23/09/2026: We were advised against this place. 12:30 pm, hungry??? A seedy place. Lunch??? Tasteless… but the waitress's arrogance left us speechless. A small green salad, €3.50. Inedible because it was wilted and blackened… from an old bag. Awful. At 12:30 pm, no more daily specials?? Listen to what the locals are saying!!!!

16/09/2026: We had reserved a table for 3 adults, 3 children, and a baby in a stroller. When we ordered, the owner sharply pointed out that we needed one dish per person. We had planned to share one of the dishes between two of the children. She became enraged: "I'm expecting a full house! I would have given you a table for 4," forcing us to order an extra course. In the end, one of the two dining rooms was empty, ours was half full, and there was no one on the terrace. At our request, an additional empty plate was brought to us very reluctantly, in the size of a dessert plate! The presence of the children, who were perfectly calm, didn't seem to bother her. I've never encountered such behavior in a restaurant. We didn't linger and left (after paying!) without ordering dessert or coffee. We absolutely do not recommend this establishment, especially if you have children.

18/06/2026: Very friendly and helpful staff. I had broken my leg that day and they assisted me well. It was also one of the only hotels in the area that had a wheelchair available.

05/05/2026: What can I say? The staff were excellent, from the shuttle to the reception and the restaurant. A huge thank you to the trio of girls—they'll recognize themselves, I think—you were perfect for our morale! And to Mr. Jean-Michel, I believe 🤔. We've found our transit point for our holiday departures, well, when we can actually leave! 😂 We had three difficult days, and thankfully they were lovely. The room was nice, the restaurant was good. One small issue: when you order the "express" breakfast, please specify to guests that it's just a mini pastry and a bottle of water in the room?

13/10/2026: Great food. Also for the kids. I had a "boeuf bourgignon" in Nice style, with the most tender and flavorful meat. The only note I have, which we do where I am a waiter, is to ask other guests not to sit and facetime or watch loud videos. It can be a bit annoying for the atmosphere to have a table next to someone who is about to call home and tell everything on speakerphone. Sweet and efficient service, delicious food and otherwise cozy surroundings! Will come back next time we visit Nice!

24/09/2026: A magnificent establishment, with top-notch service. The dishes were generous and delicious. The tea at the end of the meal was a welcome touch, and the orange blossom water for the hands was a lovely discovery.

11/01/2026: The restaurant was clean, but the prices were a bit too high for what was served. For example, the meat with potato (just one portion) was small, and I don't know the weight of the piece of meat. The staff was pleasant.

06/10/2026: There was only one waiter for the entire restaurant. He didn't tell us they were closing the kitchen, so we couldn't order dessert. There are no restrooms available either, and the wait is very long. The salad was delicious.

05/10/2026: I came to eat with my family at Pomme de Pain Belle Épine and we had a wonderful time. The restaurant is very clean and well-maintained, not a speck of dust, everything is spotless. The manager is incredibly kind and welcoming. She greeted us with a lovely smile and great warmth, which was very pleasant. The staff is also friendly and the service is excellent. We enjoyed our visit and will gladly return. I highly recommend Pomme de Pain Belle Épine for its welcoming atmosphere, cleanliness, and quality of service. 😊
