21/07/2026: The worst thing I've ever eaten. I ordered a special banh mi, and the pork had an extremely strong smell and taste of rotten, spoiled meat. I don't even want to imagine how long that horror had been sitting outside. I only took one bite, spat it out immediately, and threw the rest away. I tried to report it on SignalConso: this restaurant has been deregistered since 2012. You're putting your customers in danger; you should be ashamed.

20/07/2026: I used to come here very often and I loved their banh mi, which I found absolutely delicious. The staff is also very friendly. Unfortunately, on my last visit, I saw a cockroach walking right between two sauce containers. I informed the owner and asked for a refund, which she gave me. It's really a shame because the food is good, but this lack of hygiene means that, unfortunately, it was my last time here.

20/07/2026: Disastrous! We came as a family yesterday for a quiet lunch. First of all, we asked the staff to wait a little while after our aperitifs were served so we could enjoy our drinks in peace and quiet. Barely two minutes later, our food arrived. We politely explained that we had asked for the main courses to be served a little longer so we could finish our aperitifs properly, to which the waitress replied haughtily, "Well, I don't just have you as customers, actually." When ordering our meals, I had also clearly specified that I wanted my meat well-cooked, so when I opened it, I was quite surprised to see that the meat was pink inside... I asked the waitress if it would be possible to cook it again, and she told me that "it's not possible, I have to change dishes because they won't cook my meat again" (I hadn't eaten from the plate, only cut a piece of meat). I was very disappointed because I liked the dish I had chosen, so I ordered another dish, but it took more than 30 minutes to arrive, which gave my family time to finish eating, so I ended up eating my meal all alone while the others watched me. Not to mention the waitresses' rudeness. When I explained that there were reasons why I couldn't eat undercooked meat, they acted like they were lecturing me, telling me it wasn't a big deal and that I could eat it, even though there were reasons behind it, which I obviously explained to them. All they wanted was for us to order the meal. One thing is for sure, we will never go back to this restaurant.

22/03/2026: Excellent experience. The room was spacious, well-decorated, and impeccably clean. It was completely quiet. The toilet was separate from the bathroom. The breakfasts were excellent, featuring high-quality products at an exceptional price. I recommend this establishment 200%!

19/11/2025: For those who appreciate the owner's casual and inappropriate familiarity, you're in for a treat... The customer isn't necessarily a friend... or a girlfriend, who's addressed condescendingly as "my dear lady." They act like they're in charge, while the "recession-proof" menu is barely university cafeteria fare. The selection is extremely limited. Okay for a quick fix if there's nothing else nearby, but certainly not for a proper meal. What a stark contrast to the previous owners! We miss you, Ms. V.

04/12/2025: Back in Paris, and the rain actually did me a favor. I was on my way to dinner when a sudden downpour pushed me into Milton à Bar in the 9th, and honestly, I’m glad it did. I ended up staying for a while, with my book, and was genuinely surprised by how charming the place is. The ambience is warm and cozy, the kind that makes you forget you had other plans. They’ve got a great music playlist, several board games scattered around, and a beautiful photography exhibition that gives the space real character. The service was quick and friendly, and the whole vibe just felt easy and welcoming. I didn’t get the full “evening” experience since I was headed elsewhere, but this little accidental stop left me wanting to go back with friends for a full experience.

08/08/2025: Very bad service, they didn't treat us right. They didn't want to serve us water and they didn't respect the happy hour. There are a lot of nice bars nearby please avoid this place

04/07/2026: A one-way trip. I rarely review restaurants, but for the price (€75), the experience was very disappointing. We ordered 7-8 dishes for takeout for 4 people. The wait was extremely long (over an hour standing), and nothing was prepared in advance, despite being located in a very lively area. The food was mediocre: overcooked spring rolls, rubbery appetizers, overcooked noodles, and bland main dishes. We also ordered a spicy beef curry that wasn't spicy at all (it was bland). All this with a woman who was unfriendly, even irritable. I absolutely do not recommend this Chinese restaurant; there are much better options on Avenue d'Italie.

01/01/2026: A truly warm and friendly welcome, and a very wide selection of crêpes and galettes that makes you want to try everything! I tried the Helena crêpe (if I'm not mistaken about the name): a real treat, delicious and incredibly generous. I highly recommend it!

13/09/2025: The restaurant looks nothing like the photos anymore… neither the food nor the galettes. The restaurant is dirty and unsuitable for families or people with reduced mobility. As for the quality of the galettes and crêpes, as well as the fillings, it's not "bad," but it's far from high-quality. The person there, however, is very kind, smiling, pleasant, and accommodating.

03/06/2026: I always take advantage of my trips to Orchies to pick up my pastries, and just one word: DELICIOUS! The texture, the buttery flavor, the taste of quality chocolate. When something is exceptional, it's inevitably in limited quantities. It's sad to think that it's better to go to a supermarket, as I've read in previous reviews. This bakery has mastered its craft perfectly, because yes, French baking tradition is an art, but unfortunately, few people appreciate it and prefer to save a few cents at the expense of quality and, above all, taste.

28/07/2026: One Tuesday in July, a few days after the Tour de France passed through twice, half the restaurants in Bourg were closed or no longer taking customers... The team at Rive Gauche continued to serve the many customers still waiting once the rush had passed. So we were able to eat (very well) after a day of sports. The pizzas were excellent and the terrace pleasant. A big shout-out to the staff and the chef who must have worked incredibly long hours!

28/07/2026: Was a bit skeptical due to some bad reviews, but also many good reviews. We ate pizzas and I can confirm it was excellent! Pizza came quickly and was hot. Taste great, great crust, sauce great. Service excellent. We sat outside by the river. Can recommend!

04/05/2026: We ordered takeaway pizzas; they were prepared quickly and were very good. The manager is very friendly.

01/04/2026: Appalling! The pizza was burnt... and tasteless! €15 for everything! That's way too expensive for what it was. Of course, they didn't even show me the pizza before I paid. Really unprofessional and unfriendly. I would have appreciated it if they had told me there was a problem with the oven, please wait a bit, they would remake my pizza. But apparently that's asking too much. What a shame!

28/07/2026: I checked on the ANCV website to see if they accepted holiday vouchers, but when I got there they refused. False advertising!! My order was cancelled and the waitress was furious! Too bad for them, another fast food place accepted them!!

25/07/2026: Service was good, but we noticed they were not wearing food service gloves. So kindly requesting McD to check on it.
