01/06/2026: Flowers, beautifully illuminated by lamps, graced a gently curved space with understated white walls and a few turquoise accents above the bar, perfectly complementing the wooden tables. I had a delicious trout with plenty of fresh herbs. My wife thought it needed more lemon, but I don't like lemon, and I've never understood this whole thing about always having lemon with fish: I find it overpowers all the other flavors, it makes no sense. Enough with the lemon! Thank you to the chef for not adding any; the trout was absolutely perfect as it was. The service and welcome were excellent.

27/05/2026: Unfortunately the restaurant is not open for food during the hours indicated on Google. I arrived just after 3pm and food options were a cookie and drink. Staff were nice, cookie was fine, but suggest listing is updated.

The Google rating had made us hesitate a bit before going in, but in the end, we had a wonderful time and a delicious meal. That's why I'm leaving a review—something I rarely do—to share our very positive experience. A great place to eat in La Baule.

Beyond the exceptionally slow service and unfriendly welcome, the real problem arose a few hours after the meal: severe indigestion (nausea, stomach cramps, and a sleepless night). This is unacceptable for a restaurant professional and raises serious questions about the freshness of the ingredients and adherence to hygiene standards in the kitchen. In short, a horrible experience and deplorable value for money. Avoid this place if you value your health.

09/06/2026: Looking for a venue to celebrate a birthday in March, without any hassle or breaking the bank... We found an excellent solution at La Table restaurant. Conveniently located, right next to the free parking spaces in the evening, near the Parc de la République, the restaurant offers an upstairs room as well as a terrace. With the lovely weather perfect for enjoying the terrace, the space was just right for our party of over 30 people. From the start, the staff was incredibly accommodating and available. The organization was remarkably simple, which initially puzzled us, but then pleasantly surprised us. A real plus, as we were worried we wouldn't be able to fully realize our vision. They helped us arrange the room to our liking and were very flexible with the decorations. There was a great atmosphere, with music playing loudly and even the staff actively contributing to the evening's good cheer ;) A special mention for Bakari's presentation of the cakes! Thank you to the entire team for their warm welcome, availability, and professionalism. We will cherish the memory!

28/04/2026: We went to this restaurant for lunch with my husband and two sons (3 years old and 7 months old). My husband and I ordered mussels: they were dry, falling apart, and a particularly dark, almost red, color. We obviously didn't eat any and explained the situation to the waiter and waitress, who confirmed that they were indeed overcooked (we think they were probably mussels from the day before). They offered to have the cooks make more for us. We declined for two reasons: our children were getting impatient, and the first batch we received clearly raised doubts about the hygiene conditions of this establishment, which are probably deplorable. To top it all off, they charged us for the mussels. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

28/04/2026: Pleasant location on the port, friendly waiters and fast service, a shame because the mussels marinière were disappointing, with a blotting paper texture and tasteless juice, making you wonder if the mussels were cooked the day before.

08/06/2026: We came as a party of three for a meal at 10:40 PM: three veal Milanese cutlets, a bottle of Côtes de Bordeaux, and two desserts. Frankly, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. But what I want to emphasize is the service. We encountered a head waiter named César, and if I had to give him a score out of 10, it would be a 12. His welcome, service, order taking, and overall table management were all excellent. Frankly, I've rarely seen such a good head waiter. I've been in the restaurant industry myself for 40 years, and it was a pleasure to be served by him. I think it's important to highlight this. 👍
