29/06/2026: We booked this bar to celebrate a birthday and reserve the downstairs room. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing from beginning to end. The service from the sole waiter was simply catastrophic: no smile, no friendliness, and he clearly gave the impression that every request was a problem. When it came time to pay the bill (which was over €20), he initially refused to accept our card payment. We had to insist and negotiate before he finally agreed, which is completely unacceptable. The cocktails, unfortunately, did not improve matters: they were very disappointing, tasteless, and clearly not up to the standard one would expect from a bar. It's a real shame, as we chose this establishment to celebrate an important occasion. Between the frosty welcome, the unpleasant service, and the poor quality of the drinks, we left with a very bad impression. A serious review of their customer service is more than necessary. Avoid at all costs!!!

23/07/2026: A terrible experience at this motorway service station McDonald's. We ordered two 40cl iced coffees. Instead, the cashier served us two 25cl drinks. When we pointed out the mistake, the manager immediately became aggressive and irritated, as if we were responsible for the situation. After some discussion, she finally served us the drinks we had actually ordered. However, instead of apologizing for this obvious error, she had the nerve to say, "Well, there you go, you got three drinks for the price of one." This remark was completely inappropriate. We never asked for more than what we paid for. We simply wanted to receive the items we ordered. Not only was the mistake not acknowledged, but we also felt like we were being treated like freeloaders, or even thieves. Appalling customer service, no business sense, and no respect for the customer. A simple apology would have sufficed, but apparently that was asking too much. I strongly advise against staying at this establishment.

01/06/2026: I'm not criticizing the mistake, which can happen to anyone, but the way it was handled. Paying €15 for a Margherita and receiving it burned is already unpleasant; reporting it politely and receiving arrogance and poor customer service in return is even more so. For this reason, I wouldn't recommend it.

01/04/2026: Warning: This hotel is of very poor quality. When I arrived in the room, there was a large amount of hair on the floor; it couldn't have been an oversight… So, it seems the room hadn't been cleaned. There were only sheets and, I hope, a toilet. The shower was old and dirty, and the soap was watered down. There was a hairbrush in the bathroom cabinet. There was absolutely no soundproofing… and I'm used to staying in Parisian hotels. I'm reporting this to my employer, and be wary of other reviews; almost all of them are left by tour guides.

10/05/2026: A continuing disappointment. We've been coming from Saverne to this excellent pastry shop for years, but we're finding it increasingly difficult to navigate! The service is becoming increasingly cold, with regular mistakes, poorly cleaned tables, and the bread is sometimes worse than supermarket bread... The pastries are still delicious, but the price should be justified by an impeccable atmosphere! This needs to be addressed urgently for this Alsatian establishment, which relies heavily on its reputation and location...

19/07/2026: The French café in Luxeuil-les-Bains has changed hands. The new owners are very kind people. We, the former customers, need to give them time to get to know us and our habits, and be understanding, because they are doing their best, and I commend them. Therefore, I recommend this establishment to all visitors, spa-goers, and locals. The prices are reasonable, and all the food and drinks are of excellent quality. The breakfast croissants, waffles, and crepes are excellent, the ice cream is superb, and the coffee is equally good. Come and meet the new owners and their staff; they will welcome you with a smile. There's a terrace with beautiful flowers. So, I recommend this establishment to all my followers (more than 200,000 people, and that number is increasing by 10,000 people a week sometimes). Thank you all. Our town can still improve, as some told me when Laurent Seguin was appointed president of the General Council. There is still much to be done by the Mayor and his municipal council, but little by little, the bird builds its nest. It's up to our elected officials to do what is necessary for Haute-Saône, regardless of their political affiliation. Thank you. Bruno, today, Sunday, July 12th, I went to three places and couldn't get a coffee. Reason: 6:50 PM, the machine is cleaned. 7:00 PM, Le Chiquito. The machine is cleaned. At L'Orient, it was possible. Some shopkeepers in Luxeuil think they're in Paris, even though it's possible to get a coffee after 10:00 PM, but with a surcharge. The only shopkeeper who served me a coffee was at L'Orient. I want to point out that it wasn't the owners who were in their establishment. Having worked for over 20 years in restaurants and bars, I know all the staff should be re-educated.

19/07/2026: A very nice, cozy café in the old town. It's a great place to linger and has a lovely selection. The service is very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended, and I will definitely come back.

13/05/2026: No wait, ordered the set menu, reasonably priced. Our starters were very good. However, the meat was tough, with many crunchy pieces, which was a shame. Desserts were fine, a yogurt with honey and nougat.

23/07/2026: Great restaurant on the Marcel Proust promenade, right at the foot of the Grand Hotel. The food lives up to the friendliness, kindness, and humor of the servers. I highly recommend this restaurant for a pleasant experience.

23/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at Lanca restaurant, right on the beach promenade in Cap d'Agde! The setting is beautiful and very pleasant. The service is quick and friendly, and the whole team is very welcoming. The meals are generous, with plenty to choose from for both children and adults, and the dishes are delicious. Special mention goes to the daily special and dessert, which were excellent! The desserts were also delicious. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend this restaurant. We'll definitely be back!
