16/08/2026: It's a shame, we had dinner and ordered the "Inspiration" menu. The tuna maki was bland, as was the eggplant that followed (tasteless tomatoes and a severe lack of seasoning throughout). The aioli: one piece of fish arrived raw inside, and the mayonnaise (aioli) was runny and didn't hold its shape... Yet it's supposed to be THE sauce to enjoy with fish and accompanying vegetables. Only the dessert was reasonably well done (mille-feuille), although once again we were disappointed by the vanilla cream, which didn't taste like vanilla at all. On the other hand, the biscuit was perfectly baked. The fig sorbet was very good.

31/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful evening at Lift for a table of eight. We received a very warm welcome upon arrival, which is always much appreciated. The service was impeccable: a smiling, attentive, and professional team. Every dish we tasted was absolutely delicious, made with high-quality ingredients and beautifully presented. This wasn't our first visit, and it certainly won't be our last! A big thank you to the entire team for your warm welcome and kindness. It's truly a pleasure these days to be so well received and to enjoy a wonderful evening on the terrace. See you soon!

22/09/2026: Exceptional setting but very average food

20/09/2026: It was a bit disappointing: when a restaurant is selected by Gault & Millau, you are entitled to expect something. Beautiful location, but the food and service were somewhat underwhelming. The starters were very reasonable (Shrimp and Tempura, Tartare aux 3 Tomates & Burrata), but the main course (Pâtes aux gambas) was a real letdown. Not very refined, the shrimps were just not quite cooked enough, and the sauce was a bit strange. And that for the most expensive main course on the menu. And unfortunately, the service wasn't exactly something to get excited about either. A pity.

17/09/2026: We ordered duck confit with porcini mushroom sauce. The duck was overcooked, cold inside, and the meat was sticking to the bone. The mushroom sauce was tasteless. A tourist trap, avoid it. The restrooms were dirty, there was no toilet paper in the dispenser, the mirror was covered in streaks, and there was a clear lack of hygiene. Perhaps it was the end of the season (September), but there are many issues that need addressing.

11/09/2026: The duck was too tough and the color was white instead of pink; the sauce was tasteless and the color suspicious, inedible.

20/09/2026: We arrived around 10:30 am on a Sunday for breakfast and were immediately given a table with chairs outside on the street side. We enjoyed our time there: comfortably seated, the atmosphere outside was pleasant, as the location is very charming and ideally situated in the historic heart of Troyes (very close to the Rue des Chats). Our continental breakfasts were excellent: we highly recommend it, thank you :) Eglantine and Laura

23/05/2026: From arrival to departure, everything was excellent. We enjoyed the various services: restaurant, spa treatments, swimming pool (at 29°C), as well as the prime location, and highly recommend this hotel.

28/07/2026: Passing through the area, we tried this restaurant. The set menu was €17, and we asked for a vegetarian option, which was accepted. I highly recommend it; the service and quality were excellent.

24/09/2026: The service was perfect, especially the young waiter who looked after us well throughout the meal without being intrusive. He remained discreet and unobtrusive; kudos to this young man! It's great to see such a motivated future in the profession. The pizzas were excellent and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I highly recommend it.

13/12/2025: Ugur restaurant offers kebabs and generously filled platters at reasonable prices. I enjoyed my meal there many times before finally summoning up the courage to write this review. I thank the staff, who are very friendly. Until next time.
