17/09/2026: We went to dinner with family. The setting is nice, the decor is chill, it's just a shame it's right next to the road because it gets a bit noisy when there's traffic. The food was fine, but nothing exceptional! As for the service, a small positive point for the waitress who was smiling and welcoming. However, the manager who then took care of us made some misogynistic comments about his waitress (and women in general…), followed by borderline racist remarks, which he repeated every time he came to our table, under the guise of humor of course, but it didn't make me laugh at all; on the contrary, it made me feel very uncomfortable.

08/09/2026: Excellent value for money; it's a truck stop frequented by many workers, which explains the generous portions. It's not quiet, but that's not a problem. I highly recommend it.

20/08/2026: A great spot on the way to the beach. Fresh ingredients are prepared on-site. The kitchen is open to the dining area. There's a pergola on the terrace during the season.

14/09/2026: Without a doubt, the best value for money in Caluire. Homemade cuisine, a daily special, and a lovely menu. Very efficient and quick service, and to top it all off... always with a smile.

14/09/2026: A truly wonderful and delightful discovery at "Chez Mémère Harlé." A first visit that will surely lead to many more. We had booked for four people for Sunday lunch. The only option was the set menu, "Le Menu Traditionnelle." Wow! What a surprise! From the starter (tapioca velouté) to the dessert (the renowned Papin tart), and including not just one main course, but several! (Tongue with tomato sauce and assorted vegetables in broth), (slices of leg of lamb with flageolet beans and potato gratin), excellence on every plate! A flavorful and generous menu. The tureen was overflowing with velouté, and the various dishes were served in platters with incredibly generous portions! An "old-fashioned" meal, delicious and very hearty, which delighted all four of us. A place like this is a rare find these days. I almost forgot... the small cheese plate that arrived before we even discovered the famous and generous Papin tart. Pure bliss! What a truly gargantuan meal! For an aperitif, the small slices of pizza were a welcome change from the usual offerings. Two "amuse-bouches" per person, served warm and very pleasant. The value for money is surprisingly good, considering the traditional menu. The service provided by Madame was very professional, pleasant, and friendly! We will definitely be back to discover and enjoy other items on the menu. The reputation of "Chez Mémère Harlé," justified in its time, is just as well-deserved today... the next generation has been well taken care of! Thank you for this wonderful experience. 26/07/2026: Once was enough. The waitress was very nice, but the meal wasn't great. The pie was barely cooked, not what it used to be, and the cleanliness wasn't up to scratch. The price remained the same.

20/09/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS... NO HELLO, NO THANKS, NO GOODBYE, AS FRIENDLY AS PRISON DOORS. ATTEMPTED SCAM ON MY WINNING TICKET WHEN I HAD WON €20 ON A SCRATCHCARD. HE CLAIMED I HAD ONLY WON €5. AFTER I TREATED TO CALL THE POLICE, THEY IMMEDIATELY PAID THE €20 I HAD WON. APPARENTLY, THEY DO THIS ALL THE TIME.

14/09/2026: A warm welcome from both the staff and the cook. Good, hearty food. Everything was perfect! I highly recommend it.

10/09/2026: Simple and delicious. The Niçoise salad had good tomatoes, good tuna, and anchovies. The quiche was very good. Wine by the glass was €6. We really need more restaurants like this: fresh ingredients and great taste.

15/09/2026: Disappointed, we ordered a Lyonnaise salad and received a Caesar salad instead... The waiter only realized this well after serving us. Luckily, we didn't have any allergies. The portion was very small for the price. We asked for sauces but never received them, so we served ourselves. It was very noisy.

28/08/2026: Passing through town, we stopped at this small, artisanal bakery and pastry shop. Beautifully laid out. Very clean. The staff was very pleasant and smiling. Freshly squeezed orange juice. Espresso served with little chocolates. This bakery is located across from the beach. I recommend it 1000%!

22/08/2026: 2024 - I stopped by after a surf session around 11:15 and ordered the Full Brunch. It was delicious, generous portions, and a great variety of items. Thank you so much, I'll be back! 2026 - I had brunch again after an early morning surf session, still very good and top-notch. Thank you!

06/07/2026: Lovely woman, but the food was absolutely terrible. The taco chicken just contains a chicken schnitzel... lots of cheese, just really gross. The Caesar salad was also disgusting. I wouldn't subject anyone to this. Stay away from here. The toilet stank terribly.

03/09/2026: Far from great, thanks for staying late, but if you're not in business school, it's best to avoid it. The beers aren't very good either (+1 for the friendly servers).

14/09/2026: Very good, however, I was a little disappointed by the meat- and fish-free options; only pizza, no sandwiches or quiches. The desserts and pastries were good.

10/09/2026: As a long-time customer, I've unfortunately noticed a significant decline since the recent change of ownership. The selection has dwindled considerably, and, most importantly, the quality of service is no longer what I used to expect. This morning, I went in to buy a sandwich. The two waitresses were chatting. They watched me come in without even saying hello and continued their conversation. After waiting about three minutes without anyone coming to serve me, I finally left. There weren't any other customers in the bakery. It's truly a shame to see an establishment I've frequented for years lose so much in terms of customer service and overall experience.

16/08/2026: Great bar offering a wide selection of drinks, including craft beers that they offer samples of. This makes it easy to find the perfect beer for your taste. Plus, the atmosphere is pleasant, with darts and board games available, so you won't get bored.

14/08/2026: Great beers, the manager is very friendly. Good music, the place is very clean and well located. Only downside, the chairs aren't very comfortable.

06/09/2026: We've been there several times and it was, as usual, very good and plentiful, even too much so! The terrace could use some sprucing up 🙏
