23/07/2026: We were walking around the streets looking for a place to have a late night drink and ran across this place. The man in the bar (whom I guess is also the owner) welcomed us in such a friendly and pleasent way. We ended up sitting there for a few drinks. The atmosphere was fantastic, the music in the background was perfect and everyone was so nice and welcoming. Merci!

17/07/2026: Excellent food and service! Very good selection of French meat, cooked to perfection, I highly recommend it!!

24/08/2026: Another attempt at this pizzeria, and I'm very disappointed. I think we'll call it quits. I ordered delivery Sunday evening at 9:14 PM. The gentleman on the phone was very polite and understood French well. He initially said 30 minutes 😉, then corrected himself to 45 minutes 😬, and finally it took 1 hour and 3 minutes. Well, luckily it's August and Sunday evening. Otherwise, what must it be like during normal hours and days? 😂😂😂 Anyway, that's not the worst part. What bothers me most is that the pizzas arrive lukewarm, almost cold, and that ruins the whole experience. They're supposed to be a fast-food service; they should hire staff. A pizza like that doesn't reheat well; you lose all the flavor. It's a real shame for them. Oh well, you'll lose a lot of customers. Delivery to Lower Clamart and Upper Clamart (7 minutes by scooter) 👍👍😋 I hope I'm not the only one, but given all the bad reviews, and lastly, €41.98 for two large pizzas is expensive for frozen products. I'll stick with my local shop next door, an Italian pizza maker who uses fresh ingredients.

24/09/2026: First of all, thank you to all the staff present that day. A huge THANK YOU ❤️ We celebrated my daughter and son-in-law's wedding in this magnificent venue. The setting itself was stunning; there was no need to embellish it further. From beginning to end, everything was a success. The aperitif was superb, and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it. The main course was very tasty, and everyone loved it. And the dessert—what a beauty! A tiered cake and a main cake that were as beautiful as they were delicious. We greatly appreciated both their discretion and their availability throughout the evening. The managers are very accommodating, and we were able to have the evening exactly as we wished, while of course respecting the venue. The thoughtful touches for the bride and groom touched us deeply. The children's area was a big hit. The venue was impeccably clean. What more can I say? You played a huge part in making their wedding celebration absolutely perfect. 04/08/2026: A 55-minute wait to be served... You need the sense to turn away customers when you can't provide proper service; it's the least you can do. You have better things to do. Otherwise, the food is mediocre, bland, and the kibbeh was a huge disappointment: the meat inside tasted awful.

30/09/2026: Back this morning at 5 a.m., after a few months of being unfaithful and... finally, a pleasant welcome, a smile, a chat, and delicious pastries. Pastries aren't enough, dear managers; the quality of service is far more essential.

29/09/2026: As for the products sold, their reputation speaks for itself; the quality is evident throughout. And the service is truly delightful. In short, I'll definitely be back often.

19/05/2026: The hotel wasn't clean, the staff, though somewhat helpful, looked worse for wear. The owner was grumpy and now I am about to engage in a payment dispute as he charged me on top of (crappy) Booking.com. Such a shame as the location is perfect and my room had a nice view of the gorge. This place could be quite special if there was some tender loving care. Really annoyed at the payment shenanigans.

17/05/2026: Fantastic stay at Hotel Le Belvédère, the staff are amazing! The hotel is in a great location, with a lovely view. A real bonus is the quiet, heated pool – very relaxing. Thanks again!

06/06/2026: Fast delivery, excellent salmon roll tuna avocado, a shame about the miso soup which was just water (no tofu, mushrooms etc.), average fried ravioli.

04/06/2026: Halles de la Martinière began in 1838 as a municipal food market in two halls arranged around Rue de la Martinière. Butter, eggs, poultry and other provisions were sold inside, while the street kept public movement open between the halls. The southern hall burned in 1873, was rebuilt, then disappeared when the street was widened in 1903, leaving the surviving stone hall as a reduced remnant of that original market. Its columns, iron grilles, lantern and later glass reopening show a building repeatedly adjusted where food trade met the street. After closure in 2011, it reopened in 2017 with local products, eating on site and takeaway, though that reuse entered fresh uncertainty with the cooperative grocery’s 2026 liquidation.

20/09/2026: The service was very average, which is a shame because the place is fantastic; either there was a lack of staff or they were tired from the season.

19/09/2026: A warm welcome awaits you at this restaurant located on the shores of Lake Carouge, shaded by parasols. Dogs are also welcome. It's a shame the parking is not free... We arrived at 11:30 am, right at the start of service, and were able to get a table for four without having booked in advance. The terrace then filled up nicely! The dishes were good and generous, the side dishes varied (hot and cold), the ice cream sundaes were delicious, but it was the pineapple dessert that was the biggest hit.

03/09/2026: If you want to be yelled at by a miserable old French lady, this is the place. The pizza is also mediocre. If you want to be yelled at by a cantankerous old French woman, this is the place. The pizza is very average, too.

02/09/2026: Apparently doesn't like tourists. Yells at children. Extremely unpleasant to adults. Being a restaurant owner isn't for everyone! I'm referring to the older brunette woman. The blonde woman is more professional... But anyway. Avoid this place; the village is beautiful, but I'll never set foot in that restaurant again.

29/06/2026: My review from April 2026 disappeared, so I'm posting it again. The dishes were very greasy; the scallops were swimming in butter and had no flavor. The "tortilla de patata," a kind of scrambled egg separated from the very greasy potatoes, was also a disaster. As for cleanliness, the table wasn't cleaned, and the water carafe was cloudy. The waitress was pleasant, which explains my good rating for the service; otherwise, it would be a zero. We won't be returning. I'm truly surprised this restaurant has 4/5 stars.

03/06/2026: I stumbled upon this extraordinary, almost timeless restaurant... friendly welcome, quick service, generous and delicious main course and dessert, ice-cold water, all for €17. Even if the dishwasher is a bit dirty, there's nothing to change; if there's a problem, we should help them—it's part of the city and country's heritage.

03/10/2026: I travel 20 km to enjoy their pizza, it's truly the quintessential Marseilles pizza, the crust is thin and airy, the sauce is nice and garlicky, truly delicious, there aren't any like it anymore, the lady who serves is very friendly, the pizza maker and her husband too, always smiling, I really recommend it 100000000000 percent.

13/09/2026: For me, McDonald's is definitely a brand to boycott. It's industrial, ultra-processed junk food that I find bad for your health, and the quality is terrible, plus there's zero hygiene... Boycott McDonald's 🇵🇸
