10/10/2026: Very disappointed with my evening. The spritz had no taste whatsoever. The cannelloni were drowning in a sickeningly sweet and tasteless béchamel sauce. The pizzas were sparsely topped with an enormous crust. And the worst part... the extras: a few olives on one pizza, a little bit of parmesan (usually it's left in a small dish). Very stingy. But I have no complaints about the waiter/waitress; they were very pleasant. It had been a long time since I'd been there, and this will be the last time.

29/08/2026: Two young secretaries talking amongst themselves, no greeting, in short, a huge and certainly very expensive tourist office but of no interest...an empty shell.

26/09/2026: This was my second time there. Unfortunately, we went on an evening of events in Lisieux, so the restaurant was packed. Despite this, our order took 40 minutes to be ready, with people being served before us even though they had ordered after us. After a 20-minute wait, we had to ask for our order, which still hadn't started to be prepared. We were then told it would be ready in 5 minutes, but we ended up waiting another 15 minutes. I can understand that with the crowds, it can be difficult for restaurant owners, but given that the cook and waiter were chatting with all the customers, who seemed to be regulars and very comfortable with themselves, they need to remain professional, especially when the restaurant is full. We weren't the only ones who had to wait so long. Nevertheless, the food remains of unparalleled excellence 😁

15/05/2026: Doesn't look too welcoming at first but overlook this. Owned by a lovely couple, lady at the counter, husband at the oven. Pizza are giants and good. I can usually finish a pizza without problem but I couldn't finish half of it! A great place for a great pizza.

19/04/2026: The three pizzas we ordered were very good, even if mine was a little overcooked. However, the staff was very friendly. We will definitely return.

06/10/2026: We were looking for a restaurant on a Sunday evening and stumbled upon Ambata. We had a lovely evening and a delicious dinner.

04/10/2026: I ordered the daily special, cod. It was tasteless and not fresh, even though we were by the sea. I had diarrhea an hour after leaving the restaurant.

19/10/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant, being a bit rushed before a visit. Initially, we were warmly welcomed. The quiche the waiter had recommended was no longer available, so we chose other dishes, which were quite decent. The tea served was awful (lukewarm water that smelled of chlorine). As for the owner's attitude towards his employees, it was appalling! The woman behind the bar had tears in her eyes from being constantly reprimanded, and the young waitress was repeatedly and loudly told off in front of the customers! Unacceptable behavior!

19/10/2026: Excellent food, friendly service. Location directly overlooking Notre Dame. Reasonable prices.

30/09/2026: A team that takes great care, a wide selection, attractive prices, especially with the loyalty card.

28/09/2026: Refused discount on Hills brand cat food even though I have a loyalty card???? It cost €31 for 1.5 kg, so where's the explanation?? I didn't get one on the phone, it's the brand!!! AVOID FROM NOW ON
