01/08/2026: We booked this hotel for one night for our arrival late into Paris from a transatlantic flight. We needed to take the TGV out of the Gare de Lyon the next morning, so we wanted something convenient to the train station. This turned out to be an excellent choice: very good location to the Gare and to the easy Metro access to the rest of Paris, and shops and restaurants within easy walking distance from the hotel. We had a small room on an upper level that had a nice bathroom and shower. The folks who were working the hotel when we arrived were very courteous, helpful and welcoming. While we didn't have dinner that night at the hotel, both the menu and the dishes that we saw being served looked truly delicious. Next morning we had breakfast at the hotel, and it was filling, tasty and a pleasant ambience. The only reason for not giving it a 5-star for the room was that we couldn't open the window even a centimeter, because there was an old bar that pigeons would come and roost on, and we didn't fancy having to deal with them in the room. I don't know if other rooms have this issue, but I suggest that the owners consider removing the roost.

10/05/2026: Good French hotel...a bit dated - but cool staff!

08/02/2026: A perfect dinner from start to finish! Impeccable service, nothing to complain about except thank you for this wonderful experience!

26/07/2026: 👍🏻 Warm welcome Excellent food We had dinner as a group of four and everything was truly delicious: tagine, Moroccan salad, briouates, lamb skewers, and pastries. We will gladly return. Thank you.

28/06/2026: Birthday meal for 20 people. The restaurant staff went above and beyond to make us happy; the welcome, the delicious food, and the friendly atmosphere were all exceptional. I personally enjoyed the chicken, prune, and almond tagine, and I must say, it was absolutely delicious! Thank you to the entire team for making this an unforgettable moment! I highly recommend it.

24/07/2026: Excellent restaurant with a warm welcome and superb food! I highly recommend it 👍

24/07/2026: A truly beautiful establishment, with welcoming, friendly, and warm staff. As friends with a Vietnamese couple who own a restaurant in Aubagne, I'm usually very critical when comparing different restaurants, as my friends are exceptional cooks. But the cuisine at Le Jardin de Jade rivals theirs; I'd place it on the same level. My wife had Thai salad, I had Chinese salad, followed by beef satay on a hot plate and sweet and sour pork—yum, what a treat! Thank you, gentlemen; we'll be back on our next visit, you can be sure of that.

11/04/2026: My wife and I have been here three times and we’ve always gotten the buffet. There are very limited choices on the buffet and the sterno flames beneath the trays don’t keep the food warm. They seem to try very hard to not put much food out so the trays are often empty or near empty. Also, the man that runs the place is not friendly. The last time we went, three of the warming flames had gone out so the food was refrigerator cold. That was the last straw, so we won’t be back.

28/02/2026: We went for dinner today and the service was excellent. We enjoyed the food, and the restaurant was very pleasant, with a reasonable number of customers.

09/09/2026: ⚠️ This bar/pub claims to be trendy and festive, catering to night owls, but it's anything but, and for good reason: 🔴 The bartender is incredibly arrogant and unpleasant: he gets offended and indignant as soon as his customers show a little too much enthusiasm (exclamations, shouts, a girl dancing...etc...) 🔴 The drink prices are particularly exorbitant 💸 for Saint-Étienne: 👉Example: ⚠️ €12-14 for a mojito, ⚠️ €4 for a shot‼️😱👎 🔴 The decor is impersonal and neglected (the vinyl banquette is torn in places) 👉Very few seats 🔴 The music is deafening; you can't hear yourself speak‼️ 🔊🦻 👉In short, a place to avoid at all costs: 👉Too expensive, very unfriendly, and really cramped, with no real atmosphere!‼️

06/09/2026: A fantastic spot! A friendly bar with a truly pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The staff is welcoming, smiling, and attentive. It's the perfect place to have a drink with friends, chat quietly, and enjoy a great time in a warm and inviting setting. A great vibe; you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. I highly recommend it! 👌

07/08/2026: Le Break is an island of kindness in the heart of the Puys! Olivier is fantastic, handsome as a god, with incredible phrasing and an amazing sound, and even the toilets are amazing! Thank you, Olivier. To all the stranded BlaBlaCar passengers, we'll bring back the reusable cups in a year or two, we promise.

13/09/2026: Very welcoming and helpful owner, exceptional cocktails to drink!

29/08/2026: One of my favorite bars. Warm welcome and a great atmosphere.

18/06/2026: The bar has a military-style decor, but it's pleasant and original.

09/06/2026: Top-notch and very friendly roadside restaurant

07/06/2026: A fantastic discovery! We won a gift voucher and took advantage of a short break to use it at this hotel-restaurant not far from home. The place: Unique and very beautiful, and full of life. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the decor superb. The food: The food is excellent! The chef knows her craft and how to work with ingredients (an amateur couldn't do that). From dinner to breakfast, it was quite exceptional. Quality and quantity: we truly enjoyed ourselves! The welcome: The owner, who manages both the service and the kitchen (hats off to her for her dedication!), is incredibly friendly and efficient. It was a pleasure to meet her and learn her story. Honestly, we had a wonderful time and we highly recommend it! Thank you.

06/08/2026: An unplanned stop but a wonderful discovery! A very warm welcome despite our late arrival (end of service). A lady who took excellent care of us, especially our child. High-quality, homemade meals made to order, ideal for those with a big appetite as the portions were very generous. Excellent value for money. If we're ever in the area again, we know where to eat!

03/09/2026: Hiding the payment terminal to set whatever price you want is very dishonest.

05/06/2026: When I miss Indonesia, I often crave Asian food. I was pleasantly surprised by this Thai restaurant in Montrouge. The dishes were delicious and full of flavor. The staff was also very polite and welcoming from beginning to end. A great place if you're looking for quality Thai cuisine in the area.
