25/09/2026: What an incredible meal. We walked into Le Mazenay not really knowing what to expect. It was so quiet and intimate… although our slightly louder group of three changed that pretty quickly lol. It’s a husband-and-wife team — he cooks and she runs the front of the house — and you can immediately tell how much care they put into this restaurant. Not one dish disappointed. From the complimentary cheese biscuits and amazing bread and butter to the dry sliced beef, duck, sea bream and exceptional mille-feuille, everything was delicious. The flavors are traditional French but with subtle, unique touches that make the food feel special without trying too hard. She somehow runs the intimate dining room seamlessly, with so much warmth, care and a genuinely funny personality. There are very few tables, so definitely make a reservation. Our only problem? We’re now worried we had our best meal too early in our Paris trip and nothing else is going to be as good lol. Truly one of our favorite meals. We absolutely loved Le Mazenay.

27/09/2026: We just ordered a kebab. After taking one bite, we noticed a worm in the meat. I'm shocked! It says a lot about their hygiene! Avoid this place!

09/09/2026: An address you absolutely must discover. First, get lost in the little streets of Lorgues, and then enjoy a delicious plate of pasta or an excellent pizza. It wasn't our first time, and certainly not our last! The service is always warm and welcoming.

02/09/2026: Disappointing experience. We were the only ones in the restaurant; I should have known better! The main course was mediocre, and the tarte tatin was a tart in name only. It's a shame because the service was quite friendly, but the food was completely subpar. I think you must have the wrong person, because I insist, there were only two of us that evening, and we were in no way subjected to any racist behavior. As I mentioned, the waitress was very pleasant. One thing is certain: I look forward to not returning to your establishment.

We had the opportunity to organize training sessions there for IA Pro Academy, and the setting is absolutely ideal: pleasant, calm, professional, and perfectly suited for hosting productive work sessions. The staff is fantastic—available, welcoming, and highly professional. Everything runs smoothly, is well-organized, and offers excellent service. Special mention also goes to the catering: the food is delicious, making the experience even more enjoyable during a training day. I highly recommend this venue for its setting, the warm welcome, and the overall quality of the service.

17/01/2026: We arrived as a couple, and the waiter just looked at us without saying a word. Neither did we 😂 After ten seconds, I finally blurted out, "Can we eat?" He pointed to a table. We sat down, but the table was sticky. I gestured to him to ask if we could move, but no luck. So we took another table next door… also sticky. Anyway, I ordered. I chose a pig's stomach soup. Five minutes later, he brought me a large bowl of tripe soup, explaining that they were out of stomach. The soup was very good, piping hot, and very spicy—perfect for a 2°C (36°F) day. In short: terrible service, good food but ridiculously expensive, with a simple bowl of rice costing €4.

14/01/2026: Excellent experience at Chez Riz 🥢😊. The dishes are flavorful, well-balanced, and generous, featuring authentic Chinese recipes 🍜🔥. The Peking duck and stir-fried noodles are definitely worth trying 😋. Fast service, discreet and efficient staff 👍. Simple yet friendly atmosphere, perfect for a lunch or dinner without any unpleasant surprises. A reliable address in Lyon 👌

08/04/2026: It was a magnificent hotel, simply wonderful… The food was delicious… The reason I deducted two stars for service is because we had already paid for the hotel, but when we checked out, we were charged again for the hotel along with the meal. Since there were four of us, we divided the meal among four people, and I realized it after I made the final payment. We got a refund, but our accounts got very mixed up… Apart from that, it was great…

20/09/2026: We arrived around 10:30 am on a Sunday for breakfast and were immediately given a table with chairs outside on the street side. We enjoyed our time there: comfortably seated, the atmosphere outside was pleasant, as the location is very charming and ideally situated in the historic heart of Troyes (very close to the Rue des Chats). Our continental breakfasts were excellent: we highly recommend it, thank you :) Eglantine and Laura
