24/09/2026: We received a terrible welcome on this beautiful September weekend! The terrace was packed with people enjoying drinks and food in the late summer sunshine, so we decided to wait on a nearby bench, planning to get up and rush in when the time came. 😅 Just then, two men passing by snatched our seats right in front of us. It was rather funny, actually. In hindsight, it wasn't a big deal. Oh well, too bad for us. Even though the waiters could see us waiting... But the waiter smiled at us with a... well... I'm still wondering if his smile meant "tough luck," "not quick enough," or "too bad for you!" After exchanging a few words, my husband and I decided to leave. Since parking was only allowed for 30 minutes, and with the time almost up, we decided to give up on our desired drink and buy our son, who had been waiting for a few minutes, a nice ice cream to go. We approached the counter to see the available flavors, and the waitress told us the ice cream stand was closed... there was no indication of that. No curtain, no freezer still open, no tubs open, nothing... not even a greeting! Disappointment. Really bad luck, I think. 6:08 PM, no more ice cream available?? We left, explaining that, seeing us waiting around the patio for over 20 minutes, they could have perhaps made a small gesture... Tables and chairs were put away. They could have offered to let us wait 5 minutes to be seated. They could have offered to let us set up three chairs and a table ourselves. Also, since the ice cream freezer was open, why not get out a spoon to serve my son yet another scoop of the day? Incomprehensible! Shooting customers away. 6:08 PM was perhaps a closing time, I don't know. But what a lack of tact towards a customer who comes to eat or drink! What a strange team! I never leave such negative comments. I'm not saying this place isn't usually welcoming, but perhaps we were just unlucky.

21/09/2026: Ideal for a quick meal or a coffee/snack break. Very well located by the sea. The terrace is lovely. The service is quick and courteous. I recommend it.

09/10/2026: We arrived at the beginning of the very slow service, and our dish was served lukewarm/cold. For the price, we expected much better!

23/09/2026: We're regular customers, but we're going to take a break now because, frankly, the service isn't pleasant. The lady, probably the owner, hasn't improved her friendliness either. She's unfriendly, very cold, and not at all communicative. It's very unpleasant. The service is minimal: no bread was brought, the cooking method for the calf's liver was ignored, the mashed potatoes were cold, and we asked for a plate to share dessert and are still waiting... It's a real shame because the place is very nice, especially the terrace.

01/10/2026: Always a pleasure to come and enjoy crêpes or ice cream. The staff is very friendly. We experienced this firsthand in winter during the freezing cold, when we received a very warm welcome inside, and again this summer outside for some excellent Breton shortbread ice cream. I highly recommend it.

20/09/2026: The crepes were very good, but the service at the table was rather average, and the way the cutlery was thrown onto the table was rather poor...a shame.

27/07/2026: The restaurant was absolutely incredible. We went there after a recommendation and were not disappointed. On the contrary, we had high expectations that were actually exceeded. The mussels cooked in wine were more than we have ever had and probably the best we have ever eaten in our lives. All this at very reasonable prices. The owner and staff were all very nice. We highly recommend eating here!

26/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at the restaurant the day before yesterday. A huge thank you to Mongi for his warm welcome, his smile, his kindness, and his attentiveness throughout the meal. He gave us excellent advice on the dishes, although the wait was a little long, which is understandable as there were only two servers for the entire restaurant. Special mention goes to the mussels in cream sauce – they were excellent! One small negative point that made us feel very uncomfortable: we were shocked to see a new server arrive and put pressure on our server, speaking disrespectfully in front of us. Despite this, Mongi remained calm and professional. Well done for his composure and professionalism. A true server, the kind we wish we saw more often! We will definitely be back!

28/09/2026: This isn't a restaurant. It's more like a bar. Relais du Ventoux has been called a restaurant for over 30 years. I've never actually gotten anything to eat there.
