17/09/2026: Let's be frank: the owner is nice, but the young woman who serves is cold and never smiles. The escalope with cider sauce is good, but the pâté is definitely best avoided because the eggs are completely dry and look questionable. The price for two people: 2 starters 1 Orangina 1 sparkling water 2 appetizers 2 main courses (escalope with cider stew) 2 floating islands (not homemade) 1 coffee All for 59 euros. Go and see for yourself. Personally, I would avoid going there. Sorry for this review, which may be disappointing.

27/09/2026: Run away, you bunch of lunatics! This restaurant is disgusting, the food is inedible. The service is awful. There are so many good restaurants around Place de la Bastille, so stay away!

27/09/2026: They cancelled our reservation when we arrived without any prior notice or anything. This is absolutely unacceptable!

09/10/2025: We spent the night of October 8, 2025, at the Benat Hotel in Anglet. A wonderful welcome from the owner, who waited for us even though it was supposed to be closing. The room is small but spotlessly clean, with a small but adequate bathroom, a TV, and a super comfortable bed. The toilet is on the landing, except for a small downside, but for one night, it's not a big deal. A nice and pleasant breakfast. What can I say? 15/02/2026: I came to eat for Valentine's Day, from the starter to the dessert, including the main course, it was really very good and I received a very warm and family welcome from the lady 🥰.

15/09/2026: The food leaves much to be desired. First visit, dessert was supposedly homemade: fruit salad. The result was a canned fruit salad with a few pieces of watermelon added. Second visit, the daily special was no longer available at 12:20 PM. The blanquette was offered, but some pieces were cold, and the sauce was just juice. The chocolate mousse for dessert was spoiled. It was hard and had mold underneath. Avoid at all costs.

09/08/2026: Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed the meal served in a very friendly and family atmosphere. Everything is homemade, which I love. And the price is more than reasonable.

24/08/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! A disastrous experience from start to finish. We ordered two pizzas for delivery for around €65, and frankly, at that price, we expected better. The pizzas arrived completely burnt, to the point where parts were inedible. And the worst part? When we contacted the restaurant to request a refund, they refused, despite the state of the pizzas. €65 for two burnt pizzas and no solution whatsoever… It's clearly outrageous. I understand that mistakes can happen, but refusing to make any concessions when the order is so clearly a failure is unacceptable. First and last time.

21/08/2026: One star because I can't give less. Dirty (tables, floor, toilets, clogged sink, overflowing bins...). Staff?!?!? Strange. Never seen anything like it. Left empty-handed.
