28/05/2026: An ideal spot to enjoy a meal overlooking the beach in the shade of parasols. The pizzas are delicious, generously topped, and the crust is among the best I've ever had—particularly light and crispy with a wonderful flavor. I can't wait to return for another delicious treat!

27/06/2026: A pleasant surprise. Unpretentious and friendly. Very good value for money. People come here for simple, tasty dishes. I was delighted with my €19 set menu: a truly excellent head cheese, a generously sized stuffed squid that was incredibly tender and delicious, and a rum baba just the way I like it—perfectly soaked and rich. The young waitress was very friendly and professional; thank you to her.

22/06/2026: Simple but very good food, prices as expected, relaxing and pleasant place, we go there regularly, friendly staff, a place to recommend for eating unpretentious and authentic food.

28/04/2026: This lunchtime, a group of 9, we were all very happy with our meal, whether we chose the set menu or the Perron menu. The hanger steak was very tender, and for dessert I had a chocolate fondant with a scoop of ice cream – absolutely delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere was lovely. We'll be back!

26/04/2026: Delicious ice cream! They serve it in the afternoon, which we really appreciate. The service was friendly; if the server had been there more often, we would have ordered more. We like to have a drink first, then browse the menu, order again, and maybe another drink. The interior is very cool, and the terrace offers a great view.

21/06/2026: During our day in Veules-les-Roses, we were simply looking for a place to take a short break and have a drink. We discovered Comme à la maison - Coffee Shop, and what a lovely surprise! I really loved this place. It's a refreshing change from the usual cafes and bars. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming; you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in, and the setting is full of charm. It's a cozy and inviting spot, perfect for relaxing after a stroll through the village. We had a wonderful time, and I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Veules-les-Roses. A truly great find that I'll gladly return to! 😊☕

The prices are very affordable. If you are in the area and want to eat a Japanese dish, I recommend you to cross its threshold.

02/07/2026: Excellent Greek food, but it took 20 minutes to serve 3 people… don't go if you're in a hurry!

10/07/2026: Typical tourist trap on the seafront. The tables were packed in tightly and the food is disappointing. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The kids had pizzas, but the bases were floury and flat, as though the dough hadn't been left to prove properly. The cheese tasted cheap and processed. The biggest disappointment was the cod and seafood. The cod itself was cooked well, but it was served with linguine in a bland cream sauce that lacked any flavour. The scallops were equally disappointing cooked acceptably but completely bland, lost in the same beige, creamy sauce with no seasoning or character. Overall, friendly staff couldn't make up for below-average food. There are much better places to eat nearby.

17/06/2026: The setting is magnificent, but unfortunately, the rest didn't live up to it. The service, while very friendly, was rather inattentive; the dishes were decent, though quite expensive; and I was very disappointed with the desserts.

17/03/2026: Average. Okay if you have a very large appetite, otherwise it's a waste. The mussel casserole as a starter is served in a very full soup bowl, far too much. Overall, it lacks seasoning and flavor. On the other hand, the plates are nicely presented. The atmosphere is cold, and you can hear the owner reprimanding the waitress, which is awkward.
