11/05/2026: We happened to stumble upon it and were pleasantly surprised. The place is small but very quaint and the food is spectacular (the duck breast with potatoes is one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten).

19/05/2026: A micro-diner with delicious dishes. You can order as much as you want, pay by weight, and the prices are reasonable.

18/05/2026: We met very kind owners, both of whom were very nice. The food was delicious. If you want to try Asian or Chinese food, this is one of my recommendations. The location is perfectly accessible, near Gare de Montparnasse, within walking distance. You can eat in restaurants and take away. We will definitely come back again 100% 😀 I'm Thai, and I feel so happy to be able to eat this in France. Thank you, Auntie and Uncle!

02/07/2026: High prices, but that's typical for the region; deplorable service, there are four people to serve, but every lunchtime there's a 10-minute queue.

27/06/2026: I bought chocolate croissants and regular croissants this morning (Saturday, June 27, 2026). They were smaller than usual; this should have been mentioned at the time of purchase. The welcome and service need improvement; the woman was not at all friendly, bordering on irritated!

29/07/2026: Great place: delicious sushi, gyoza, and skewers. The staff was super friendly; I arrived a bit late, but they still took the time to give me helpful information and answer my questions. And the service was incredibly fast—honestly, I have nothing to complain about. It's a real pleasure to find such good value for money with such great service!

03/07/2026: Terrace service, 2 covers Only one choice of draft beer. 2 set menus (main course + dessert) Both main courses were plated and poorly prepared. Main course 1: Fish in a butter sauce, overcooked and boiled, served with plain rice. Side salad: Torn, inedible leaves, a small piece of tomato without dressing. Main course 2: Salad with torn leaves. Bacon pieces were heated in large quantities but lacked flavor. We skipped dessert for fear of what was to come. Positive points: The beer wasn't bad and the sparkling water was refreshing.

22/05/2026: A cold welcome and snobbish responses to my questions about the Madagascar chocolate ice cream, which ultimately tasted of absolutely nothing. Dark chocolate? Yes, they told me haughtily. Ice cream that was only snobbish in name. €3.20 worth of ice cream full of air that left me with a terrible stomach ache. Tourists, avoid this place.

23/05/2026: We were very glad to find a place in Foncine-le-Bas as the weather was bad. The manager was available and accommodating regarding our arrival time. The hostel and the room were a bit dated but adequate for our needs as a refuge. However, €225 for two people for this room, a bland menu (a small chicken leg of unknown origin and a potato gratin for the main course, and a homemade rhubarb tart for dessert, which was appreciated). Breakfast was also quite basic and of poor quality. We ordered two minimalist ham and white baguette sandwiches for the next day. The owner seemed exhausted from work and was rather rushed. The value for money was definitely not there. We then stayed at the Hôtel des Clochettes du Risoux in La Chapelle des Bois, a much better place for significantly less money. I should point out that my partner thinks I'm fair, but the poor boss, miskina, it's not right for her.
