20/09/2026: For my first time, I was more than satisfied. The couscous with lamb ragù was simply excellent. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the couscous fine. The tea at the end of the meal was perfect. Thank you to the owner, who was incredibly kind.

09/09/2026: The saleswoman was awful. She yelled at my eleven-year-old son, who had come to buy his lunch, because his receipt was torn. She chased him down the street, calling him every name under the sun. The child is traumatized and refuses to go back. She could have simply explained the problem; there was no need to be so rude.

10/09/2026: Simple and delicious. The Niçoise salad had good tomatoes, good tuna, and anchovies. The quiche was very good. Wine by the glass was €6. We really need more restaurants like this: fresh ingredients and great taste.

10/10/2026: Disappointing service. Unpleasant waiter, nonexistent organization (bread arrived mid-meal, glasses not cleared, no knife for meat or cheese, dessert forgotten for one guest), and limited knowledge of the products. As for the food, the quality doesn't justify the prices: several items are far from what was advertised. Overall, a disappointing experience that I wouldn't recommend. In Nevers, there are much better restaurants offering far better value for money and with much more pleasant waiters and waitresses.

25/09/2026: Excellent lunch menu at very reasonable prices. A new, young chef uses no pre-made ingredients, but prepares many dishes from scratch. Attentive and friendly service completes the experience. Highly recommended!

25/08/2026: First morning of vacation in this picturesque Alsatian village and first disappointment when tasting the pastries (croissants and pain au chocolat)... were they even fresh? That's the question: a bit dry, not very crispy... so different from last year. It's a real shame. The baguettes taste much more artisanal than the pastries. For our midday aperitif, we had pretzels, which unfortunately got damp, so we couldn't compare them to last year.

21/08/2026: Great bakery and very friendly staff. We enjoyed the (fairly priced) breakfast with great coffee and juice there every morning during our stay. The bread over the counter is also very tasty (minus the bretzel).

12/10/2026: Lovely hotel, very clean and friendly service. We loved our night after a long bike ride 👌👏👏

15/09/2026: We were greeted by a very kind employee. The restaurant is closed in the evening, but we were served a good meal. The room was a bit small, but fine for one night, and above all, there was no noise from the courtyard. The breakfast was generous. The owner was super friendly. The location is ideal for parking. And most importantly, the hotel is pet-friendly—in this case, our two Yorkies who follow us everywhere. We had a really pleasant stay.

08/10/2026: Nothing to add. A very pleasant surprise, initially booked by default. A very warm and genuine welcome. A simple menu, sourced from local producers (IMPORTANT). One of the best tartares I've ever had (hand-cut, fresh). Just one minor point: perhaps the tartare could be cut a little thinner. I'll be back!
