30/06/2026: A huge thank you to Terrasse de Tabor for their kindness and hospitality! During the heatwave, just as I was about to buy water for my children to cool off, the staff spontaneously offered us water free of charge. This simple yet incredibly generous gesture touched us deeply. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and pleasant. This is the kind of establishment that truly stands out for its humanity and welcoming spirit. Thank you again for your kindness; we will cherish the wonderful memories of our visit!

21/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! The terrace is fantastic and the welcome was incredibly warm. The waitress was just so friendly. The food was delicious. For a village, the salads were a bit pricey, I think—a little more expensive than in Strasbourg. But it was good.

I just had to postpone my appointment at 11 o’clock this morning (30 mins from now) and they were totally cool and super helpful and allowed me to postpone it to tomorrow same time. This kind of service and flexibility is so rare in France and will make me a very loyal customer for a long time. Merci et a demain!

14/06/2026: Food is not of high quality, the mussels were not fresh and not well made. The paella was a disaster. Not recommended at all, it’s very commercial. Better go for another restaurant not by the marina.

08/06/2026: Honestly, the food was good, but the service was awful. We waited two hours to be served. I'm a restaurant owner, but that's not how you do business in the restaurant industry. We paid €78 and we're still hungry. Thanks a lot.

19/01/2026: This was a great find as we enjoyed the Mille Feuille (wonderful cream) and the pistachio tartelette with raspberry. The prices are so reasonable. There is one table to sit which was available for us. Very nicely decorated. The lady was so sweet: very open and spontaneous.

27/06/2026: Hello I just left this restaurant. Cold welcome, waitress didn't smile. She told us to take any table, we sat down and she came to tell us it wasn't possible. We ordered two pizzas, the dough was hard to cut and undercooked. I don't recommend it.

26/06/2026: Hot drink, cold pizza... The mushroom pasta was industrial, but the mushrooms were really poorly selected. 19 euros for this is rather shameful... A real shame, no effort was made at all...

10/03/2026: The 20% discount on TheFork led me to discover this restaurant, and I was very pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. The staff is friendly. The food is refined; I had the fish and chips and I don't regret it at all! In short, with the discount, I think the value for money is more than reasonable, and the setting is ideal for a quiet, intimate meal.

18/10/2025: Everything is homemade. The owner is genuine and welcoming. The three-course meal (starter, main, dessert) offers excellent value for money. A great place to eat when passing through Cognac.

24/04/2026: A wonderful romantic experience. Authentic setting, clean room, and excellent breakfast and restaurant.

13/04/2026: A very nice establishment. The staff are attentive and responsive. The half-board option is excellent value for money.

26/06/2026: After making a reservation in advance, we were seated in a terrible location where food service went by. The host - an older, balding gentleman, was extremely rude to my mother and tossed menus at her. When I asked why we couldn’t sit at a better table, the host switched to French, explained to me in French that it was “reserved” and refused to speak to us in English again. Unfortunately for him, he did not realize that we understand and speak French and know well how rude it is to continue to speak in French in that context. We promptly left as there is no need for rudeness. Please also note, they advertise air conditioning, but it is not really there. Avoid unless you’d like to be treated poorly.
