20/08/2026: An absolute must-visit in La Toussuire! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I come to Le Cairn very often, and it's by far my favorite place in the resort. Everything is perfect: The team: The staff are always super friendly, welcoming, and warm. The food: Their pizzas are simply the best around! The setting: The terrace with its lounge area is incredibly pleasant for relaxing in the sun. The atmosphere: The bowling alley and pool table are a real bonus for spending quality time with friends or family. If you're looking for the best place to go in La Toussuire, don't hesitate for a second!

21/06/2026: A family-run restaurant and bar with simple but tasty food. The prices are very reasonable. There's air conditioning inside, which is a welcome feature in hot weather. The staff is very friendly. Good value for money, I recommend it.

25/05/2026: The staff were super friendly, the slopes were immaculate, and there were always free runs available during the two days my girlfriend and I went. We had a fantastic time for a really great price (especially thanks to the Sunday offer which was a fantastic deal), so we highly recommend it!

17/09/2026: Sure, the food is good, but they're real rip-off artists. Maybe it's only 2 or 3 euros, but the customer's share adds up quickly. It's not the first time they've ripped me off by 2 euros. Honest man of the hour, I'm disgusted, seriously. (2 Lebanese menus for 24 euros, is that normal? I don't think so, I have the screenshot on my account just in case.)

01/09/2026: We stayed at the hotel near the pizzeria. The service was very polite and efficient, and the pizzas were delicious and well prepared. It was lovely to sit on the terrace, and because we were staying at the hotel, we also received a 10% discount on the already low price. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone staying at the hotel.

It has everything you expect from a true mountain restaurant: a family atmosphere, a warm welcome, and a smiling team that takes the time to connect with its customers. The dishes are generous, deliciously prepared, and perfect after a morning hike. You can feel the family spirit at the heart of the establishment, and it truly makes all the difference. The view is magnificent, and the atmosphere is friendly; you feel right at home as soon as you arrive. It's the kind of place we recommend without hesitation and where we want to return every time we're in Risoul. Thank you to the whole team for this wonderful experience!

15/08/2026: A very pleasant setting for a hiking stopover. The food was quite good. The waitress was friendly and efficient, but the gentleman (the owner, I believe) seemed bothered by our presence and was very unpleasant. It's a shame he was the only negative point of our family outing.

05/09/2026: We waited over an hour before being served, to the point where we had to ask about our order after waiting for over an hour. When our order finally arrived, the side dish was missing. We were then asked what was missing, even though we had specifically ordered it and it should have been checked before serving. The pasta and chicken were also quite dry. On the other hand, the chicken curry was excellent, as were the shrimp. The dishes were really good, but the wait time and service need improvement.

21/06/2026: I stayed two nights in a female 6-people room. Overall I enjoyed my time here and would book it again - especially as a solo traveler. Here is what I liked: - the beds are comfortable, the sheets soft - the receptionists were friendly - nice location, easy to walk to from the city center and the main station. Also the neighborhood looks beautiful - the breakfast is a good selection, although expensive - we had two bathrooms in a room of 6 and stayed there with 3-4 people. That was a quite nice bathroom to person ratio - the bathrooms were clean too and looked rather modern / neutral - the other people staying in my room were very nice - I felt safe Here is what I would have preferred to be different: - there is no air conditioner in der room, it gets really hot during the day and if the night is warm too, it does not cool down, no matter how long the windows are opened. If someone has problems with heat at night I would not really recommend this place for a summer night. - you need a 1-euro coin to use the locker in the room. If I had known I would have brought one - there is no wifi in the rooms and the wifi in the rest of the building had no internet connection when I tried to connect. That could have been better

05/06/2026: Stay in a modern design hotel but with disadvantages in hot weather. I liked the modern design the 24 hour reception. The room was at the 3rd floor and during the days we stayed it was very hot outside and we couldn’t sleep. The room wasn’t air conditioned. Also the water in bath wasn’t stable and it changed from hot to cold and reverse. Breakfast must have more variety(eg juices nutella chocolate, hot egg crambles) and more hot dishes.

02/06/2026: I ate there tonight with my girlfriend and I have to admit I was quite disappointed. The welcome wasn't particularly warm and the wait was very long before we were served. As for the food, that's where the disappointment really hit. I ordered a rump steak: the meat was good quality, but the portion was really tiny for the price. The side dishes were also quite limited, with few potatoes and rather bland green beans. My girlfriend had a croque-madame which turned out to be quite dry and tasteless. It's a shame, because it was our first visit and we wanted to experience the restaurant properly. Unfortunately, this experience doesn't exactly make us want to come back.

16/08/2026: It's true they offer smoking until 1 a.m., but the staff's friendliness leaves much to be desired. Not even a smile, you practically get yelled at. In short, it's better to come during the day with the young guy who's actually pleasant! I've been several times in the evening and had a bad feeling, almost like I was intruding, but I'm glad some people come! Anyway, avoid this place if you don't need cigarettes after work.

22/08/2026: Fantastic discovery! Very warm welcome. I had onion soup and for dessert a delicious Basque cake with cream. Thank you for your cheerful service. Excellent cook, I'll definitely be back.

17/08/2026: A very, very disappointing experience. I'm giving it one star because zero isn't an option... The welcome was very poor, cold, I'd even say glacial... but with a smile that was more than forced! I think you should close the restaurant if your customers bother you... In short, I won't say any more... I do not recommend this restaurant. It's better to travel a few kilometers and support those who actually want to work.
