13/07/2026: An excellent South Indian paratha spot that does not water down its food, or identity for the French market. This naturally means it caters to the South Indian diaspora or people who are familiar with the culinary culture and modus operandi of such eateries. I.e., if you come here expecting the service of a bistro or even a cafe, you’d be sorely disappointed. This spot is a slice of south India in the most charming way. The parottas are freshly made and the mutton curry was excellent. Ask for less spicy options if your dining companions can’t take spicy food. I’ll be back for sure.

10/07/2026: I don't usually leave bad reviews, but this was a first. Avoid this place if you don't want to be harassed by a haughty and unpleasant waiter. The food itself is mediocre; the dishes are nothing special if you're used to Indian/Sri Lankan food. The appetizers are simply cold and all taste the same.

27/06/2026: We had to wait over an hour for our food. Unfortunately, no one from the staff apologized for the long wait or explained the delay. The service was therefore disappointing. In our opinion, this restaurant cannot be recommended.

23/09/2025: We booked for 11 people to celebrate our mother's surprise birthday. Everything went perfectly, from the reservation to the end of the meal, including the quality of the food and service. We received a very warm welcome. The dishes were delicious, the staff was attentive and checked on us regularly to see if everything was alright. We were even treated to a birthday cake with a special touch on our mother's plate! Absolutely fantastic! We are very grateful to Sophie's restaurant for this wonderful family experience we were able to share.

03/05/2026: I go there every year for the spring equestrian sports festival and the site is very beautiful. It now has a permanent grandstand, perfect for rainy or hot days.

05/06/2026: I recently dined at Château de Beaulieu, eager to discover the restaurant's atmosphere, its cuisine, and to enjoy the setting, which is indeed very pleasant. The dishes were sophisticated and beautifully presented, with a real focus on flavor combinations. However, I felt the seasoning sometimes lacked character. I would have appreciated slightly bolder, more vibrant flavors to better showcase the dishes. My main regret, however, concerns the ordering experience. Being a foodie and wanting to explore more of the menu, I asked to order two courses, which was refused. This made me uncomfortable and unfortunately impacted the rest of my meal. My intention wasn't to waste food, but simply to fully enjoy the gastronomic experience offered. So, it's an establishment with a beautiful setting and refined cuisine, but this restriction regarding ordering somewhat marred my experience.
