11/07/2026: Decent portions sizes and good food. -1 point for the frozen tiramisu and the delay for taking the order.

03/07/2026: We were greeted welcome, even though it took some time to get a waiter's attendance so we could get a table. The table was nice, though. Ordering drinks took a bit too long, so we ordered food at the same time - aglass of wine, a bottle of water and two sodas, plus three pasta dishes and a pizza amomg 4 people. The drinks took their time and there was no water with the wine, but as I didn't explicitely ask for it it is okish (although a first for our week here). The food was delivered one by one. The pizza after about 30 minutes, the pastas a couple of minutes apart from 10 minutes later. The pastas were good and filling. The pizza looked a bit overbaked and dull. For some reason we still wanted desserts. In retrospect a short walk to one of the smiling gelato places would have been a delight. It took about 20 minutes before we coukd ask a waiter if we could have dessert, then another 5 before we actually could order. 15 minutes later we got them - a fridge cold crème brulée (but they put on the caramel cover) and two small tiramisus, which we later found out from pictures that was probably one tiramisu cut in two. The tiramisu was very moist, but good, while the crème brulée seemed to have slimy moist. The taste was not sour, just mediocre, but it looked disgusting. After 10 more minutes half of our table left, usually a cue for the waiters to come to the table. We still had to get the attention of a waiter (after some more wait), and then wait 10 more minutes for the bill. The waiter then showed me the terminal twice and asked if it was correct, in an indiscreet attempt at getting tipped. Not once during this 2h+ dinner did anyone ask if the food was good or if we wanted something more, like more drinks (they were almost empty before the food was served). (We could absolutely have walked from the restaurant earlier, with or without food or dessert,we could also have gone inside to ask for drinks, desserts or the bill.) I suggest to choose another restaurant, even if you live just opposite the street. We will certainly not go there again. We considered giving them a one star review, but since none of us got food poisoning, not even from the slimy crème brulée, we opted for an overall two.

10/06/2026: The welcome was appalling, the owner incredibly unpleasant—I've never seen anything like it! If you don't like customers, you should find another line of work. For a very polite request to close an inconvenient window (it was very windy that day), we were treated like dirt. We and our family have been customers often, and while the owner isn't exactly known for his joviality, it's shameful to receive such a simple request like that. My family and I will never set foot in that place again.

17/07/2026: Excellent beach bar. The owner and staff are incredibly attentive to customers. The food is delicious.

12/07/2026: We wanted to rent two sun loungers and a parasol (€30) but were turned away with the message "everything is reserved." Later, we wanted to get something to drink or eat. Again, "no, everything is reserved... only takeaway." Sorry, but what kind of business is that?

19/07/2026: Every time I visit, it's the same story: one or more items are always missing from the menu. And yet, I come at perfectly normal times, right in the middle of lunch or dinner service (around noon or around 7 p.m.). So it's not a matter of stopping by just before closing time. What's most surprising is that many customers around me also complain that the menu is regularly incomplete. An occasional shortage is understandable, but when it becomes a regular occurrence, it's truly frustrating. We come hoping to be able to freely choose from the menu, but that's almost never the case. I hope the inventory management will be reviewed, because it's a shame for a restaurant that could offer a much better experience.

30/06/2026: Everything is homemade with quality ingredients, and you can taste the difference. I love going there whenever I'm in Bordeaux to enjoy a scone and tea for breakfast. It's also ideal for an afternoon snack; the pastries are delicious.

23/05/2026: Excellent lemon tart (still a little warm, but that proves how fresh the pastries are) in which you can taste the true flavor of the ingredients carefully chosen by the pastry chef. Bonus: the terrace on a quiet street. The owner is a bit pushy about ordering more... but there's no obligation to do so.

29/05/2026: Excellent experience at Elkarim restaurant! We just had lunch there and everything was absolutely delicious. The appetizers were succulent: the tuna brick and the briouat were perfectly prepared, crispy, and bursting with flavor. The lamb and chicken tagines were also excellent: tender meat, perfectly balanced spices, impeccable cooking… you can taste the quality and Moroccan expertise in every dish. And to finish, the mint tea was the perfect touch to end this wonderful meal. A fantastic find in La Défense, I highly recommend it!

13/05/2026: I recently visited your restaurant with some friends, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing from the moment we arrived. The problem wasn't removing a place setting for someone who hadn't ordered; that's perfectly understandable. What bothered us most was the way it was done and the tone used, which we found disrespectful and unprofessional. We tried to calmly explain our feelings, but the reactions of both the staff and the manager only made things worse. As a Moroccan myself, I am very familiar with the importance of hospitality and respect for the customer in our culture. Unfortunately, I found neither this warmth nor this kindness during our visit. It's a shame, because it even put us off trying the restaurant's cuisine.
