28/06/2026: I don't recommend this place despite the very pretty setting. We ordered a half-bottle of wine, which was served warm... After waiting for over 50 minutes, we finally received our food. Two Truffades (a type of potato and cheese dish) were really mediocre, to say the least, and far too small. In the end, we left without dessert, still hungry, and having spent 70 euros on half a bottle of (warm) wine and one Truffade for the price of two. My clumsy criticisms clearly didn't sit well with the waiter, who insisted his wine came straight from the cellar (at over 30°C?). In short, I won't be going back and I advise against going there.

21/06/2026: Friendly welcome. Avoid the truffade; it has no flavor and the charcuterie is low-quality. A shame, because the setting is nice.

08/07/2026: Excellent place, impeccable service and good prices. The octopus tentacles are highly recommended, a real treat.

06/07/2026: The meal was okay. We went back for a drink, and the waitress told us we'd have half an hour because they were closing after. She came back barely 10 minutes later, insisting we leave with a drink to go... she kicked all the other customers out in a rude manner. The atmosphere was awful.

28/05/2026: Super friendly service, good food, fantastic atmosphere (exactly what I wanted). It was sparsely populated at 1 p.m., which was pleasant. They didn't have the paella I wanted, so I opted for the excellent fish and chips (fried fish fillet, chips, salad). They brought me a large carafe of water without me even asking. The coffee was superb. The bill was so low, I could hardly believe it. That left more for the tip.

03/05/2026: Visited this Saturday, May 2nd, 2026. 5-star welcome, spotless, and you can even eat on the floor! My photos speak for themselves! As for the meal, the food was high quality and quite substantial, and the menu perfectly matched the order! The staff at this restaurant were incredibly kind and attentive. I will definitely be back! I highly recommend it! 5 stars. Reasonable price! 😀 A starter, aperitif, two drinks, main course, dessert, and coffee: €80-90. At the moment, that's not a rip-off. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Thank you for your kindness and, above all, your helpfulness and attentiveness. See you soon!

28/04/2026: Ar c'hig-bevin mogedet trugare braz. At Google's request, I'm adding and modifying my review to provide more details and increase its visibility. So, the burger we ate was crispy, and the ground beef inside was finely ground and tender. The service was very simple and guaranteed to be quick because I was starving. I was served and barely ordered dessert because the appetizer was already fantastic, and the burger—I can't quite remember what it was called—was very filling. As for the clientele, nothing suspicious, no identifiable cliques, no vegans trying to sell us their soup, claiming meat is bad, and no crepe or cider vendors during the meal—in fact, there was no suspicion about the other diners. I felt respected by the others when I picked up my fork to bite into the amazing burger, and everyone else did the same. There was a good atmosphere, even if no one left as friends or holding hands. Respect was the norm, people were friendly and peacefully enjoying themselves over a good piece of beef. No one bothered you, to put it politely. As for the decor, well, I liked it. It's a bit edgy, flamenco-inspired, black and red—perfect for me. I don't remember the music. The restrooms had toilet paper, a flush, and handwashing facilities. I didn't visit the kitchen; it would have been inappropriate since I was a customer. But if Google had asked, I might have complied by being a bit insistent with the owners, who probably gave me strange looks, but oh well... So, in my opinion, Google should ask us mere mortals to continue pushing the boundaries of the review process and going into even more detail. For example, Google should ask if the water is fairly clear or not clear enough when you're about to wash your hands. This might allow you to suspect something that doesn't exist, but would suggest something that people would then look for and suspect. Getting back to the restaurant, well yes, I recommend it if you're crazy enough to read this far. Don't be ridiculous, I gave it 5 stars.

Aurélie and Natacha gave us an incredibly warm welcome 😍 We tried other starters, main courses, and desserts 🤤 and, unsurprisingly, EVERYTHING was delicious ☺️ Fresh, high-quality ingredients, expertly prepared by the chef and served with a smile and good cheer 🥰 An excellent establishment that has become our culinary headquarters for getaways in your beautiful region 👌🏻 Our next treat is planned for June 🤤🤤🤤 Thank you for these wonderful moments 🙏🏻

16/05/2026: We were very disappointed during our visit. The frosty welcome and the waitress's behavior set a very unpleasant tone for our meal. The manager clearly didn't understand customer service. As for the food, it was completely unsuitable for the price: the dishes served were of very average quality for such exorbitant prices. Méribel's reputation doesn't justify such blatant neglect of customers and the quality of the food. Despite being regulars, we won't be returning.

16/04/2026: We come in summer and winter, and throughout the seasons, everything is always perfect! The staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Whether with family, friends, or as a couple, I always have a wonderful time! As for the tables, it's hard to rank them, they're all excellent! Thank you, thank you to the team!

03/06/2026: I gave this place 5 stars 5 years ago. I'm revising my rating to the opposite extreme because the quality has slightly decreased, while the prices have skyrocketed. I understand there's inflation, but €14 for a classic taco meal is really unacceptable when it's €10 everywhere else. €12 might be acceptable, but €14 is a whole other level. A basic, simple taco, but with little filling and really dry. As a regular customer, I'm disappointed and won't be back until the exorbitant prices come down.

15/01/2026: Review for Le Petit Pêcheur restaurant before the change of ownership: The staff is friendly but a bit quiet (sometimes better than overly talkative people). The complimentary amuse-bouche was delicious. The presentation of the dishes was exceptional, a feast for the eyes, then a delight for the palate! The place could use a real refresh, both inside and out. Special attention could be paid to cleaning (dirty and peeling door frames, cobwebs on the entrance door...).

08/06/2026: We celebrated our wedding at L'Evasion. A dream come true! If you're looking to celebrate anything, don't hesitate. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, and the food was simply divine. Thank you!
