06/06/2026: Our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The air conditioning didn't work during our entire stay, which seriously affected our comfort since we chose the hotel specifically for the air conditioning and the pool. We reported the problem immediately, and as compensation, the staff promised us a partial refund for the inconvenience. It was extremely hot, so we had to open the balcony door to sleep better; however, we were right above the kitchen, which was incredibly noisy and prevented us from getting a good night's rest. In addition, the refrigerator in the room was dirty, with an unpleasant smell of spoiled food. We also reported this, but it was never cleaned during our stay. The most frustrating thing was that, after we left, they continued to assure us that the refund would be issued. Several days have passed, and we still haven't received the money, a definitive solution, or any response whatsoever. It feels like they were simply stalling to avoid fulfilling their promise. Unfortunately, the lack of maintenance, the poor attention given to reported problems, and the failure to honor commitments mean we cannot recommend this hotel. We hope they improve their service and, above all, that they fulfill the compensation they promise their guests.

20/09/2026: I highly recommend it!! The servers are very pleasant and welcoming; this place is a wonderful discovery and I will gladly return. It's wheelchair accessible, and the owners are very helpful in making access easier. The iced tea is excellent and reasonably priced, as are the Nutella crepes. Kudos for your warm welcome, which is rare these days... 😅😁

15/08/2026: The setting is idyllic, though a bit dated. The tapas weren't great. The price was high for the quantity and quality. The spritz was served in a jam jar with a metal lid pierced for a straw… not ideal in terms of food safety, and… €8.50… Disappointed.

24/08/2026: A truly wonderful time at the Set Club. We had a delicious meal and the garden setting is absolutely lovely. It felt like a little taste of vacation that lingered on, which was very pleasant. The staff were very helpful and attentive. It had been three or four years since my last visit, and I'm so glad I booked a table to end August on a high note.

25/08/2026: A dismaying experience, confirmed by other reviews. Refusing a little water for an animal in the sweltering heat on the pretext that the shop sells water and is under no obligation to provide it, responding curtly to a customer simply asking for bread… all of this demonstrates a real problem with their attitude. In Brittany, most businesses welcome customers with a smile and a modicum of common sense. Here, it feels like every request is an inconvenience. A café where humanity and courtesy are clearly out of stock. Avoid at all costs. In response to the owner's reply: Hello, Your response does not reflect the situation I described. You mention bowls on the terrace—which I did not see and which you never even mentioned to me. That day, your only response was to tell me that you "sell water" and that you are under no obligation to provide it for free. My request was simply to fill a water bottle for my dog, and this was curtly refused. To say that "if I were a customer I would have noticed" is to shift the blame onto me, when a minimum of courtesy shouldn't depend on whether you're sitting on the terrace or have ordered anything. Therefore, I stand by my opinion: the problem isn't the presence or absence of a water bowl, but the attitude and lack of consideration shown when I made the request.

12/06/2026: Well located. Attentive staff. The rooms are clean, pleasant, and spacious. A few minor repairs to some of the electrical outlets would be helpful, but it's not a major issue.

08/06/2026: Hotel near Lyon Part-Dieu train station. The rooms are spacious but lack decoration. There are no pictures on the walls. The bathroom is also small and very basic. However, the common areas and the breakfast room are much more well-maintained. The breakfast itself is varied, including a selection of Lyonnais specialties. I recommend this hotel; the staff is welcoming.

20/09/2026: Beautiful terrace, friendly atmosphere, the staff are incredibly attentive, the food is varied and very enjoyable, the prices are reasonable – in short, everything to love! I highly recommend it.

14/09/2026: The service was terrible! We waited a very long time for a waiter to come. We had only ordered the daily starter five times and a Coke, as we just wanted a light meal. After 10 minutes, the Coke arrived. The waiter brought us the menus and said the dish wasn't available for us. We should choose something else. We assumed the dish was already sold out. A shame for us. Unfortunately, we were pressed for time and decided to leave. We still wanted to pay for the Coke. At the register, it turned out that the five dishes were still listed on the system. The bartender who tried to ring us up was very upset, since the dish was indeed available, but his colleague had told us otherwise. It seems our order simply wasn't profitable enough, and the bartender prioritized good service. He was very sorry about his colleague's actions and gave us the Cokes free of charge. Of course, he couldn't hide his displeasure with his colleague. Getting €70 for food and a drink in an hour, or just the price of a Coke, makes a big difference. The atmosphere is great. I can't comment on the food. The prices on the menu were a bit high, but I can't say whether they were justified since I never actually ate there and never will. If I ever come back to the area, I'll definitely avoid it, because first impressions are what count.
