11/07/2026: Great views…. But after a 1.30 hour trek up to it, to discover it doesn’t accept payment by card/apple, is disappointing! Take a packed lunch and plenty of water… this place won’t sell you any.

18/05/2026: A warm welcome awaited us; the owners are charming, dedicated, and incredibly attentive. Our beds were made (5 adults, 2 children), and there was even a fire waiting for us upon arrival! The food was delicious and satisfying after a hike. We had dinner and breakfast there. The 360° view of Mont Blanc and the surrounding area is breathtaking. I highly recommend this mountain refuge for families. Thank you to the hosts for these wonderful memories; we will be back!

06/06/2026: Food is good but drinks and service need improvement. Ordered two cocktails (margarita) first one was great, second one was completely different and frankly horrible. We had 3 separate waiters and the last one was incredibly abrupt and rude and basically kicked us out to free the room for his second service. We hadn't even finished our drinks and deserts but had to leave nevertheless. It's a pity as it's a neighbourhood restaurant so was hoping it would become a regular spot, but nobody needs this kind of treatment after a long week at work. Plenty of good restaurants with proper service in the neighbourhood.

20/04/2026: I have nothing to criticize except to say that it's a reliable place. I've tried many of their burgers and sandwiches. I often just order sandwiches to try a bit of everything. As a result, I approve of them all. The service is excellent; the young cashiers are courteous and helpful. The kitchen is fast and seems very well-organized. The restaurant was clean from the start. The prices are very reasonable for the quality. Of course, I recommend it and I'll be back.

13/05/2026: Disarmingly kind, even though I made a mistake with my reservation, they were kind and courteous regardless. Very comfortable bed, free parking, good bathroom, excellent cleanliness, and an extremely generous and plentiful breakfast in the morning.

09/05/2026: Located on the motorway to nowhere, our salvation last night was a lovely pub across the street: live music, efficient waiters, and good food. This morning, however, there's no hot water – quite a feat! The waitress was working alone and seemed a bit overwhelmed. At a room rate of €265, we should probably move on and find a better place.

13/07/2026: Back in Kabylia, where the scent of wood fills the air. Generous portion. Very good ✅️. We'll be back. 📍 The advantage is that we're not rushed to finish our meals...no, no. We're given the time to savor our food...and that's rare ✅️

05/06/2026: We booked for Mother's Day, and we had anything but a pleasant experience. The mocktails weren't good, and what's more, they took 30 minutes to arrive and had to be replaced because they were undrinkable. We arrived at 12:30 PM and weren't served until 3:30 PM! We were starving, and it wasn't for lack of asking when our food hadn't arrived. The meat was ordered "medium," but most of it arrived charred, and the couscous was bland. We didn't enjoy our meal at all. There was no space on the table to put our plates, and no water was available. The dishes are very expensive for what they are. We were very disappointed with this restaurant, which had been described to us as "exceptional"!

07/04/2026: We went to Jardin Tropezina in Ramatuelle and had booked the first available time slot. Unfortunately, we were seated at a table in the middle of the restaurant, not outside with a view of the beach – a disappointing start. The food and drinks were mediocre at best. The taste was okay, but nothing special – especially considering the prices. I had a burger for about €46, which was good, but rather small and came with very few sides. For a third of the price, you can get significantly more, and often even better quality, at many good burger joints. What was really disappointing was that, as is customary there, a serving table was set up next to our table. Our main course had been sitting there for several minutes while we were still enjoying the amuse-bouche. Shortly after, it was practically snatched from our hands so the main course could be served. This seemed unnecessarily rushed and poorly planned. Overall, the service felt very rigid and almost over-organized. The waiters were friendly, but very focused on following their service plan – which sometimes made them seem a little tense. The ambiance, however, is truly outstanding and hard to beat – you're definitely paying for the location and the atmosphere right on the beach. All in all: a beautiful place – especially for those who see money as just a number.

16/07/2026: We had a very good lunch on Tuesday, market day; the rib-eye steak was excellent, and my wife had the mussels with samphire. Thank you!

12/07/2026: Impeccable service, great location by the sea. Shaded terrace. Delicious mussels. A particular favorite was the one with Maroilles cheese. Warm welcome. Perfect.

28/06/2026: The meal was very good, it's a shame there was a billing error and I only noticed it just now when I got home... I was charged €4.50 for a Suze when that aperitif wasn't for my table... The error was refunded by the Bistrot du Palais!

21/06/2026: Bad experience. We were in a group with children at the Fête de la Musique (Music Festival), and when we ordered, we asked for a carafe of water. The waiter told us that the owner didn't want to serve carafes of water but that we could have a bottle for €6.50 per liter. It's shameful and unacceptable not to serve tap water in the heat that evening.

06/07/2026: Outrageous! Four measly, very basic shortbread cookies for €3.20... Everything is overpriced in this bakery, without offering anything extraordinary.

04/06/2026: It's not a restaurant, just a self-service cafeteria. The menu we saw on our way in, just for a visit to the park, was fine... but when we came for lunch, there was only the daily special. The menu is only available on weekends... and the daily special was "a chicken cooked in broth with zucchini (the heads still on)," and the overall taste was "average." In short, we asked at reception to see the menu before going in, since we couldn't go out to eat and then come back... but we were disappointed when we returned from a short walk around the castle to find the menu had changed and there was nothing left but the daily special!
