11/09/2026: Non-smokers, avoid this place! After clearly stating our request for a non-smoking area, we were seated on a supposedly non-smoking terrace. However, after 45 minutes, we found ourselves enveloped in smoke. This was the last straw. The welcome has never been warm, and it's clear that certain customers are given preferential treatment. So, this fourth or fifth visit will be the last. What was supposed to be a pleasant experience turned into a nightmare.

04/09/2026: It's always a pleasure to eat here. The food is very good, well-prepared, and consistent. The owner is always present, attentive, and takes great care of her customers. I highly recommend this place!

05/10/2026: The owner was very friendly. Unfortunately, the burger was inedible because it was so salty. The homemade fries were very good, but it's still expensive for a burger.

08/03/2026: Cute place with character and cosy vibes. The owner is a sweetheart the atmosphere welcoming. However, nearly 20 euros for a hot drink and pancakes (not even homemade, I recognized the brand!) is a tiny bit too much even for le Marais or posher areas. I had to double check the price at the moment of paying as I couldn't quite understand why the bill was so high

08/02/2026: Cute lil café tucked away in a silent street in Belleville. The owner is warm and kind, just wished the golden latte had more flavor, it felt mildly watery. The carrot cake and pancakes were nice :)

29/07/2026: This place no longer deserves its reputation; we didn't like it at all. Order: one taco and one kebab to eat in. Served: two tacos. We were in a hurry, so we gave up. The tacos were wrapped as if we were taking them away? A kind of mishmash where everything is mixed together like animal feed. We got six fries that were barely surviving, drowning in so much sauce. We hardly ate anything. We won't be back. The meat wasn't very good; it's expensive per kilo. A word to the wise! Bye

18/09/2026: A quick stop on the way back from vacation, and a very pleasant surprise. The setting is lovely, the service efficient and friendly. The dishes are generous and delicious, perfect for recharging before hitting the road again. A welcome little break.

03/08/2026: A pleasant, clean little restaurant. The owner was very welcoming. As for the dishes—Luc lak and stir-fried noodles with beef and stir-fried vegetables—they were truly generous, delicious, and visually stunning. Hand-carved carrots and sweet potatoes served as decoration!

28/03/2026: I came here for lunch with my friends: disaster. The waitress wouldn't let us finish our sentences when we ordered; she'd run off to serve other customers. I ordered a bowl of rice, which arrived 30 minutes after I asked the waitress multiple times where it was. The rice arrived cold. We then waited another 10 minutes to pay. In short, don't go there; it's awful.

30/06/2026: Arrived less than forty minutes ago. Asked for MORE sauce. The result? It's like I asked for liquid gold. Nothing in my galette, no taste of white sauce. The same in my container. It's not like I didn't pay for two ayran at €1.40 for 25cl. The sauce was more than enough, wasn't it? Even at the very least, you could have asked for an extra charge. The kebab was reheated in the microwave, I had to ask them to reheat it on the hob. In short, disappointed. Oh, and the fries... Frozen, all pale. So without sauce, inedible. In short, you need to rethink your approach. Thank you.

06/09/2026: The people who run this Tabac are both friendly and keen to pour beers. Amusing locals who welcomed the tourists, and it was a good laugh. Toilet was very clean too.

27/03/2026: Excellent chocolates, but when you ask, for Easter, to replace the flat chocolate inside an egg with praline fillings, even if it costs extra, the answer is no! Last year it was possible because "we had just opened our shop" (Saint-Aubin). Frankly, it's the first time I've been refused for this (my chocolate purchase ended up costing €104). I could have bought the filled chocolates separately and filled the eggs myself, but what would I have done with the contents of the egg? I came to place an order; I didn't expect to leave with anything. There are other, more accommodating chocolatiers in Angers!
