07/06/2026: We booked two balcony rooms facing the sea at the end of May. A superb family-run hotel. The restaurant is excellent, with superb home-style cooking. The welcome was fantastic. The beach opposite the hotel is magnificent. We had a very pleasant three-day weekend.

26/05/2026: We didn't stay at the hotel but came for dinner on the rooftop. A superb evening! Despite the crowd (it was fully booked), the staff was fantastic: attentive, friendly, and efficient. There were five of us at the table, and everyone was delighted with their respective dishes. A limited menu, a testament to quality, and a real mastery of cooking techniques—simple yet delicious. The view is stunning, and there was a wonderful atmosphere that evening. Thank you and congratulations on your enthusiasm!

28/06/2026: I stumbled upon this place by chance and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food at a reasonable price. Lots of locals, which is always a good sign. The kitchen is open to view; it's family-run, and I'd gladly return.

23/05/2026: A complete work of art. At lunchtime, a diverse crowd gathers, from American tourists to French tradesmen. The chef works tirelessly in full view of everyone – the kitchen is visible – processing the orders. So it can take a while. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable, as the atmosphere was excellent. The food is solid. The service was efficient but friendly and efficient.

09/08/2026: 15.50 euros for a Reine pizza is really too much, even in Haute-Savoie. The crust is good and thin, but the topping is made with cheap ingredients that don't justify the price. The staff were friendly.

14/09/2026: During our stay, we stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance and ended up dining there three times in a row... The food is excellent. A real treat! In addition to the delicious food, the owner is an open, warm, and welcoming person; it's a real pleasure to chat with him. I recommend trying the lemon cream and their frangipane. Thank you for these wonderful moments and lovely conversations.

11/09/2026: A little disappointed with my salad, and for dessert, the Breton far was a very small slice, but it was very good.

03/10/2026: Fantastic restaurant! Excellent service! Dogs are welcome, and a bowl of water is brought without even asking. The pizzas are delicious. This was our first restaurant upon arriving at our holiday destination, and also our last before hitting the road.

09/09/2026: They told me they were out of kebab bread after I'd paid. I complained, and they finally found some bread anyway 🤨 The meat was burnt, black in several places, and there was white sauce mixed in with the ketchup on my fries. Not a great experience.

29/08/2026: the staff were friendly and helped with my poor French. It was August and they even gave me a free drink due to heat. The food was fresh and tasty, the owner was upbeat. I’d return to try more of the menu

05/09/2026: The salad, ordered as a main course, wasn't fresh and this was pointed out. Aside from a "Sorry," there was no further feedback. The salad was still charged. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

04/10/2026: A terrible chain restaurant for a Saturday night, overpriced for what it is, extremely noisy, and our waitress clearly wished she were somewhere else. You have to call four times to make a reservation just to get through to the person who actually has access to the booking system... In short, there are much better options nearby! Three years later, in 2026: It's still just as bad: service, prices, quality, cleanliness. A complete disaster.

26/05/2026: We had a wonderful family holiday with our children. The welcome, the quality of the food, and the setting were truly outstanding. I also had the opportunity to enjoy a massage with Cristina: a truly relaxing experience. She is very attentive, gentle, and caring, and she was able to relieve my tension, allowing me to fully unwind. A big thank you to Cristina and the entire team at Maison du Val for this lovely stay.

20/05/2026: I booked a table at this establishment on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, for brunch with my wife (€55 per person). We were received in a very friendly and professional manner by the staff. The buffet was generous and varied (with unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks). The buffet was of very high quality. The chef was very friendly and approachable. The only drawback was that there was a company seminar taking place, so we were seated in a small, intimate, and period-style room. However, we were in the passageway leading to the seminar room. We were disturbed by the constant coming and going, the loud music, and the speeches of the participants. At times, some seminar participants were using inappropriate language among themselves as they left the room. We were also unable to take advantage of the library and the dairy. The premises are historic and very charming. All of these factors spoiled our visit.
