01/09/2026: A lovely little restaurant with a warm welcome and a family atmosphere. There were 10 of us for lunch, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our generous meal. Everything is homemade, carefully prepared by the owner's mother in the kitchen. The homemade fries were very good, but the real highlight was the delicious mirabelle plum tart! The fruit comes from the tree you can see while strolling on the terrace: a truly homemade tart, prepared with all the expertise and generosity of the family. Thank you for this wonderful experience! I highly recommend this place, whether for a family meal or lunch with colleagues. We even saw some construction workers eating there, which is often a good sign!

19/08/2026: This place is incredible! A huge collection of cookbooks, a place to eat healthy, varied, and affordable food, the opportunity to work there, to take cooking workshops... I don't think you can find anything more complete! And the ladies who run the shop are super friendly too!

21/06/2026: Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. My pizza order was wrong, and I only realized it after eating. When I reported it, the manager tried to convince me that I was wrong (I double-checked the menu before reporting it because I was afraid I'd made a mistake, but that wasn't the case). The pizza dough is too thin and soft, but it tastes good and is easy to digest. The tomato base is very good, and the mozzarella is also okay. The other ingredients on the pizza, however, were completely bland. I recommend getting a Margherita. The waiter was kind.

13/08/2026: The host is incredibly rude. Did not let us in despite the restaurant being nearly empty and did not give us a reason as to why. Do not come here. Staff are not friendly.

05/08/2026: A very warm welcome, the service was impeccable – not too slow, not too fast. We opted for the all-you-can-eat buffet at €17 per person! There was a good selection of starters such as miso soup, coleslaw, and ink gyoza. A good selection of maki and other sushi was also available. The portions of chicken satay and green curry were very generous. Since the restaurant is in Old Nice, the outdoor tables are in a side street. Excellent value for money.

14/10/2026: Coming from the beautiful shores of Évian-les-Bains, my stomach growling with hunger, I stopped at the renowned La Pizza inn. And to my great surprise, there was no Italian galette for me that day, for I was served a truly magnificent dish they call a burger. By my faith, this meatloaf was wonderfully smooth and unparalleled! The meat was fatty, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, bathed in sweet sauces and melting cheeses that delighted my palate. The innkeepers' hospitality was courteous, and the feast was worthy of the grandest court banquets. I urge you to go there without delay and enjoy a truly sumptuous meal. I gladly award them five stars on this parchment of modern times, for such a feast deserves many vibrant praises!

15/09/2026: Great! The cashier staff were pleasant. However, behind the counter, there was someone laughing very loudly and then speaking rudely to the cashier about how she should treat customers.

14/08/2026: This restaurant offers very tasty food at reasonable prices. Furthermore, since the dining room is quite large (comprising several distinct areas), our group of six was seated quickly without a reservation (though it's best to make one). We've been there several times and have never been disappointed. Well done, keep up the good work!

13/09/2026: Overall food was tasty but… 1. The order was completely wrong - a cream based pasta came with tomato sauce, the sides completely wrong/missing, grilled fish was fried and raw on one side. 2. Horrendous service - disorganised staff with an attitude. Had to ask many times for drinks and condiments and waited a long time with things being brought one at a time, frequently the wring thing. 3. Gone off olive oil - tasted bitter and bland, was given two options and one was worse than the other and inedible. Ended up eating the bread to fill ourselves up (bread was really nice despite the previous shortcomings) and now hoping won’t be subjected to food poisoning. Overall do not go unless just for drinks.
