30/09/2025: Very good food, highly recommended. We were very well served for a group of 30 people.

10/08/2025: Shaded terrace in the garden. Very warm welcome. We had a roasted Camembert and a Caesar salad, classic recipes but served in a very original way. Very good. Don't hesitate to go up the street to the center of the village.

24/01/2026: I'm forced to leave at least one star to give a review. And that's already far too much! What a disgrace! We called three weeks in advance to book a place at this establishment, an hour and 45 minutes away, and it was simply closed! Of course, no one answers the phone. Thanks for ruining our wedding anniversary, because at this hour it's hard to find anything else!

06/08/2026: Avoid this pizzeria! Under the pretext that the person taking my order made a mistake, I was served a Vosges salad without potatoes instead of some kind of pizza with potatoes. So far, so good, except for a very inappropriate and unpleasant remark accusing me of making a mistake and saying it was my fault! Everyone else at the table confirmed my order. When you run a business, you avoid this kind of remark and take responsibility for your mistakes, which is the least you can do! I will never set foot in this establishment again!

05/07/2026: We just devoured the Vosges salad and the four-cheese pizza. Delicious, both of them. The two people working tonight were super friendly and incredibly fast. In short, a first visit and we'll be back! 👌🏻 Thank you

24/07/2026: So I knew it before, it was very good, last week we went there with a work colleague, and then surprise, a couple there, not speaking French, no welcome, open but no food, we didn't understand everything....

04/09/2026: The staff are unfriendly, they rip off customers, the prices displayed are misleading, and they charge for cutlery (forks, knives) if you eat in. Not even a smile. And they make sure you pay more for the set menus. I strongly advise against going there.

18/09/2026: So, this bar was our go-to spot for a few years. The owners were friendly, down-to-earth, business-minded, generous, etc. Since this new owner arrived, I didn't know until a month ago that he was an employee, but I quickly realized it when my white wine order was simply plonk. He changed it without any attempt at compensation, serving me another equally disgusting wine and charging me for both. With the previous owner, I always ordered a decent, fruity wine. So, the moral of the story is, he orders and serves plonk. It can happen, a wine gets some fresh air, the owner tastes it and recognizes it, but he tasted it and insisted that's how he liked it. So, he's clearly dishonest, stingy, not a good customer, and grumpy when he speaks, etc. We won't be back! And of course, people who drink beer or pastis won't be disappointed... unless he skimps on the pastis, which is likely to happen soon! And my 6 stars, as you can see, are for the previous owners!

01/07/2026: A pleasant experience at La Table de l'Olivier in the Mercure Carcassonne. I was a little disappointed not to have dined on the terrace. It's a hotel restaurant, but one might expect a bit more atmosphere. The chef's cuisine is simple yet delicious. If you're staying at the hotel, don't hesitate; otherwise, there are better options in Carcassonne.

04/06/2026: I absolutely loved my dinner here! The orange-honey glazed chicken breast was a highlight—perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. The melon and ham carpaccio was a great starter, too. I finished my meal with a molten chocolate lava cake that was simply divine. If you’re looking for a great meal in Carcassonne, I highly recommend this place. Truly satisfied! I had the best dinner in Carcassonne! The orange-honey glazed chicken breast was especially exquisite, perfectly cooked and incredibly juicy. The melon and ham carpaccio appetizer was also wonderfully balanced. The molten chocolate lava cake for dessert was rich and a perfect finish. If you’re looking for a great meal in Carcassonne, I highly recommend this place!

11/09/2026: A top-notch pizzeria in Hagetmau and the surrounding area: the pizzas are excellent (the best around), and the other dishes are just as good! The desserts are generous and indulgent. Plus, the service is very friendly. Don't hesitate, you won't regret it!

26/04/2026: We wanted to try the pasta at this restaurant, but we were very disappointed. The pasta wasn't fresh, the Bolognese was bland, the carbonara was equally bland… and the salad was even worse. Plus, the welcome was very cold. Frankly, we won't be going back.

31/05/2026: Nicolas was a fantastic stop for picking up French wine and spirits to bring home. We were looking for a good Armagnac and Bordeaux, and the staff were incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to understand what we liked and recommending excellent bottles within our budget. What really stood out was the level of service. The team was patient, informative, and made the shopping experience approachable, even for visitors who aren’t wine experts. They also carefully wrapped every bottle in bubble wrap, giving us peace of mind that everything would survive the flight home safely. That extra attention to detail was greatly appreciated. An added bonus for international visitors is that they offer tax refunds on purchases over €100, making it an even better place to stock up on wines and spirits before heading home. If you’re looking to bring back French wine or spirits as souvenirs, Nicolas is a reliable and convenient choice with excellent customer service.

02/05/2026: Avoid at all costs!!! For decades, this Nicolas store has been steadily declining. I much prefer the wine sections at Carrefour Market Seine (right next door) or Monoprix Dragon (a 5-minute walk), which are far more appealing: a wide selection, quality vintage wines, and over 30% cheaper (including top wines from famous Burgundy châteaux). As for customer service, which used to be this franchise's selling point, Gemini (Google's AI app) is far, far superior (perfect answers. Just ask it questions).
