meal! Friendly staff who speak good English. Prepared quickly and not expensive. Highly recommended for a tasty quick bite.

01/09/2026: The dumpling soup broth is incredibly spicy and delicious. The Jajangmyeon is Chinese-style, but it has a saltier flavor than the Korean style. It's tasty, but the dumpling soup is so good that I think I'll order it again next time. Highly recommended!
