04/04/2026: The Château-Hôtel de la Rapée is a charming place to stay when visiting Gisors and exploring the Vexin region. We spent one night there and had dinner in the restaurant as a family with our 20-month-old baby. It was a very pleasant stop on our trip. The welcome was very warm, the rooms are very comfortable with excellent bedding, and the chef's cuisine was a delight. We highly recommend this place!

28/03/2026: A truly beautiful establishment: + A magnificent castle, surrounded by nature and bordering a stud farm. Free on-site parking. Very kind and helpful staff. Excellent soundproofing: we returned late without disturbing anyone. Spacious room with an entrance vestibule and double doors. A wardrobe in the vestibule. The decor is distinctive but suits the setting. The bathroom is small but very well laid out, with everything you need. I particularly appreciated the faucet, which is both beautiful and functional. A tray with a kettle for making coffee or tea. Very comfortable bedding. Good blackout curtains. The breakfast items are very good, and having breakfast in the conservatory on a sunny day while watching the horses being trained is absolutely wonderful. - There is a constant noise of water circulating in the radiator: earplugs are recommended for those sensitive to noise. Breakfast: limited choice considering the price of €16, and I regret that there are no artisanal or local products...

15/06/2026: This restaurant was discovered thanks to our Haute-Savoie Gourmet Passport. We had a great time! A nice little menu, perfect for weekday lunch, with fresh produce and homemade dishes. Good food at a reasonable price, and quick service. Excellent!

27/03/2026: This restaurant is calm and friendly, serving pizzas, burgers, salads, and a few Italian dishes. The food is very good, with just the right balance of salt and sugar. We often get off work late, and even if we arrive a little late, around 9 pm, the welcome is warm and friendly—a real Friday night treat.

21/05/2026: Served late, around 2:30 pm, thank you for the warm welcome! Congratulations on the change; every effort is being made to delight customers despite the first few days of opening. The herring salad was perfect, a simple yet delicious dish, and the meat was also excellent. A fantastic reopening that's off to a great start! And I haven't even mentioned the amazing, inexpensive Corbières wine... Visit on March 22nd: the Rougail sausage was exceptionally good!

09/06/2026: A really nice place, good food, and a very friendly crowd. Major drawback: the service; the waiters are nonchalant, you feel like you're bothering them with every question. I've rarely seen anything like it, and it's a shame.

15/05/2026: Reservation for 6 people on a Friday evening. We waited a long time before our order was taken. Once it was, our dishes were served cold and not cooked to our liking. Cold burger, cold fries, steak cooked medium instead of rare. We thought we'd order dessert to make up for it. Well, we waited another 30 minutes before being served. More than 3 hours between appetizers and dessert. If you're in a hurry, definitely avoid this place!

13/05/2026: Unacceptable service. Today I went to this establishment for lunch... WHAT A MISTAKE!!! It's getting worse and worse: - They don't even say hello, but instead ask which beer you'd like! - You wait 15 minutes for a measly pitcher of white wine. - You wait 30 minutes for a measly reheated vacuum-packed sauerkraut. - You ask for mustard, which you have to get yourself because otherwise your dish will be cold. - You pay at 1:35 PM because your plate still hasn't been cleared. - The absolute worst part: the waitress has the nerve to ask if everything was alright!!!!! You tell her the service is more than mediocre, and she replies: "What do you want me to say?" I'll let you think about that and take steps to keep the suckers coming to your establishment.

13/11/2025: A unique place that takes you back in time. The burger with andouille sausage and fries was excellent. One small drawback: the cooking smell lingered on your clothes when you left.

01/06/2026: The staff were friendly but disorganized, resulting in a long wait. We arrived at noon and our starter wasn't served until 1 p.m., so you can imagine what time we were served our main course and dessert! I think the staff should be assigned tables instead of serving everyone, as they lose track of what's happening. The meal was good, but nothing special considering the price. It's a shame, but we won't be back.

05/06/2026: My partner and I had a lovely time. The starter was spring rolls, followed by a Thai beef and basil dish—the meat was incredibly tender and perfectly cooked. Then came a stir-fried pork dish with sweet and sour sauce, served with vegetables, rice, and shrimp paste... A real feast! Of course, we enjoyed a glass of red and white wine for my wife. Simply perfect! Thank you to the chef, the waiter, and the manager! 👍😁

20/05/2026: The meat and fish were undercooked, with no suggested side dishes for the vegetables and no mention of them on the menu. I'm not sure the products were fresh! The establishment wasn't clean. Expensive for what we ate. Disappointed.

19/04/2026: A very bad experience. From the start, I received inappropriate comments on my phone twice (because I was on my phone while waiting for my food). The service was extremely slow: over 15 minutes of waiting just to get ketchup, despite asking two different servers and repeating the request several times. You clearly get the impression you're bothering them as soon as you ask for anything, and on top of that, you get unpleasant reactions (sighs, etc.). The fries were frozen, which is disappointing, and the cheese on the burger was barely melted. Organization-wise, nothing works: the server came back three times to ask for desserts because he'd forgotten them, and the birthday candle was placed on the wrong dessert. Finally, the facilities leave much to be desired: windows that are stuck and won't open, a toilet door that won't close, and you can't even hear yourself speak because of the noise. Overall, the service and quality were far below expectations.

14/06/2026: The meal wasn't particularly surprising, but the choice of local producers was commendable (the beef came from the village and was excellent). However, we were disappointed because we ordered the tasting menu and saw that the tables around us were receiving amuse-bouches while we weren't. Thinking it was an oversight, we mentioned it when paying the bill, and we were told it was normal because we each had a glass of wine as an aperitif, which they don't consider an aperitif, so we weren't entitled to the amuse-bouches! This is the first time we've ever been told that in a restaurant... So, if one of us had ordered a glass of wine and the other a cocktail, only one of us would have received the amuse-bouches? ... A strange way of looking at things.

25/05/2026: Located right next to the EV 3, we enjoyed an excellent, reasonably priced lunch menu. Bicycles and luggage could be left outside. The service was efficient and attentive.

26/06/2025: A quick "excuse us" would have been appreciated when we found a snail on one of our plates, but instead the waitress haughtily dismissed us with a "that means it's organic" before turning her back on us. A very long wait for the table and then the food.

25/06/2025: Bad service. Wait a long Time despite reservation. Did not have the table we asked for. Got a snail in my pizza and the waitress did not care at all. Not even an excuse Highly overpriced for its quality

20/04/2026: So-so... An €18 set menu that's not worth more. Nice terrace and friendly welcome. For starters, four rings of fried calamari served lukewarm and very tough, on two wilted lettuce leaves. The main course was a plate of pasta with tomato sauce and Parmesan, and to finish, a decent Mont Blanc, in the form of fromage blanc topped with chestnut cream. Perhaps we were just unlucky with the set menu today...

20/02/2026: We loved this place and visited twice during our week in Megeve. A friendly welcome and good hospitality at an unpretentious cafe bar. Food is consistently good and home cooked. A refreshing, authentic spot in an overpriced, overly-glamorous town.

03/06/2026: When we want to treat ourselves to something sweet, this is *the* place for indulgence! The welcome is always pleasant and warm, the shop is small but the selection is very generous! The cakes are beautiful, all the chocolate products (for me, chocolate is life!), the custard tart (my partner's favorite), the macarons, the marshmallow bears, the chocolate treats at Easter, the Yule logs and mini Yule logs at Christmas... Thank you, Mr. Bouillet, please keep delighting us!
