15/06/2026: The service was far too slow; we had to ask for our aperitif after 30 minutes. The duck leg, cooked at low temperature, was burnt to a crisp, and the homemade mashed potatoes were just mushy potatoes. The homemade fruit salad looked like it came straight from a can of Saint Mamet fruit. The bread was stale! And to top it all off, they handed us the cutlery. Avoid at all costs.

29/06/2026: Worst service in the world, we unfortunately didn't even get to taste the food! The waiter was awful and rude. Edit in response to my lack of courage: your waiter was rude from the moment we walked in. Apparently, it was too much of a hassle to serve and talk to us. We made it clear that we wanted to eat as soon as we arrived. We ordered a drink beforehand as an aperitif, and after a 30-minute wait, the waiter deliberately ignored us. We preferred to leave rather than endure the wait with an unwilling employee. To top it all off, when it came time to pay, he violently grabbed the card reader, pushed one of us to enter the amount, and then threw the card reader on the counter without a word, still wearing the same annoyed face. Edit #2: We actually came into the establishment to eat and have an aperitif, and we made our displeasure known as soon as we arrived! You know the rest. I think you would have been just as unhappy as we were!

23/04/2026: Disappointed! I just tried it and it was disgusting. The meat smelled like meat and was in large chunks. The sandwich bread was so broken it was impossible to eat. In short, it was revolting and not worth the €8.50 price. They added an extra charge, I don't know what for. Anyway, never again!

09/03/2026: As a regular at this restaurant, I recommended it to a friend for her daughter's christening. Initially, everything went well; the owner was very responsive and offered a very reasonable price. But on the day... a disaster... We waited an hour and a half for our couscous! And not even during peak service; it was 3 pm when we arrived at the restaurant... Meanwhile, they were serving us a delicious eggplant caviar, but without any toast or bread... The bread baskets arrived sporadically... The couscous finally arrived, but there were no utensils to serve it with! We had to ask again and again... The guests were so hungry that some started serving themselves couscous with forks... In desperation... Two people had ordered steak and fries, and they arrived after we had already finished our couscous... When we asked for the table to be cleared so we could eat dessert (brought by the parents), we were told they would come and clear it when they had time... So we cleared everything ourselves... And then, to top it all off, there were no more cutlery or plates... We had to wait an incredibly long time... The brave waiter assigned to us was completely alone, going back and forth with almost no help... This restaurant shouldn't accept such large groups; they don't know how to manage. They should stick to traditional dining and avoid disappointing so many people who should have been together in joy and peace, but instead ended up hungry and stressed...
09/03/2026: I am writing in response to recent comments regarding the event scheduled for March 8th for approximately forty people. Unfortunately, the organization was very disappointing and fell far short of what would have been expected for an event planned for some time. From the very beginning of service, it was clear that the restaurant was not prepared to accommodate a group of this size. There were not enough place settings, the service was overwhelmed, and there was clearly a lack of staff to handle the situation. The servers had to manage our group, the tables on the ground floor, and those outside, which was simply impossible under normal circumstances. However, I would like to emphasize that the servers did everything they could to cope with this difficult situation. They were clearly neither sufficiently prepared, nor numerous enough, nor properly equipped to handle the influx of customers. Special mention goes to the server with the cap (sorry, I don't know his name) who undoubtedly did his best and was the most attentive. The real problem clearly lies with the restaurant's management. The manager is primarily responsible for this poor organization. When accepting an event of this magnitude, it is essential to plan ahead: ensuring sufficient staff, equipment, and appropriate organization. None of this seems to have been done. Even worse, the manager didn't even bother to meet with the customers to apologize or try to calm the situation. This is regrettable, as it puts the employees on the front line, facing customer dissatisfaction, when they are simply doing the best they can with the resources available to them. The staff is not to blame. We wish these employees, who tried their best despite clearly difficult working conditions, all the best for the future.

14/07/2026: The appetizer platter was nice, but the rest was really not great. The beef tartare was overly vinegary and inedible, and the fries weren't anything special. The other people I was with (there were six of us) ordered pizzas: one was a soggy burger pizza with meat that also had a strong vinegar taste, another, the "Viroise," was very sparsely topped, and yet another ordered a small burrata pizza, which was charged at the same price as the large one because, as the waitress explained, "burrata is expensive." We know this restaurant well, but the quality has clearly declined, while the prices have remained high. It's no longer good value for money. Fortunately, the desserts weren't bad. I'm not one to complain, but we all left with heavy stomachs and indigestion...
26/06/2026: Varied menu (🦪, daily specials, galettes, 🥗, pizzas, 🥞...), reasonable prices, good quality products, attentive and quick service (perhaps because there's a party tonight and tomorrow, Saturday. This is in response to the negative comments regarding the service).

17/05/2026: We came to this restaurant for dinner on a Saturday evening. The setting is very pleasant and welcoming. However, we opted for the €42 set menu, which included a starter, main course, cheese, and dessert, all served in a mere 1 hour and 15 minutes, including an aperitif. The main course was very generous, but the presentation needs improvement (the potato was wrapped in rather rough foil, and the cheese was cut on a completely unsuitable platter). The chocolate fondant wasn't really a fondant at all, but rather a very hard chocolate tart that was difficult to cut.

26/05/2026: We visited the restaurant spontaneously and enjoyed the best meal during our 10 day trip in the Provence. It was a wonderful meal with an organic touch and well combined. Stephanie and Pierre-Yves are a great team. Had to take a foto of them.
24/05/2026: We stayed at Hotel César for two nights during a hiking trip. The rooms and restaurant are very charmingly and lovingly decorated, and the view is magnificent. The food in the restaurant alone is worth the trip; Stéphanie and Pierre-Yves have created a real gem here and run the hotel and restaurant with passion!
