30/05/2026: I'm sure it's great for some people. But the obsession with mayonnaise must've killed the 'a' missing from Manhattan. The Gotham burger was barely recognizable as a burger and more like ground beef drowning in an onion mayonnaise soup. Best eaten with a spoon. Companions' other choices of burger looked better, so maybe one just has to know what to order. Fries were good; you can skip the, of course, mayonnaise. People were very nice. Decor is ordinary.

23/05/2026: I was very disappointed with my visit. I ordered a Big Tasty Rösti but only received a regular Big Tasty; the rösti was completely missing. When we explained the problem, the manager (I assume) was condescending instead of trying to understand the situation. Of course, we only had the credit card receipt and not the receipt detailing the exact order, but that doesn't excuse this lack of consideration for customers. Mistakes happen, but the welcome and the way customers are treated are just as important.

13/05/2026: I love the atmosphere, the fun music, and the hot food 🥵. The staff are respectful and lovely. I wanted to give it 6 stars, but it's a shame there are only 5. Bessoncourt is the best McDonald's I've been to in the area.

11/06/2026: Arriving at 9:30pm and finding there's nothing left to eat, we take the leftovers, an appetizer, a main course, a piece of bread and a drink, €27 for a truck stop that we only want to see on the motorway, well, that's shameful.

19/05/2026: Always super friendly and welcoming

09/05/2026: A disaster... the starter, a bland and greasy terrine. The fish of the day was appreciated. However, the "workshop" platter... a horror! The gravlax salmon was actually thick, hard scraps of smoked salmon. The Camembert samosa was... a long time ago. The pâté, the same as the starter, was inedible. The salad, a third of the plate, was dressed with a generous amount of industrial vinaigrette :-( Fries were okay, but they were expensive). Depending on the table, olives are served with the aperitif, but not for us... A burger for a hostess... she's still looking for the cheese... "Not good," she says, because she's well-mannered! I threw up my meal: the "workshop" platter. My daughter had diarrhea after eating the pâté and burger... Only the fish was decent. We had eaten lunch at this place before, but never again.

26/04/2026: Arrived this Sunday, April 26th, at 4:40 PM. Friendly welcome. Upon checking into the room, there was a musty smell. Very hot. I turned on the air conditioning, nothing. Just hot air. I complained to reception, and the response was: "It's only hot, the air conditioning is broken! But it will be cooler tomorrow." Really? But the credit card terminal is working fine. I filled the bathtub to cool off. After 10 minutes, half the water was gone. The plug is completely worn out. The credit card terminal is still working. Three stars? Probably just for show. Once bitten, twice shy. Goodbye Campanile. A review is coming soon, given my profession.

14/04/2026: Friendly welcome at the reception. The room is what it is. Location close to main roads, but little to do in the immediate vicinity.

16/05/2026: Great bar, well located, festive atmosphere, friendly staff, and the new waiter was very attentive to the customers! I highly recommend this establishment.

18/05/2026: Terrible, the meat was way overcooked, the rice and duck paste were awful, and worst of all, the frozen dessert was unacceptable. Plus, the noise was unbearable, with children playing (not their fault). The location wasn't good either. I don't recommend this place.

18/05/2026: Delicious homemade lasagne, well served with a lovely tasty salad, excellent service and a very friendly waiter who looks a bit like Roman Frayssinet (; thank you!

16/06/2026: Excellent bakery! The service is very pleasant, the team is welcoming and always smiling. The small dishes offered are delicious, prepared with care and quality ingredients. Everything is fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend this place for a sweet treat or a quick meal. Well done to the whole team! If you would like a shorter, more personal, or more professional review, I can also adapt it.

12/05/2026: I have been to a lot of bakeries in France. This is one of the best. Living in Val, I have been here 100 times. Everything is just better. More artfully done, better tasting, fresher.

29/11/2025: The food is good, the atmosphere is nice, and the service is excellent! The waiter is very friendly and tells little jokes. One small drawback: the dishes are a bit pricey for the portion size.

27/09/2025: Misunderstanding: I called in early September to make a reservation for nine people for a birthday party. They explained to me that we could only eat sweets, which I readily accepted. When I arrived at the reservation time, a sign indicated that the restaurant was closed. I decided to go inside and was told that the restaurant had been closed for several weeks. I can only advise you to have a plan B if you make a reservation at this establishment. Because managing to find a table for a birthday party for such a large group is nothing short of miraculous... This is an unprofessional establishment; I do not recommend it.

07/09/2025: A must-visit when we come to Pornic. The taste, and nothing but the taste, of strawberry. Cone or sundae, we've tried everything, it's incredibly good.
