11/07/2026: Stopped in Luc this afternoon for an ice cream break! The two young women were very friendly, and what I'll remember is that it cost me 14 euros for 5 ice creams, but it was worth every penny. The ice creams were generous, and that's why we'll be back. I recommend it for ice cream!

19/07/2026: A restaurant with a warm welcome and delicious food. We arrived with a stroller, and they didn't hesitate to make room for it, find us a shady spot, and even warm up my meal because it was time for the baby's bottle. Really lovely. Thank you again, I highly recommend it.

18/07/2026: When all the restaurants in Grau-du-Roi turn you away at 9:15 pm, there's one place you absolutely must try! A warm welcome and atmosphere! And the food is delicious, offering excellent value for money!! Fantastic!! Thank you to this team!!

16/07/2026: No power outlets available. Expect noise upstairs. Mosquitoes and midges are also present. (Remember to ask for the code for the downstairs restroom to avoid going upstairs unnecessarily.) A refresh of the playlists would also be appreciated.

15/07/2026: Avoid this restaurant! July 15, 2026 at 8:00 PM I waited over an hour to be served, even though there weren't many customers. The fries arrived cold, and the drink was served without ice. I asked for replacement fries and a new drink, but the staff refused, saying it wasn't possible. No compensation was offered, and no solution was proposed. A very bad experience, both in terms of service and customer service. I do not recommend this restaurant. The worst McDonald's in France, even in Europe, that I've ever seen.

26/05/2026: I want to point out a practice I find misleading at this pizzeria. The Too Good To Go app is supposed to combat food waste by offering unsold items from the day. However, this establishment offers the same vegetable pizzas every lunch and dinner, and has been doing so for a very long time. It doesn't seem to be genuine unsold items, but rather a way to conduct business through the platform, which goes against the app's principle. Most other businesses genuinely use this service to avoid food waste, unlike this pizzeria, which continually offers the same products. Consumers deserve more transparency and respect regarding the use of this type of service.

21/07/2026: The food was excellent. The waitress, probably the owner, had everything under control despite the busy atmosphere and was very friendly. I'd gladly come again.

14/07/2026: Wow, their "paillé" (a type of potato pancake) is amazing! A perfectly cooked ground beef patty sandwiched between two layers of grated and fried potatoes, all served on a bed of lettuce, tomatoes, and fresh onions. Then, instead of cheese, they drizzled it all with just the right amount of raclette cheese sauce. We're not counting calories, but the texture and taste were truly perfect and sublime. I also highly recommend their apple tart. The service was incredibly friendly. Thank you for the warm welcome, especially for my friend who was feeling nauseous.

18/11/2025: The owner is obnoxious, unprofessional, and unpleasant 🤮 in these comments. Who would explain why not mentioning a missing bottle on the bill would be incomprehensible for a biker (considering the price of Harleys!!)? However, the waitress "offered" digestifs, only to charge us up to €9 for them... left us with a bad taste in our mouths and we won't be going back. However, the food is good.

22/08/2025: A real precious gem. Out for one night in the labyrinth that is Alpe d’Huez, you want to experience something special, but be really comforted rather than shocked. Well presented, plentiful and delicious dishes. Lucky the waitress spoke some English, because our French was quite stretched by the Menu… Ordered a mix of steak and chips, plat du jour (chicken vol-au-vent), pasta, fish and chips and something different, which became my highlight as the mum who cooks at home and could use a break: the tataki de thon, now in my all-time top-2 dishes! Choice of desserts: mix of unusual and mainstream, just what you want for a special night. Welcoming host, the type of human you feel you could be friends with - not to be taken for granted in this day and age. Wish we went back to try the other things on the menu.

17/09/2025: A great place to stop for lunch after visiting the market. Between us, we had omelette, mussels, chicken and beef burgers, and we all enjoyed our meals. We sat in the barn, out the back. Prices are very good, about 16 Euros each without alcoholic drinks. Thoroughly recommended.

02/07/2026: Very pleasant welcome. Excellent tournedos Rossini. However, I wouldn't recommend the Caesar salad to those who prefer it. The chicken wasn't breaded. Far too many croutons in my opinion.

07/06/2026: We stopped on the road quite by chance. What a great find! A family-run business specializing in catering and group events, but they can easily accommodate you. A charming place (we had lunch under the trees). The cuisine is traditional and expertly prepared. If we're ever in the area again, we'll gladly stop by again.

24/07/2026: Terrible service, no crowds at all, the waitress got the Tropicana flavor wrong. At the register, it was expensive, and you're on your own with what you bought; you have to beg for a bag and pack it yourself. 🤨 Disappointing. 🤢🤮🤮🤮
