24/09/2026: I trusted the Google reviews, and I'm so glad I did! 🍕 The pizzas are excellent, and pizza dough lovers will be more than satisfied. The pizzeria's atmosphere, its charm, and especially the warm welcome from the staff are definitely worth the trip. I sincerely recommend this pizzeria and I'll definitely be back!

06/08/2026: Good food, generous portions. Very slow service at first, then very fast; the table had to be vacated for another seating. The menu was complicated; I had to ask for help to understand it. To top it all off, the bill was exorbitant. Not good.

10/09/2026: Very good, we often get couscous to go, a real treat!

31/07/2026: A very warm welcome. The waitresses were attentive and offered excellent advice. The couscous was superb and plentiful. A wonderful discovery, and we highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back.

31/07/2026: A bit out of the way, but definitely worth the trip. We went for the €18 meal deal, which came with a burger (double patty and cheese), fries or salad, and a soft drink. It came to €22 in total, and every bite was worth it. The burger was absolutely delicious, and the meal was great value for the quality. I'd happily make the trip again.

12/09/2026: It was a very pleasant surprise to eat at this restaurant while passing through town and to have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious and generous vegetarian burger. Indeed, thanks to the kindness of the waiter, he spontaneously offered me a vegetarian steak to accommodate my vegan diet.

19/08/2026: They refused to serve us a drink under the pretext that "lots of people were arriving," even though it was Tuesday evening in August at 7 pm, we were seated at a table without cutlery, and the establishment was literally empty (inside and out). Surprising for a "pub."

11/08/2026: We had a delicious meal last Sunday. As usual, we asked beforehand how it works. First of all, you are supposed to get your own bread from the baker. Then you go and look around and discuss what you want with the fishmongers. The prices are listed in kg, so you can quickly calculate the cost. We had 12 oysters for 21 euros. Try getting that in the Netherlands. At least 3.50 euros apiece. Delicious! The other seafood is so fresh and tasty that it is definitely worth the money. When you look at the restaurants in the area around Chez Allain, the prices there are much higher. In short, we had a delicious lunch. By the way, the glasses of wine they serve are 15cl for 7 euros; at the average restaurant, this is 7 euros for 10cl. If you happen to be in the area on Sunday, go over to the market first and then have lunch at Chez Allain or one of its neighbors.

01/08/2026: Excellent!!! Top-notch staff. To improve the seafood platter eaten on-site, a few slices of bread with butter would be perfect! Otherwise, don't change a thing, the products are excellent.

19/09/2026: Nice decor, good service, polite waiters. As for the food, I expected better.

10/09/2026: The welcome and service were very friendly. A few minor complaints about the food, which didn't seem entirely homemade, especially the desserts. Go for the ice cream!

12/09/2026: The price isn't justified by the quality of the products, the location, or anything else. The staff were very friendly (at least by Parisian standards), but that doesn't make up for the rest. Perhaps I was just unlucky and arrived at the wrong time? Because I only saw a small part of what's shown in the photos here. In any case, 7 euros for a stale, refrigerated snack seems outrageous.

30/08/2026: No more ice cubes, no more milk other than coconut milk, and no toilets. All announced in dribs and drabs.

28/07/2026: A great place for a delicious snack: gourmet waffles, gourmet drinks, etc. I highly recommend it!

09/07/2026: The waffles are excellent, the milkshakes are very indulgent. Treat yourself to an afternoon snack!

11/09/2026: I would like to commend Bruno Verjus for his remarkable (and widely noted) decision to permanently close his dive in Paris's 12th arrondissement! Indeed—after 445 Michelin-starred meals (since Tuesday, March 12, 2019)—I believe (without any pretension) that I have acquired a certain amount of experience (indeed, considerable experience) to be able to state that this is the worst "QUALITY/QUANTITY/PRICE" ratio in a two-Michelin-starred establishment, a fact I also mentioned to the Michelin Guide when I wrote my traditional "FOOD TO WORDS" comments! Firstly, the QUALITY of this chef's food is truly mediocre, both in terms of creation (utterly lacking) and execution (completely inconsistent)! Secondly, the QUANTITY of his dishes is truly ridiculous, to the point where you leave his dive feeling utterly hungry! However, I remind him that the primary function of a RESTAURANT is to allow a customer to ENJOY A MEAL! Thirdly, the PRICE of his set menu (€480) – which is far more expensive than that charged in three-Michelin-starred restaurants – is gastronomically astronomical, and – above all – inversely proportional to the QUALITY of his recipes and the QUANTITY on his plates! 24/09/2026: Passing through Sète, I was craving a Turkish kebab, and I'm glad I chose this place. It's very clean, with a wide selection at a reasonable price, and the portions are generous. I recommend it. It's best to park further away because there's no parking available. The restrooms are very clean.

21/09/2026: It used to be a must-visit spot, now it's one to avoid. The kebabs have practically no meat, or just tiny scraps of meat, and are piled high with salad. The staff is unfriendly, and the prices are exorbitant. I don't know what the two brothers were thinking... They've lost a lot of old customers but don't seem to know how to adapt.

19/07/2026: I've been to this restaurant a couple of times and it's always met our expectations. This Thursday, I had a reservation for two, and at 9:30 pm we were told the restaurant was closing. The windows and shutters were closed, and the bill was brought to us. For an evening out with friends, being told to close at 9:30 pm... it's a bit surprising and not very pleasant... a restaurant closing at that hour, I've never seen that before. You should write it on the door so customers aren't surprised...

The team is welcoming and professional, but a special thank you to a lovely blonde woman with short hair who was absolutely delightful. She offered excellent advice, was a great listener, patient, and extremely professional. She took the time to explain everything clearly and guided me very well.

21/07/2026: They didn't have what I wanted. And my drink was basically just ice cubes. At €5.95, it's expensive. I won't be back.

29/09/2026: For a late afternoon drink on the terrace, 2 stars for the location. Only 1 star for the service; you really get the feeling you're bothering them.

28/09/2026: I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. Homemade cuisine using fresh ingredients. An original menu with just the right number of dishes. And a delight with every course! Everything was very generous and flawless. The icing on the cake: impeccable service. In short, don't change a thing. And ignore the excessive reviews below, probably from frustrated competitors.
