09/10/2025: A superb discovery! We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. The dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious, with meticulous presentation and truly exceptional flavors. The service was impeccable: warm, attentive, and above all, very natural, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The dining room decor is modern and minimalist, yet maintains a discreet elegance that creates a very pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

The place has been completely renovated and it's a real success: a cozy yet welcoming atmosphere, the service is always excellent, and the new chef has created a truly enticing menu. From appetizer to dessert, everything is just right, subtle, and very reasonably priced, especially considering the quality. You're likely to see us there often :))

31/05/2026: Nicolas was a fantastic stop for picking up French wine and spirits to bring home. We were looking for a good Armagnac and Bordeaux, and the staff were incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to understand what we liked and recommending excellent bottles within our budget. What really stood out was the level of service. The team was patient, informative, and made the shopping experience approachable, even for visitors who aren’t wine experts. They also carefully wrapped every bottle in bubble wrap, giving us peace of mind that everything would survive the flight home safely. That extra attention to detail was greatly appreciated. An added bonus for international visitors is that they offer tax refunds on purchases over €100, making it an even better place to stock up on wines and spirits before heading home. If you’re looking to bring back French wine or spirits as souvenirs, Nicolas is a reliable and convenient choice with excellent customer service.

02/05/2026: Avoid at all costs!!! For decades, this Nicolas store has been steadily declining. I much prefer the wine sections at Carrefour Market Seine (right next door) or Monoprix Dragon (a 5-minute walk), which are far more appealing: a wide selection, quality vintage wines, and over 30% cheaper (including top wines from famous Burgundy châteaux). As for customer service, which used to be this franchise's selling point, Gemini (Google's AI app) is far, far superior (perfect answers. Just ask it questions).

30/04/2026: The perfect sweet treat in Saint-Denis! The ice cream is always so smooth and delicious, with a wide selection of flavors and toppings. The service is quick and the staff is friendly, even during busy nights like game nights or movie nights. The shop is clean and conveniently located for a sweet break. A timeless pleasure you'll never tire of. I highly recommend it for a moment of pure indulgence!

19/07/2026: A quick stop on July 13th... no problems with the service, the staff were very friendly, and the terrace is a big plus! I recommend it.

11/06/2026: I went to this restaurant alone, which was already quite difficult for me. Unfortunately, my experience was very unpleasant. The waitress repeatedly commented aloud on the quantity of food I had ordered, in front of numerous other customers who then turned around to stare at me several times. I found this humiliating and completely inappropriate. The overall welcome wasn't particularly warm, with the exception of one waitress. The choice of dishes was quite limited considering the price, the wait was long, and even the water had a strange taste and was fizzy. As for the quality of the food, it didn't live up to the price. I am very disappointed by this experience and I will not be returning.

17/04/2026: We finally had dinner at Julien's after his injury, and nothing has changed since the last time! He welcomed us warmly, and his food is exquisite. It has the quality of a gourmet restaurant, but with the portions of a family-friendly establishment. Julien is also incredibly friendly and made our evening unforgettable. We can't wait to return.
