13/12/2025: A very warm welcome and a delicious meal with friends at an affordable price, plus a lovely decor with a fireplace in the dining room. The service was impeccable; I highly recommend this restaurant.

05/05/2026: We are very disappointed with the new Chabur. The welcome was very cold. As for the food, we were equally disappointed. We ordered the foie gras, and instead of apricot chutney, we were served a few cooked onions, not caramelized ones, without being told beforehand. Then, the meat dishes had sauce poured on top and were tasteless, especially the mussel sauce. For us, it was too expensive for the quality of the food. The chef could be friendlier. We will not be returning.

04/05/2026: A restaurant nestled in the woods where you can enjoy dishes that are as delicious as they are sophisticated. A sure bet for Sunday dining in the Cher region, offering a gourmet menu at a very reasonable price. It's undoubtedly the new Chabur. Well done to the whole team.

07/05/2026: This was the best place on my cycling trip. Authentic, warm, and welcoming. The rooms were charming and inexpensive for solo travelers, and the evening meal... what a treat! With food like that, the restaurant should be packed every night. Thank you to the staff for their kindness and hospitality.

01/05/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant tonight. Everything was very good. The waitresses were lovely. However, the prices are exorbitant considering the portion size. €15 for a slice of bacon, a bowl of white rice, and four pieces of pan-fried carrots...🤔 I was expecting slices of fillet or ham... It's good to know if you're really hungry.

03/06/2026: Concert this Thursday, May 28, 2026! First up was Stan Silver and the Brave Puppies, a trio playing guitar, vocals, bass, and drums—a very effective country rock sound. Then came the virtuoso Uli Jon Roth and his band... what can I say... it was perfect. What an evening in a friendly yet rockin' atmosphere!

10/04/2026: A lovely little Parisian-style café! I pop in occasionally for a morning coffee and croissant when I'm working nearby. The owner is friendly! In short, I like it!

18/10/2025: Everything is homemade. The owner is genuine and welcoming. The three-course meal (starter, main, dessert) offers excellent value for money. A great place to eat when passing through Cognac.

05/07/2026: We came to this restaurant for lunch, we ordered pizzas and they were excellent. Top-notch service and generous portions.

30/06/2026: Uninteresting pizza at a rather high price for what it was. Pizzas were sent out too early (during aperitif time) even though the request had been clearly specified. Despite my disappointment, they offered no compensation when the bill arrived.

15/04/2026: Huge place with so many products to choose from. Great bakery and plenty of fresh bread and cakes. Can get busy at the checkouts but that's to be expected. Definitely worth a visit if you want to stock up on a wide range of goods.

12/04/2026: There's no cashier at the gas station and no way to get help if you want to pay in cash; plus, the diesel is poor quality.

07/06/2026: Beautiful setting, but that's all. Well located, but that's all. The crozets were tasteless, served cold and without sauce. After asking for more cheese since they had no flavor, they came back with a piece of cheese placed on top of the pasta as if I were adding a piece to my child's plate. As for me, the tartiflette was tasteless (very surprising; I wonder how bacon and cheese can be tasteless). The portions were very small, and when the bill arrived, we mentioned this, with the response: "You should have asked, we have plenty in the kitchen." And one dish for 20 euros (I remind you of the dish in question: cold pasta without sauce and one sausage).

07/06/2026: The food was cold, tasteless, and the portions were too small. The manager stood in front of our table, waiting for us to finish. Too expensive for what it was.

10/07/2026: Don't come late. Early is too late. "My manager told me to close the machines early" 😡 So don't come at all, go somewhere else.

04/07/2026: Box of six mini hot dogs. Note that two mini hot dogs count as one regular hot dog. Six mini hot dogs are equivalent to three regular hot dogs, meaning they cost €6 each. Since the box costs €18, it's a rip-off.

18/05/2026: We enjoyed a daily special that was truly excellent. Everything is homemade, and the welcome and service were impeccable. They also have a lovely menu at reasonable prices. Highly recommended, and thank you to the whole team.

11/06/2026: The food was very average for the price. The receptionist, a woman of a certain age, was not welcoming. Beer was €6 - one glass of rosé was undrinkable. This establishment has gone downhill. I won't be returning.

07/06/2026: Excellent meal, smiling waitress, typical Alsatian decor. Feeling very hungry? The portions are generous! More than recommendable value for money. Well done!

06/12/2025: I was peacefully enjoying my coffee when the manager suddenly appeared and rudely told me, "Sir, you need to vacate this table." He only spoke to me, even though there was a woman right next to me with another coffee in front of her. When I asked him why I was being targeted, he had no answer. This will definitely be the last time I visit a café in this chain.
