22/07/2026: We were greeted warmly at first, but then we were served by a rude waiter. No greeting, no thank you, nothing. Even when we asked for water, he turned away and left without bringing it. Luckily, his colleagues were much more pleasant. As for the service and the food, the wait was very long, but understandable given how busy it was. Poor value for money; considering the cost and the wait, we expected something better. And to top it all off, we got food poisoning after our meal.

21/07/2026: So, sorry, but being served on the rooftop with no no-smoking sign, and especially the waiter bringing an ice-covered bottle and putting it on the floor! Like, too much trouble to put a bottle on the table?! Well, change professions! One steak was overcooked, practically black, in the hamburger, and the steak tartare was questionable! Avoid Ruoms! So much better elsewhere!

20/07/2026: Despite a very pleasant terrace, the same cannot be said for the owners and the overall atmosphere. We witnessed several instances where the owner made inappropriate remarks to one of his employees, who was on the verge of tears. When we expressed our shock, we were met with vehement responses claiming that "we don't know the context." Unfortunately, we believe that no situation justifies speaking disrespectfully to employees, especially in front of customers. This kind of behavior should no longer be tolerated in 2026.

17/07/2026: Espresso for €2.80… Besides being badly burnt, with only the roasted flavor and absolutely no coffee taste, it's outrageously expensive. On top of that, they don't accept cards for orders under €10 (without even mentioning it beforehand).

17/05/2026: Very nice McDonald's, a real change from the usual McDonald's! It was beautiful and delicious! Plus, it was hot! Drinks with ice (like on my order) aren't always the case! And the McDonald's Deal meal (since the beginning of May 2026) is pretty good! Because McDonald's was outclassed by Burger King (good and inexpensive meal!). Much better than the old McSmart meal. Well done to the Toulon team!!! See you soon!

05/05/2026: Honestly, I'm totally disappointed. I ordered a Caramel Popcorn McFurni ice cream from your McDonald's website, three cones and even more. Seriously, there were only four scoops of cream! I finished it in less than four seconds, and on top of that, I didn't get the Mario-themed tub (I'm paying you to get it!), and I got the regular McClory one. Honestly, it's not right to lose six euros and some change for that. Seriously, no, no, no, no, I won't be ordering again. I'm disgusted.

30/06/2026: A disgrace to French cuisine. The atmosphere is unsettling; there's no real cooking, everything comes straight from the freezer or cans. Only go if absolutely necessary 😉

29/06/2026: Always a very good experience. However, be aware that they only accept cards if you have a physical copy. They don't accept phone calls.

05/05/2026: I ordered a vegetarian 30-ounce sub on Uber Eats—a vegetable patty with cheese, plus extra cheese, onions, peppers, and salad. There was absolutely no cheese in it. I got a total of five peppers and hardly any salad or onions. If this is how they make their subs, it's pointless ordering from here. Avoid it.

17/07/2026: We loved it, a lovely little boat trip along the bay. The staff is absolutely fantastic. A special mention to the person who greeted us at the harbor master's office; she explained everything there was to do in the area so well... much better than at the tourist office.

16/07/2026: I just realized my review went astray 😂 The Mongetois, out for a cruise on July 14th, want to express our immense gratitude for the magnificent day spent aboard the d'Artagnan. From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the warm Gascon welcome and the complimentary aperitif. The generous and delicious meal, accompanied by excellent red and rosé wines, delighted all the guests. And to complete this wonderful experience, the tasting of Aurian Armagnac added a touch of authenticity and conviviality. Sailing on the Baïse River, in a peaceful and enchanting setting, made this outing an unforgettable moment. A big thank you and congratulations to the entire team for their professionalism, kindness, and good humor. An experience we wholeheartedly recommend!

26/03/2026: Excellent welcome from the entire team. The way the meats were cooked was original. The presentation of the starters and desserts was beautiful. Very good value for money. Excellent desserts, especially those featuring chocolate and pistachio. Thank you for this warm and friendly experience.

21/05/2026: I booked a set menu for an overnight stay. I sat down at 7 pm. I left the table at 11 pm; they had completely forgotten my starter and dessert. The food itself was good, but the apologies were weak. I found the service very disappointing.

07/05/2026: Here are a few definitions that some staff members clearly need to review at the start of the day: "Respect: a feeling that leads one to show consideration for someone because of the value one recognizes in them." "Professionalism: the professional nature of an activity." "Courtesy: refined politeness." Unfortunately, none of these concepts seemed to be present during our visit. The attitude of some employees was particularly inappropriate, with an unpleasant tone and completely unsuitable behavior towards customers. I very rarely leave negative reviews, let alone one-star reviews, but this experience was truly shameful. A minimum of respect and courtesy should be the foundation of any establishment open to the public. It is unacceptable to treat customers this way.

20/07/2026: We came as a family and were particularly disappointed. The galettes were very dry, burnt in places. Furthermore, there was a real lack of filling for galettes costing €15.

10/07/2026: Seemed a bit under pressure for the service. Some dishes seemed value for money- the fresh trout didn’t sadly. We have been before but this was lunchtime in the first week of the French school holidays. The views of the lake are stunning

08/07/2026: Tourist trap! Ants in one of the beverages, staff wasn't even surprised or didn't apologise. The pulled porc was burnt and the charcuterie and bread was probably from the day before. The view was nice

10/12/2025: The owner is an incredible and generous man. I chatted with him while waiting for my order, and all I want to do is go back. I highly recommend it if you like a warm welcome and good pizza.
